Service: the service is OK, it took some time for the waitress to show up but not overly tardy. Ambiance: it's a reasonably noisy place and noise bounced quite a bit because the floors were cement and there's not a lot of materials to absorb the noises. Food: this is one big factor for coming to a Brazilian steakhouse. For a place that calls itself a steakhouse, you would expect v various high grade beef cuts but I'm guessing that the beef prices in the last 3 years must have squeezed this chain to death and they are coming up with "creative" ways to fill you up with less beef. Here are the fillers: lots of syrupy chicken, pineapple drowned with sugar, sweet ham, sausages and even chicken hearts (organ meats in a steakhouse !!!). When I were there, I actually asked the server about the beefs and he said there were only 3 types of beefs served and none were rib-eye, tenderloin and anything of the higher grade cuts. The beef cuts served were tri-tip and sirloin marinated in different ways. Ribeye and tenderloin used in previous years are no longer used. The quality of beef has undeniably declined. Conclusions: what's the verdict and would I return? Most definitely not, for that price. They need to do better. read more

This isn't the Rodizio I remember. Our recent visit to Rodizio was quite disappointing. This used to be our favorite place, especially our son's. Which is why he asked to celebrate his birthday here. We made a reservation and were seated right away. Our original server was kind but we ended up with a different server after about a third of our time there. She was also kind. Our disappointment began as we stopped by the salad bar. It was not kept up, some dishes were either empty or near it, other options were stale and clearly have been sitting there for a while. The restaurant itself looked clean enough. We have been to this location now four times and this was the first time we regretted going once the meat came around. We remembered them having the best meats with so much flavor and seasoning. Now, the pork and chicken options were just okay. The beef options, which are usually our favorites, ended up being our least. They were either served over cooked/dry or way under cooked. Which is odd because they even asked us how we like ours cooked to which we asked for medium rare. Never got that. When we left and my husband and I talked about our experience, he said it made sense because everyone working were extremely young, some had headphones in and that the cooks were messing around. We spent $130 and definitely did not get our money's worth. We usually give places second chances but this was unfortunately so bad I truly don't see us going back. This place needs to hire employees with better work ethic. Especially when dealing with food. read more

I always have a great time at Rodizio Grill. I had a 7pm reservation and was seated fairly quickly (within 5 minutes). Our server was extremely sweet and attentive and all the serving staff were also very friendly. If you expressed which cuts were your favorite they'd often offer bigger pieces. For me, picanha and the garlic steak were my two favorite. The salad bar also offers a wide selection of items, better than other Brazilian steakhouses that I've tried. On this particular night it seems that a lot of people were celebrating birthdays and Rodizio celebrates you with staff singing! First time at Rodizio last week and it was a great experience. It was easy to reserve online and then only had to wait 5 minutes before being seated. From there we met our server who explained the whole experience like how the buffet worked and the meat "stoplight" system. Throughout our meal he was very attentive to his tables and had a happy attitude for a busy Friday night at the Riverwoods. We enjoyed several kinds of limeades, salads, beans/rice and of course the wide variety of meats. I was super impressed by the staff handling the 15+ group near us and was initially worried that would mean less for the smaller tables but that ended up not being the case. We did observe that there were no fish options being served, as we have experienced at other similar restaurants. To be expected that it was loud and busy but my boyfriend and I still had a great time. I think our consensus was that we wished we had additional plates just for meat instead of sharing our salad plates but we would definitely come again. read more

I took some family from Spain to Rodizio and my family was shocked that every server spoke Spanish. They felt so welcome and embraced, something they have only experienced a few times while being here. The vibe was as good as the food, with everyone's favorite being the grilled pineapple and picanha. If you're going to get a drink, they offer to switch flavors of their Brazilian Lemonades when you've finished one. My advice is to get the coconut flavor, it was so good. I came in today to celebrate my birthday with a couple of friends and brought a birthday offer/coupon, which I made our server aware of at the beginning of the evening. During dinner, one of the staff members accidentally cut my friend's finger with the big knives they use, while serving the meat. The team was very apologetic and offered to cover her meal, which we appreciated and felt was appropriate given the situation. However, at the end of the evening, I was told that my birthday coupon would not be honored because her meal had been comped. These two situations are unrelated, and I came specifically to celebrate my birthday using that offer. I left feeling disappointed, as I don't feel it was appropriate to deny the birthday promotion under those circumstances. I don't think the situation was handled well as I was left with a negative experience of this place that I have been coming to for years. read more

