Beef Stroganoff
Kurt J.

I've always enjoyed the pizza here and having the Brazilian twist is a nice addition. Service was good. The few times I've been in. It seems kind of slow. Love the beef stroganoff from the Brazilian side. Get the Calabrese or the That's Amore pizza. I get a mix.

No words needed!!!

I enjoy Delicatto because I love Italian and my husband loves Brazilian! There is something for the entire family. We are all satisfied every time we have been there! The service is wonderful! They treat you like family and it is just wonderful! We brought our friends and family for my husband's birthday. We had the best time! There was a live Brazilian band that really set the ambiance. My favorite part was that they made a brigadeiro birthday cake that was out of this world!!!! Five stars is not even enough for my favorite Orem area restaurant!!!

Such a fun restaurant! Brought my Brazilian husband and he highly approved of the frango with catupiry pizza. Definitely coming back!

Feijoada - comes with vineagrette, couve, and farofa.

Wow. This was so much better than my expectations. I am always looking for good authentic Brazilian food, and this is one of the best I've ever found. A lot of the negative reviews talk about the "weird flavors" of the Brazilian food which is unfortunate because it is very authentic. I can't speak to the pizza because I was there for the Brazilian food. I will say that many of their pizzas are Brazilian pizzas which definitely taste different from a typical Italian pizza. So keep that in mind. We ordered the feijoada and chicken stroganoff, as well as a couple of coxinhas with catupiri. It was all absolutely stellar. The coxinhas were perfect. They have them with or without catupiri (a soft cheese inside) and they are fried beautifully. The feijoada was super well done. Excellent meat and sausage, super well seasoned, and served with a bed of beautiful rice that was delicious on its own. It was served with farofa (a toasted cassava flour), vinaigrette (similar to pico de gallo), and couve (Brazilian style collard greens). Also it was a massive helping of the beans and rice. So much food. The chicken stroganoff was amazing, the best Brazilian stroganoff I've found outside of Brazil. Delicious with chicken, mushrooms, tomato, and the delicious sauce. Also served with amazing rice and also came with fries. That was all we had for our first visit, and we'll absolutely be going back to try many other things. Super tasty, and 100% recommend it to anyone, but especially those looking for a great authentic Brazilian meal.

Just this side of raw toward the center. No competent pizzaiolo would serve this.

If you're not committed to keeping a wood-fired oven at high temperature throughout your service, burning all those expensive hardwood splits to keep both the deck and the dome ripping hot, you should just switch to a regular wall oven. Because you're not making good pizza. Virtually guarantee it. In this case, I wouldn't say the crust was raw, but the majority of the crust was roughly as cooked as a steamed bun. I should have sent it back. The situation was already awkward. Picture the scene. It's a little early for dinner on a Friday evening but according to the sign the place has been open for almost 6 hours already. You approach a restaurant you've never been to before, open the front door, and the layout has you corralled toward a display freezer and a counter with a cash register on it. A worker is stationed behind the counter in a state of readiness. There's no signage indicating that you should wait to be seated or to seat yourself. It really looks like you're supposed to approach the counter. There are, however, no menus along the corralling area. And you've arrived at, ostensibly, according to the sign, a pizzeria, but it's a freezer full of gelato. Do I order here? No? There's a, er, is that a counter or a bar? In front of the oven with like three guys standing behind it? Is this like the pizza version of a sushi counter? Is there some kind of omakase slice situation? Those guys don't seem to speak English. Turns out the lady at the gelato counter is my waitress. K. The menu says the pizza is Neapolitan or Brazilian style. I order from the Neapolitan side. My advice is that if the pizza oven isn't ready you shouldn't accept a pizza order. A pizza oven has to provide heat from both above and below. In a wood-fired oven, the majority of that heat is actually supposed to be stored in the bricks of the baking surface and in the brick or other refractory material of the dome. The dome is not just insulation - it needs to absorb and release heat as well. We all know that the premium firewood it needs is expensive. We all know that managing the fire requires training and attentiveness. Those are the requirements of aspiring to be a wood-fired pizzeria. And if you're not going to do it correctly, you're going to make bad pizza. So, from the condition of the crust that was served to me, I can surmise that there was very little heat soaked into the deck of the oven when the dough hit it. There was probably a fire going because the cheese melted and the cornicione has some spotting. The pizzaiolo was smart enough to not just push the pizza right up against the coals and turn the outer edges to charcoal, but probably should have explained that the oven isn't gonna be ready for like an hour. Certainly should have tipped up the crust with the turning peel to see how things are going. Probably should have moved it around to different spots to try and get some actual crust on the crust toward the center. Maybe they did move it around but the deck was too tepid. I don't want a refund. I don't want a replacement pizza. I don't want to have a dialog with the management about my experience. I want there to be a great pizzeria in my neighborhood. I'm pretty sure that the management of this establishment isn't committed to that. Aside from that, they were extremely generous with the cheese, and the cheese is very salty. Typically a very salty cheese is selected so that the flavor of the pizza will balance out with a thin layer of cheese. I have a tendency to salt things more than other people, but this was too much salt. It did seem to be a high-quality cheese aside from having too much salt for how much of it was applied. I am sorry to write all this because I get the impression that the business is struggling, and it is clearly an expensive location to lease. But if you're going to offer a high-end pizza, you should serve a high-end pizza. Or you should cut your losses and close up shop. Or just be a Brazilian restaurant and don't try to be a pizzeria.

Alfredo with Picanha

First time trying this place. Don't let the name of the restaurant fool you. Definitely not just a pizza joint. This is a mix of Brazilian and Italian. Interesting mix. However, I was surprised. I had the Alfredo and I was glad that it didn't taste like every single Alfredo pasta dish I've eaten everywhere else, I swear it's all the same. It was actually really good! Wife had the gnocchi and she enjoyed it as well. I'll definitely be returning here. Maybe to taste some of their Brazilian dishes.

Order from the Brazilian side. Appetizers and beef stroganoff are delicious! The all-beef lasagna was so-so.

Not a lot of dining room for the demand. Overall, still a top notch pizza place!

The two works at the cash register seemed to care more about talking to each other than the customers. Especially because we shared it was our first visit and asked for recommendations. They were vague and not super helpful but that's okay. The unlimited salad bar was a little underwhelming. Some of the toppings seemed not very fresh and like they had been sitting out for a few hours. I also wish they had spinach as a lettuce option. I also wish they had hard boiled eggs, ham/chicken, bacon, etc. it would be more worth the price. I don't I would get this again unless they added some better items. The small plate is not worth $10. The garlic knots were nice and cheesy. They were very fresh and a nice starter. We both wished they had more seasoning/garlic. It tasted more like just the butter and cheese. If I order garlic knots, I want and expect, a lot of garlic. The chicken bacon pizza we ordered was nice and fresh. It didn't have a lot of cheese though and the ranch (which was the sauce) needed some more flavor. It had decent flavor overall, but with more cheese and seasonings, it would be better. The crust/pizza bread itself was delicious! I would definitely come back and the pepperoni pizza to give them a second chance!
