When Jack Feldmann the owner of Your Pet's Best Friend reached out to me, it was immediately apparent that he is a professional -- the real deal. I am trying to warn pet parents in the area about the VCA on kirkwood highway. I had a 4 month old…read morepuppy that was brought in 2x over the course of 4 weeks for coughing ; the first visit they said to give him a bland diet. The next visit because he was still coughing was on Monday Nov 4th. The vet said he had kennel cough but his lungs sounded clear and he looked good. By Saturday my poor puppy died. His lungs were so full of fluid when they did attempt to put in a tube during CPR fluid just came pouring out of his lungs. This all happened over the course of 5 days. The vet did not want to do an xray as his lungs sounded clear. My puppy has died due to the negligence of this animal hospital. I called them Monday to speak to the office manager and was told she would call back. Last night I received a text saying sorry and she would look into it and have received no further communication. There is no reason a healthy puppy should pass away from kennel cough.