Rodizios was delicious, the service was great, and the price can't be beat! We have Texas de Brazil as the only close Brazilian BBQ to us, but it is so pricey now that it's a special occasion only kind of place. Dinner now I think is $64 and the kids are half at $32, and Rodizios is half that! Our kids liked Rodizios more anyway! They liked being able to get bread and fries on their own at the buffet instead of having to get those from the normal waiter like Texas de Brazil. The offerings on the buffet were all delicious and every cut of meat they brought around was top notch. We of course prefer the picanha, king of the hill for Brazilian BBQ :-) They also had some smoked cheese with honey they were bringing around that was delicious. The kids liked the bottomless flavored lemonades I tried at least 2 different flavors each. The staff were all great, from the server to everyone brining around meat, we had a really good time and everything was delicious. Now that we know about Rodizio, we will have to try out their San Diego, CA location when we're down that way. read more

Rodizio consistently exceeds expectations. I believe the owner or GM's name is Baruch at this store and is so friendly and checks in with every customer. The location isn't the best, and there is a short walk to the entrance from the parking lot which makes it difficult for those with mobility issues but it is absolutely worth it. The meats are soo delicious, sweet and spicy chicken thighs (bones removed) are my absolute favorite. Rodizio has a better selection of ham/pork options which are tasty. Temperature and crispiness is always on point. Like a lot of other restaurants in Utah County, when you go to order wine you sometimes get a server who you can tell feels awkward or out of their depth about it, but a Brazilian steakhouse is an amazing place to try out wine and meat pairings. Where else can you go and try 10+ amazing meats and 2-3 glasses of different wines for under $100 a person? read more

The food was flavorful and each item came out super quick, but the main reason for my immediate review (we just finished our meal) is the service. I love a good Rodizios establishment, and this place doesn't disappoint. We've been here three times now over the years, and recently discovered they do lunches at a cheaper rate than their dinners (but with the same delicious food fare). So my husband and I snuck away for a nice anniversary lunch and ate until we couldn't move. Not that you asked, but my personal favorites: parmesan crusted steak and chicken, pao de queijo, picanha, grilled pineapple, flan, and coconut limeade. At the very least, get the coconut limeade. The STAFF were all phenomenal! What a great team of happy and helpful servers. Everyone was positive and kinda and they deserve the best. Especially Allison who was so attentive and helpful. The main courses were all delicious my only complaint is the sides at the buffet were not anything I would come back for. The traditional brazillian cheese bread wasnt great. They need to figure out what aubergine does with their bread and follow their lead. But just don't fill up on the sides and enjoy the main courses and youll have a good time. This place is always on point! Fun atmosphere with plenty of seating so you don't feel crammed. My wife and I started with a huge delicious salad and then worked on the various rounds of meat they would bring around. Our server Faith was especially helpful with her attention. She checked on us frequently enough but didn't smother our dining experience. She also recommended desserts that were perfect !!! Great service, albeit slow, but the place was packed. There were six of us who all had the full Rodizio. This was 1.5 weeks ago on a Friday night. We had reservations. Quick in and seated. Very nice servers. The salad bar had a lot of options and was very good. The meat selection was decent though we weren't offered any of the more exotic meats. The garlic beef and sweet and spicy (not really) chicken were the best. We were there 1.5 to 2 hours (slow service) and didn't feel it was worth the amount of money for the 1 inch bits of meat. Seriously tiny pieces. We've been to other Brazilian style restaurants and we've never been served such small pieces. read more
