Other than my dental hygienist being the same person, and my dentist as well, there is not much more I can review at this time. When I asked them to please email my X-rays and records to me they told me that the records they keep are not digital including X-rays. They are still taking them with film. They also were not able to help me with an issue I was having and told me there was nothing that could be done about it. The new place I go now, has since helped me with fixing that same issue. I tried this dentist because it was in a convenient location, but there are plenty of dentists in Plainview and the surrounding areas. I am sure all of them have to be more modern than this place. Upon arriving, it was clearly called out that the practice had changed hands as there's typically holdovers in terms of staff. Dental hygienist who did my cleaning was thorough and couldn't have been nicer. I asked her about an almost-cavity that my previous dentist had been monitoring, and she said it was still a non-issue. The dentist (Eastern European guy, not Zedeker) comes in and magically finds a cavity that she allegedly didn't see. Didn't offer much explanation other than it wasn't the same one I asked about. They insisted I come back to fill the cavity later and had me make an appointment which was weird as typically a dentist will just handle a cavity on the spot. A lot of this didn't sit right with me, so I went to another dentist to double check. Turns out there was no new cavity where they said, and even the old almost-cavity was so small that they would never recommend touching it unless it grew. Maybe they thought I would just allow them to make more money off of me, and do unnecessary (potentially harmful) work in the process. I canceled my appointment and will never return. Maybe this practice was once good and honest, but that clearly isn't the case anymore. Plenty of dentists around who don't pull crap like this. No wonder they needed to buy an existing practice.

I specifically made the appointment for repair to take place that day. He was called and asked to return since he apparently had just left without informing anyone else there. He refused. I was asked to return the next day. I agreed to call my boss to let him know I would be late to work. I was given a price of $600 to simply attach a tooth to a denture. I told them that price was exorbitant and would not return. PS, I had my denture repaired elsewhere for 50 percent less. Never experienced anything like this before.

Made first initial consultation appointment here two weeks ago with second visit today 3/24/23. The consultation was scheduled very easily upon calling the practice directly. The receptionist immediately provided me complete answers to basic questions I had and scheduled the appointment for the time and date of my choosing. A few days later I arrived on time and within a few minutes after it took to complete a basic form on an iPad I was met by a member of the clinical staff along with Dr. Yusupov the care provider who is experienced in multiple modalities of dental medicine including surgical and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Yusupov is highly credentialed with vast knowledge & practice experience across major teaching university that translates to the safest of office based Dental Medicine services. His staff is outstanding and the practice location is far above any I've previously attended with respect to it being impeccably clean throughout its entire premise. Staff & it's leadership's are professional and polite in the most genuine manner such that you can't help to notice their commitment to your well being is at the center of all they determines matters. Had an extraction and bone graft to a tooth in the lower left back of my mouth which had decayed after years of having a root canal and crown. arrived a few minutes prior to my surgery appointment at 11:00am and was out the office by 12:30pm.
