Recently hosted a Volunteer Brunch event and had Delicious Moments cater it. They were spectacular, not only were they prompt but they were easy to work with and they set up wonderfully. They took a lot of stress off of the day because I knew they had it under control. I can't say enough great things about this place. Definitely would recommend! In addition to delicious food, amazing team setting up and overall great experience, we also hired 4 servers through them, and they were outstanding ! Next time you need waitresses for your party, ask for Joanne, Elizabeth, Christine and Melissa. These 4 ladies worked amazingly together. They took care of everything without even having to be asked. I highly recommend the blackened salmon: very delicious and fresh salmon with generous servings of sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. My doctor recommended that I have more salmon, so this is a welcome way to get more salmon in my diet. The mashed potatoes are wonderful, but some low carb choices would be better. I also tried the continental wrap with ham and Brie. Very good but if they could have put in a bit more honey mustard and added apples, might be spectacular. I didn't know this place, which is so close to me, existed for the longest time. Delicious Moments is primarily a catering place (if the name didn't give it away), however, you can order takeout food for lunch as an individual, and it.is.the.best. I think they're a small family run business as well. I have ordered lunch from them a lot over the past 2 years and it is my favorite place to take out from. The food is fresher than anywhere else, and their prices are better too (I'm guessing both of these things have to do with them ordering and making large quantities of food-nothing really sits). Their salads are the best, and I usually can't eat a whole one in one sitting. Most of their sauces and dressings are made from scratch, and their croutons are home made as well! I always get a salad with salmon (they have a great selection to choose from), and their salmon is cooked to perfection with a generous portion. It's seriously better than any of the popular restaurants near here. This is takeout only-the space is very small (Easy to drive by). I believe they deliver for a fee and/or do grubhub. The only thing I would note is that because they are primarily catering, they may not take individual orders when they are extremely busy and every time I seem to find a menu (here, their website, or the takeout menu), it's all slightly different. I also know they were doing a lot for the hospitals and community during COVID. They would get 5 stars from me regardless, but it's also nice to support a local place that really cares about the community. Although I have not ordered for catering, my parents have and said everything was fantastic, and I have a couple of friends who have said great things. I guess I need to have a party and place a ginormous order. Anyway, very highly recommend this spot. Absolutely FABULOUS!! Steve was an angel. Having my daughters Sweet 16 moved from Hall to backyard was a Huge event. But Steve is very professional and his knowledge was comforting. I'm not the type to exaggerate and I love to give praise and support to business's that have a good product and service. This is not one of those places. This review is solely on the food as I ordered food from them as well as having a meal a family member ordered and brought to me. The old saying applies, " fool me once ...fool me twice shame on me". The food here is bland and tasteless at its best. I wish I was overstating this but I'm not. I ordered a turkey blt wrap and a chicken and Brie sandwich. Both were really bad for different reasons. One, the turkey BLT was cold. They obviously pre make the sandwich and keep it in a very cold freezer or fridge. And you can taste that it's old too. They are obviously into taking short cuts here. A terrible practice in general but from a restaurant, a lawsuit waiting to happen. A sandwich takes no more than a minute to make fresh. The bacon is the only thing that MAY be acceptable to precook ( same day ). I mean come on! A turkey BLT wrap couldn't be any easier to make fresh. Given the taste and texture, I'm guessing they are holding onto food probably longer than the law allows. Second, the chicken and Brie sandwich was even worse than the turkey BLT. The chicken was like rubber. Again it taste like they are precooking, freezing and then microwaving later. It was def old chicken too based on general taste. I spit both out after a bite or two, literally. This business claims they got some award for good food but I would contest that and check to see if that claim is even true. If it is, then it isn't for this location I promise you or it's an old accolade and they became to comfortable. If I didn't order it for delivery due to limited mobility from a healing foot injury, I would demand my money back. This food is going to make someone sick for sure. I'm actually writing this review and keeping both sandwiches in the fridge in case I get ill. Sorry this is so harsh but I have never eaten food this bad and most obviously old and not prepped well. And both sandwiches are incredibly simple to make to order. read more

I recently ordered from Delicious Moments for a small St Pats Party. Due to weather issues the date needed to be changed. I called Steve and he gave me no problem at all. When the date finally came and I picked up the food, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount they give you. There was a huge salad bowl, and 3 large trays of corned beef, potatoes/carrots and cabbage. There was a whole tray of rye bread and a half tray of irish soda bread. Everyone had plenty to eat and took home doggie bags!! The food was delicious. I highly recommend this place and the owner Steve. Can't say enough about this experience. Awesome! read more

