Came here to grab some goodies as all my friends rave about this place ! I must say it was incredible! The rave is for their Chicken Cutlet Sandwich... It was delicious but missing some love inside .. it was a very dry piece of chicken breast with not much sauce inside and I don't know it was pretty bland and dry not enough tenderness and or flavour. It was still great .. they heat it in a panini press so its fresh and delicious I added some cheese and eggplant salad but it was still pretty dry. That's something I wouldn't get again. The focaccia bread was amazing 5+++ freshlybaked! Service: ok a little busy so they were ignoring us at first Ambiance : very fast pace to go kinda shop but it was pretty clean and easy .. thankfully they don't rush you to make an order and you can take your time! I Heard if this place and was in neighborhood and wanted to give it a try . Tons of parking and public transportation. The place is all In one shop for Italian products and pre made meals . I decided to try the following Chicken cutlet sandwich. The bread you can tell is home made and super fresh. The chicken was a bit over cooked but with there sauce it helped brewing it back to life. The Arancini ball was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Will get that again for sure. The focaccia bread was to die for. Cooked just right and tons of flavours. Will go back just for this. Having grown up in the east end, trips to Little Italy for food were a regular occurrence. Having moved off-island, those trips obviously became longer and thus the frequency fell away. Looking into a closer alternative, I came across La Trattoria and as soon as I tried it I left with the same sense of family and belonging that I do in Little Italy :) From the fresh cold cuts, bread and pizzas, imported packaged foods, and the daily sandwiches and desserts, there is nothing here that is not amazing and worth the detour. Even during these Covid times, the staff are always happy and eager to help and the Deli has kept up with all the proper health requirements from the early days and order-ahead-in-car-dropoff to the limiting of people in the store. Service is fast, staff is friendly, and the food is great. What more can you ask for? (Yeah, one day we'll get to sit and eat inside and have coffee, so that is one little thing... but it'll come again!) I honestly can't get enough of this place :) read more

This place is a locals favourite. It's a quaint and small Italian trattoria, as soon as you walk in you feel the buzz and high energy. I always order the chicken panini grilled and hot sauce on the side- it's amazing. The 4 cheese pizza is my second favourite thing they offer. They also carry cold cuts, olives, cheese, bread, imported olive oils, pastas, cookies...basically everything that's good about Italian cuisine. Come on a Saturday late afternoon, order a chicken sandwich with an espresso, sit at one of their small tables and enjoy the soccer game on tv. read more

I was looking for a place where I could get some ready made meals for a friend who just gave birth and stumbled across rave reviews of this place. Just walking in, I was salivating, everything smelt so good! The service was incredible, the man serving me walked me through my options and how I could also freeze some of the freshly cooked meals for later. In the end, I bought her a pancetta pasta, potato wedges, veal meatballs and a veggie wrap, she and her family raved about all of it! For myself I tried the chicken cutlet sandwich and a piece of the vegetarian lasagna and both were delicious, portions were a good size and the quality was so much better than any deli type establishment I have ever been to, can't wait to go back and try their pizza and other pasta options. read more

Skip the dishes delivery pizza - Too expensive and does not fill you up. Nice ideas, but 4 pizzas are not real food for a group of 5 people. This is appetizer pizzas, not actual pizza. Maybe this is good pizza for date night? Thin crust pizzas. Edge crust was nice bread. Cheese was nice. Vegetable toppings were really pointless. I only appreciated 1 of the 4 we ordered, and I did not appreciate how skipthedishes made the same items more expensive, so I tipped less. Their pizzas are small, look like they're supposed to be 4 big slices, but can get away with slicing them into 6, and would either make a good appetizer to share, or just keep one entire pizza to yourself as a "still not stuffed to death" meal. None were bad. Quality was noticed, I just didn't find it strong enough for the price. 115$ on pizza... I was expecting everyone to be fed well, (cooking a chicken as we speak to make up for this lol) Pizza Meat Lover: This was the only one I actually liked, the toppings were bold, noticeable, pleasant. I would order this again. I really like how the meats were distributed, making them small enough really makes each slice more even. Others noted this wasn't special and something you'd find everywhere. Pizza la Tartufata: Not bad. Almost creamy. Only thing I could taste was cream and mushroom. Pizza Chicken and Pesto: Not memorable. Chicken was dry. Pizza la margherita (added sausage): This was a very sad looking pizza lol It was stretched wide, like they were in too much of a hurry to bother. They ruined it with the way they cut the sausage, so you're mostly just eating bread and cheese. They SHOULD have cubed the sausage to be small like their others, and distribute it better. read more

First time here, definitely not my last. The wood fired pizza was better than I expected. The sauce is delicious and the crust was perfect. This is not a restaurant, it's more of a charcuterie and bakery with outdoor seating. Small menu but really worth. read more

Delicious deli!! I can't believe I haven't been sooner. It's tucked away in a small strip mall on chemin Ste Marie. La Trattoria has fantastic sandwiches packed with great quality deli meats. I had their roast beef and roasted pepper sandwich with some extra host sauce..so delicious! Also they make zeppole (fried choux Dough stuffed with a ricotta mixture) around March and April for St Joseph's day and they are one of the best I've had in Montreal. It's a very homey environment with an extremely friendly vibe. Even during COVID, the people were working together which really surprised me. Stepping inside for the first time, there was so much chocolate and everything italian! The meatballs were so delicious and the hot chocolate was the best! The prices are a bit high but the quality and taste really make up for it. Will definitely come back for the sandwiches and more drinks! read more

Not as cheap as everyone makes it out to be in the reviews (or at least, I guess, cheap for someone that lives in a 700k west island house) but the quality is definitely there. Everything in general is admittedly a bit more expensive while also unquestionably serving higher quality food. Superior sandwiches, superior pizza and hands down the best deserts I ever had. Also if you're not sure what youd like, you will be helped with all the questions you have.
