    Chicken sandwich and fries
    Ulgonda K.

Absolutely yummy food! Went here for lunch and I'm so glad we did. It's a little place but very clean and nice inside. The waitress was so sweet and all by herself! The fish sandwich was delicious. Tried the crab poutine fries and they were ok. The onion rings were a solid winner. Would gladly go back here anytime.

    Waygu burger and truffle fries

This place is great!! The food was amazing! It's run by a couple so they have limited hours because they can't work all day and all night but make a plan to stop in when they are open! The Buffalo chicken sandwich is loaded with delicious chicken and cheese! The waygu burger is juicy and delicious! Truffle fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked and crispy! We also ordered the pretzels and beer cheese which was top notch as well! Amazing in every way!

Nice place. Very Big. Lots of seats inside and out…read more Friendly staff Free Parking. Out in sticks but this place is well worth the drive to see a band. ! Couches and Fire places. We ordered a pork sandwich. It was horrible. Dry and overcooked. Bun was soggy and chewing. Fried were great. Hot and fresh Pizza was ok. Sauce was good. Small pepperonis. Drink prices are a little high but not for beer. I would come here again but not eat.

At first, we thought, oh this is out in Deland, no problem, but it's actually an hour away from Sanford in the boonies of De Leon Springs. The Drive wasn't actually bad it was just long. When you pull in, it's almost like entering a private road that leads to a farm. It's a dirt road with plenty of potholes so be on the lookout if you have a low-rider. The road is actually really beautiful, as there are rows of oak trees on either side of you. The building is quite large, with plenty of seating inside and out. There is a game room with darts, pool tables, light gambling, a large indoor bar, for the event they had three more bars outside. There are also plenty of TV monitors mounted throughout the restaurant so you can watch the big game. Staff were super friendly and there were a lot of them. I never had to wait for anything here. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was ready in less than 10-mintues. The sandwich was $12 but we were not really impressed. The meat was really dry and the bun chewy; the fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I had to dip my sandwich in my ketchup and mayo to get it down without choking. We sampled some of our friend's pizza which was good. The use tiny pepperoni on their pizzas which was kind of strange but it was passable. A lot of locals were dining in; the restaurant was packed when we arrived so they must be doing something right. I would be willing to order food here again because they do have decent pricing overall. Domestic beers were $4 and imported $7 not bad. I didn't order any mixed drinks but my wife said they were expensive. One thing I have to complain about is that my first bartender tried charging me $7 for a domestic and I had to correct her. Another bartender did the same thing to my wife and then the server who took our order asked if she could keep the change on our meal which was way more than 20%, not cool. The outdoor section on the back side of the restaurant overlooks an awesome horse track. I'm not sure if they have racing out here but they could easily do it if they wanted to. There are comfortable couches surrounding gas lite fireplaces throughout which is really nice. At the base of the seating area, they have a huge stage setup for live music. I'm not sure if they have this here all the time or just for Bike Week but I love it. The only downside is the band or promoter is responsible for providing sound and lighting. The venue does not offer this service. The sound and light team who provided services for Metal Militia tonight did a great job. I noticed Jim the lead singer was having some technical difficulties with getting the right sound in the beginning but he was able to work around it after the second song. All-in-all, we had a great time out here and look forward to coming back again. It's a haul so I'm not sure if we will be able to visit next, but we will be back.

We watched the sunset on the water and had a giant fire pit to sit next to when the sun went down. I do recommend getting the deep fried grouper. My husband ordered a mixed drink, dip and a chicken sandwich. I was brought my rib tips and my husband got his mixed drink and dip. I waited an additional 15 minutes (done with ribs) and walked across the bar and found the waitress and asked for my beer. The waitress stuck her finger up and said "wait a minute." I walked away and the table paid the bill, and then ordered a round of shots. The shots came and still no beer or our food. I went back to the waitress across the bar and asked again for my beer. She asked you had what again. It then took another 10 minutes and she finally brought the beer. At that time, we asked for our food and she said what did you order. We told her and said it's already been paid for. Now my husband and I are still sitting here at nine pm, all our friends have left and we're still waiting on our food alone instead of with the people we were coming to dinner with. We now will not be able to see our other friends before they leave. An hour and a half to get a beer is unacceptable. Apparently, the group got into trouble with the waitress for going up to the bar and order and get their drinks. I will NEVER get our group to come here again. We now have wasted our night and are very disappointed

We loved the laid back atmosphere, today was quiet and we were in no hurry. The food came out slowly, we were there for about an hour and a half. I did not taste red wine or beef broth but the onions were tender and it was delicious just very different. In between, we enjoyed a small house salad with strawberries, raisins and cheese as well as cucumber salad - very fresh. Next, we had chicken schnitzel and jaeger schnitzel covered in mushroom gravy with spaetzle and sauerkraut or red cabbage served warm with a hint of cinnamon. Portion sizes were good to excellent. Service was SLOW. Our table was the first seated just before 6 pm. First out was a slice of banana bread cut into four strips followed by a basket of delicious and slightly sweet bread. Over the two hour meal, there were only 3 tables of diners in the restaurant, 4 staff including the twins and chef, yet things took a very long time to come out to the table. Service was very slow by American standards so be prepared for that. We overheard another table asking about substituting and the server always had to go ask - it doesn't seem that substitutions are encouraged or welcome. Sides are set by the chef and you can choose your soup du jour or salad (side or cucumber). Buyer beware that soda refills DO cost 99 cents ‍
