The restaurant was teeming with an abundance of patrons. Strangely, the Colombian cafe serves Cuban coffee, while there are a vast selection of Colombian medium roasts to offer. Will never turn down a simplistic Cuban coffee, so I ordered my second espresso of the morning. As my espresso was brewing, I noticed over my shoulder an entire loaf of artisan bread being gently transported to an awaiting customer table, which created a smile on my face. The employee advised that the loaves hover around the $11.00 price range. Ordered a Pan de Bono to complement my espresso. Although the size was decent, the bread was unusually dry and tasteless. Based on the breakfast and lunch specials, its obvious why its so busy. The bathroom was clean with a modern pedestal sink and cute simple decor.

As were were finishing, the restaurant got more crowded and I figure during the dinner hours, this place would be very crowded because the food and service are great. They brewed me a Cuban colada presented in a common styro cup without a logo, lacking a simple and cheap detail. The coffee provided me a quick jolt of pleasure. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and basic with a square cut distressed style mosaic wall mirror above the sink. We asked the staff if they could speed up our order as we were in a bit of a hurry. Thankfully the meals came out quick no more than 15 minutes. We ordered the bandeja paisa which is one their most tradicional dishes. Crispy chicharron,maduros and perfectly cooked rice. The arepa didn't look or taste homemade more like store bought. We appreciated the attentiveness and quick service. The restaurant is really cute with all the colorful and traditional decor. Nice place to come back.
