We had lunch here today. We were around the corner at Big Lots and this came up on our Yelp app as being the closest restaurant. We were heading to Publix and decided to eat something first (I don't like to food shop when I'm hungry!). We ate inside. The tables are spaced far apart. The menu is a Latin fusion -- dishes from Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, and even Mexico. There's a wide variety of dishes from pupusas to tacos; arepas to ceviche and churasco. We both decided to try their soup of the day. It was chicken soup with pieces of chicken, carrots, elbow macaroni, and potatoes. It was okay, but would have been better served at a hotter temperature. I also tried their mixed pupusas. I ordered two of them and they were huge. They came with a side of vinegary slaw to top the pupusas. I ate one and brought the other one home. Service was nice and friendly. Language is no problem. I'm glad we went. Now we know.

La Padella Lantina opened 2 weeks ago in the location formerly occupied by MCK Fusion Cafe in a strip mall in Coconut Creek. This family owned business serves a variety of Latin dishes. After having visited MCK Fusion it looks like the new owners have spruced the place up. There is ample seating inside or you can order take out at the large counter with stools. The menu is huge. There are four pages of dishes to choose from plus appetizers, dessert and beverages that include beer and wine. For my first visit I ordered the tacos with your choice of chicken, pork, or steak topped with onions and cilantro. I tried one of each and they ranged in price from $2.25 to $2.75. The girl who helped me was a sweetheart. Served with lime and a tasty green sauce, the tacos were filling and delicious. Prices are inexpensive and I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu. I wish them the best of luck in their new restaurant. Support a small business and check them out. The restaurant is open daily from 8 to 10 PM except for Sunday when they close at 9.

This is my second time coming to this location while on my lunch break from school. The location is clean not crowded every time I come there's always a seat available and service is quick and friendly. Food is nice and hot and fresh cooked to order. They have a variety of Latin dishes rangeging from Venezuelan to Colombian to El Salvadore and to Mexican. So I'm not sure what to eat here is plenty options!

    Guacamole and "chips"

Guacamole was too salty, chips were crumbs, rice in the burrito was wet. Description on the menu does not say it's made with beans and rice, but when i called and asked was told it did. Overpriced. Before I could select receipt she hit no. I asked for one and she gave the credit card receipt, I needed the itemized one. Paid $24 for the two items in my photos, not worth it.

Service here was great, very clean little place. I stopped by while waiting for my dog to get groomed in the plaza next door. Ordered the pupusas which were delicious so fresh, the hot sauce and cabbage salad were great. The rice and beans were ok and I took a Venezuelan arepa Togo which looks really good. Overall would come back it's great for a quick bite!

A small hole in a wall in a plaza that's not busy. The cashier was nice. The food was ok. Nothing special really. It was honestly a bit dry, both the fries and chicken. Would I come back? No, since I've had better places closer to me. Is it worth a try? Maybe if you try something other than the milanesa de pollo, yes.

Worst service I have ever encountered the food wasn't edible and the owner was argumentative which I refused to engage in. They lost a $20. Tip over a $4. Item. Would strongly advise to stay away from this restaurant!!!

I had a horrible experience here. First I waited like 40 minutes for 2 tacos and when I finally get it this is what I get. The meat is cold, the tortilla is hard and no topping. Just meat and a dry tortilla. I try this place because is closed to home and I wanted to love it, but OMG! What a mess. Never again! Street tacos are better than this. If this is what they consider a taco they won't be around for long.

I left this place absolutely stuffed and incredibly satisfied. Excellent service. It's clear this business has pride in themselves. I got the salpequeno steak, seafood soup, and pupusas. The steak was perfectly marinated/flavored and incredibly tender. The pupusas were packed with simple yet pronounced flavors and were the perfect texture. The seafood soup was packed of all sorts of goodies, with prawn and crab and a rich broth. MAKE SURE YOU COME HERE

It's one of those places where you feel like you're getting real value for your money. The enchiladas are my favorite. The hot sauce is so good on the food too. Sometimes, the wait is long but it's always worth it. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with fun music, TVs playing, and the staff has always been friendly and attentive whenever I've eaten there. Where they lose a star is the wait times (sometimes wait for a reallly long time) and the consistency of freshness... sometimes the food is outstanding, and sometimes it tastes old and rotten. (Like the cucumber, tomatoes or avocado toppings). My mom had a severe allergic reaction last time we ate there. Still, I like to come back because it's that good when it is good.

The food is delicious, fresh and authentic. My favorite part or this restaurant is their salsa and sauce station, where the guests can fill up their own little cups of salsas and spicy sauces to go, or to dine in. I had the steak meal, with rice, beans and sweet plantains, it was flavorful and everything was well seasoned. It's latin/Peruvian food. You get your food fast but I wouldn't consider it a fast-food restaurant if that makes sense. #1 thing that I've noticed is their consistency. Shrinkflation hasn't hit here yet. In my opinion you're getting the same Kg of meat, same size, cooked the same, same amount of seasoning, same temperature every time. The same cup of rice and the same semi-watery black beans. Trust me, it all pairs well with eachother. I love their sauce bar! I'm an onion guy and love the fact they offer sauces with a heavy amount of diced onions. Their mild and hot sauces add a creamy flavor with a touch of heat. 4 stars isn't being too nice or too stingy on a rating. You need to try this place, or one of their many locations. It's the exact hole in the wall you're looking for. I absolutely love this place and wouldn't change a thing. You can tell it's a local favorite as it's always crowded, both with dine in and take out. Prices went with the flow of the economy. It's crept up over the years but so has everything, can't complain about that. Overall, I certify that this place is great and you won't be disappointed if you like Latin food.
