The small place is quaint, and has so many Colombian goodies. I had the Bandeja paisa which I thought was very reasonably priced, and it comes with steak, rice, beans, fried egg, plantains , and chorizo or chicharrón . My son also loved it! The rice was a little bit hard, but once you add the egg and the beans, you could hardly tell. The space is beautiful and reminds me of this part of Colombia called Filandia. One of the servers was super friendly, and the other was pretty grumpy, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was having a bad day. I will coming back though to try what else they have. read more

The food is really good but it is SO HARD to order here that I deducted two stars. First off DO NOT order on their website through Yelp they don't get those orders. Even if you get a confirmation email they won't get the order. Also ordering over the phone is difficult even if you just name things that are on their menu with no special requests they don't seem to know what is available. If you order in person you typically won't get their sauces which are amazing! You can order through Google and that seems to work. But I feel like it shouldn't be this much trouble to order. read more

First time here , i asked for calentado with steak ,egg and rice mix with beans for $7.99 and I told her the second plate to be same order but just not rice . The server said so you want steak , egg and Arepa . Arepa were no even hot enough and it was to soft ,they're suppose to be well cook and hot . This is Colombian cuisine restaurant, and has a lot of options on the menu. A large section of the menu is arepas and different stuffing. From arepas stuffed with steak and muchrooms , to arepas stuffed with chicharron. All of the menu is in both English and Spanish, with English in parentheses. The service wasn't bad, but we were the only ones there at first. Our server seemed to be the only server. He did a good job as my girlfriend doesn't know much about Colombian cuisine and he did very well describing each of the dishes she asked about. I thought that was critical being that its cuisine from another country the servers have to describe and explain the dishes to anyone. The decor is really special though. The restaurant just opened last week, and it is very clean. I posted several pictures of the place. I love how one side of the wall is decorated like the front door of the older style homes on Colombia. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, which is a very common dish from Colombia. The frijoles(red beans) were well done and had pork in it giving it a very hearty flavor. I've seen this done before, beans have to have something added to it whether its plataibs and red sauce and or pork, added flare is a must. They went with pork and it was well done. The chicharron was diced. That isn't the way I would have preferred it but for people not familiar with it having it diced might be more appealing. I wasn't a fan of the chorizo in their version of the Bandeja Paisa, but aside from that it wasn't bad. It is a very nice place, the food good, I wasn't enthralled by thee flavor of the food, but I would come back. I would loves to try more of their signature arepas. read more

This place really disappointed me. I was in n the mood for a small dinner, and remembered the arepas with the various toppings. I walked into a completely empty restaurant. No patrons, no staff... nobody. That should have been my first clue. Eventually a woman came out from the back, and seemed surprised I wanted to have dinner. Second clue? The menu says they have a daily soup, but I was told they didn't have any soup - #3?? I ordered the Abuela, an arepa with shredded chicken, pork and cheese, and a side of beans (I was hoping they would be somewhat soup-like). Food arrived, beans barely warm and completely tasteless. Arepa seemed a lot more like a tortilla-it was so thin, and I actually checked to see if there was some paper under it as it would not cut. But my real problem was the meat tasted "off". I took 2 bites and just couldn't eat it. When the waitress returned (I had to call her over) I told her the meat was bad and I couldn't eat it -so she just brought me the check. Didn't ask if I would like something else (no I wouldn't) and didn't offer to remove the item from my bill. $10 straight into the garbage. So- never going back. read more

Empanadas from heaven. We simply love this place. Our family gathers regularly and we always order a feast from here. We have disabled kin so we use the delivery service. Over the course of 4 years they have always been wonderful! The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. We have our favorites such as the grilled steak with rice and beans, sweet corn cakes with cheese and of course the empanadas per above are always excellent. We Uber breakfast from them all the time and it's just so fantastic and fresh everyday. I can't spell the name of the meal we get but it's rice and beans with fried eggs and fried pork skins. My husband and I ordered to go and the staff was incredibly nice. We got there around 1 pm and they allowed me to order breakfast. The restaurant itself is very nice decorated looks like the homes in Colombia. Everything was clean and the food was delicious! This was my first time at this restaurant. The decor Was too cute. The walls were dressed with front doors in bright Colombian colors. It was as if you are sitting on outdoor cafe, enjoying the view. The food was ok. I had that Colombian dish that comes with sausage, steak, rice beans and an egg. This dish could have used some more flavor. All the meats and the beans were bland. Very disappointed. I order from the one up in military trail and they have the best fruit salad ever. I tried this one because is closer to my house but I was so disappointed. Their "fruit salad" should be name melón salad, it had no banana, no watermelon and like 2 grapes the rest was a very unflavored melón, my little sister ordered a salpicon that look a little off and it was because it also tasted like melón was left overnight in water. I've drove past this place many times and always promise my self to come try it. Well today I was feeling lazy and decided to order UBER eats and this place popped up first with a .99 cents delivery so I said this is the time to give it a try. Let me tell you am so proud of my self for taking the risk lol I order the Bandeja Paisa and my daughter got the Calentado con Carne, both meals where cooked to perfection and came exactly the way we order it. Very nice quaint little restaurant. It's located next to a Publix, so you don't have to shop hungry ;) and if you're craving greasy fast food, there's a Five Guys right next door. On to the food: I had a grilled chicken breast with salad. (can you tell I'm on a diet?) The salad was just shredded iceberg lettuce with a few pieces of tomatoes and a little bit of dressing on top, nothing special. In fact I thought it was quite bland. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, and although it was not as seasoned as I would have liked, it tasted good with the 'picante' sauce they bring you. Service was good and quick. The menu isn't that extensive, they have the typical Colombian staples, but need a little more variety in their sides. There is no bakery case and I was a little surprised this being a Colombian restaurant. In fact I didn't know it Colombian until I saw the menu. Overall an okay place I wouldn't go out of my way to come to it, though. They are other better Colombian restaurants out there. read more
