There are several complaints about Carla in the reviews, yet nothing appears to be done. During my appointment, my mouth was numbed without anyone explaining what was happening, and I was then left alone in the room. I later went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told that Great Expressions had identified five additional cavities that did not appear to be necessary. After I complained and said I would never return, I received a poorly formatted termination letter in the mail. Based on the timing and content of that letter, it honestly felt like the office was trying to cover itself rather than address my concerns. Don't bother contacting corporate when they respond to your review--they offer no real help and you will never hear back regarding action being taken. Instead, you'll receive a termination letter. Based on my experience, I believe this establishment is a scam and seems more focused on making money than providing appropriate care. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and avoiding this office at all costs.

I only came here and stayed here for a few years because it was the only dental office that accepted my insurance but boy do I regret it. In my time going there, I had to have a tooth pulled, I was told I could no longer get regular cleanings only deep cleanings because my gums were so bad but when they submitted X-rays to my insurance company for approval in paying for a deep cleaning it was denied because my gums actually didn't need it. They bill you for things your insurance company already paid for and when you call back to ask for a refund they pass your call from person to person. It wasn't until I had my insurance company filed a claim that they felt the need to acknowledge their error. I 100% feel the only reason people go here is because dental expenses can be a lot but I learned from experience leaving this dental office has been the best thing I have done for not only my teeth but for my happiness. But trying to get my own dental records back to give to my new dental office was also a draining process over the phone. I had to physically show up at the office to ask for my paperwork because they didn't take me serious over the phone. Now that I left I feel more confident with my new dentist and even though they don't take my insurance and I have to pay out of pocket, I'm getting what I pay for which is professionalism and honesty about my teeth at my dentist which is never what I felt here.

We started in the one that was severe and the process was not as terrifying as I thought it would be. Once the nerve was killed, I was able to smile again. I came back two days later to finish the care on that tooth and proceeded with the next one. Next Friday will be the last tooth and preliminary steps to making the crown. They don't take a while to do anything. However, I did not like the fact that I can not eat on one side of my mouth. I was super annoyed. Grumpy and hungry. I also hated the price. I almost fainted when I saw how pricey it is. But the pain kept me from getting a second quote. I'm satisfied. They are super friendly and caring.