LOVE. Ordered delivery at work and this place surpassed my expectations by a long shot. I ordered the zucchini fries and the brie, chicken, apple and greens wrap. Everything showed up hot and crispy. Office orders lunch from here for some reason on "special occasions".. birthdays and whatnot. Yeh... the steak/beef wraps are always overcooked to thin strips of RUBBER. As good as the menu sounds (which it really does), the quality of the food is sub-par, if you're expecting anything more than just the idea of "gourmet" food. The ONLY plus I can give is on their french fries. They are always nice golden and crispy. But other than that... there really isn't anything more to say. I don't know if dining there would be any better, but as far as their delivery lunch service goes.. it just plain SUCKS. read more

We used Delicious Moments for an 80+ guest holiday party we hosted at our house. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable as well. I highly recommend the sliced steak with mushrooms and the chicken skewers appetizer. The only thing I would leave off next time was the roasted veggie platter, which was totally untouched because our guests were far more interested in the meat options. Delicious Moments also arranged for waiters/bartenders and they were great as well. Very professional and even cleaned my entire kitchen before they left. Today my office decided to order lunch from delicious moments, food was fantastic, service not so much. When placing the order, the man who answered the phone stated that we were "wasting his time" by having 5 separate orders, each on card. I also am a manager for a catering deli/gourmet store and i personally, would be appalled by my employees response to providing a service. I'm curious if you get just as pissed off when five customers come in, and all pay with card? Sucks that the food was good, but service was poor... makes you never want to order from them again. And not for nothing, it's 2019 people like to use cards to document their spending, having five peoples orders on one card, could impact that individuals budget (if applicable) or totals for the end of the month/year. :) read more

We used Delicious Moments Catering for our wedding this past Saturday, June 2nd and I must say that they definitely live up to their name! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and our guests gave us nothing but rave reviews about the food! On top of that, Steven was great to work with throughout the entire process, making sure every little detail was perfect for us. From having extra appetizers delivered to our party bus at the church for us and the bridal party to arranging a waitstaff for us to have at the venue for our event, every aspect of the day was first class and right on schedule. The waitstaff was very professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We will definitely use Delicious Moments again for future events that we might need catered and we are already recommending them to all of our family and friends! Ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich with fries and was very disappointed. The chicken was chewy like rubbery like cheap frozen grilled chicken strips that you microwave up. Couldn't even eat it. Surprised to see such bad reviews. The food here is great. My favorites are the portobello and steak quesadilla and the honey mustard chicken fingers. I love how they give you a little sample of their pasta salad of the day with some of the take out options. The French fries are also really really good. Whatever you get you won't be disappointed. My job orders here for lunch from time to time. They are two towns away and still come faster than some of the places we order from that are down the block. Definitely give them a try. read more

My family has been using Delicious Moments for the last year or two for the jewish holidays when we have a big group. We had them cater last week for Rosh Hashana and they were great as usual. I was eating leftovers the next day and looking at places to deliver for Yom Kippur for another big group (we usually get it from a local bagel place). I had not realized in addition to the food being good how cheap they are compared to other caterers. My favorites from rosh hashana were the sweet potato latkes. So good! read more

Steve and his company came through for my wedding when our original caterer backed out. Although I am not local to Baldwin, and neither was my venue, I got a recommendation to use him from a friend. I could not have been happier with the quality of service and tastiness of food!! He worked with me the whole way, and was extremely reasonably priced. Our guest raved over the food (in fact we are still having people ask us where it came from!). He provided not only the food, but all serving vessels and utensils, as well as plates, utensils, napkins, etc. Only downside was travelling the next day from Huntington to Baldwin to drop off the hotboxes which he loaned us, but it was well worth the drive!! TO BE FAIR... I am reviewing solely on delivered luncheon wraps platters, which have been gifted to us quite a few times at my office for lunch. They look beautiful, have a pretty good variety, but when it comes to eating them, they are a bit tastless. Today's variety includes: turkey /bacon, ham/cheese, grilled veggie, chicken caesar, and eggplant. If I were blindfolded. I dont think I could ID which was which. It's a good idea, and beautiful presentation, but the wraps are all mayonaised up - and soggy. Like they were made yesterday. They are sitting on a bed of curley lettuce that is not so easy to separate from the wraps. I am not a big fan of the deli-slicer sliced iceberg lettuce in a sandwich either. If you HAD to order from here - May I suggest you ask for 'dressings on the side' that may help. The accompanying salads are ok - a bit more interesting than regular potato or macaroni salad, but still nothing to write home about. When we asked for extra pickles, we got the same amout of pickles cut up smaller. THAT RIGHT THERE was the difference between 2 stars and three. As I look around at my co-workers plates, we all have unwrapped wraps with the middles picked out. At least there are frilly toothpicks to do this with. read more
