    (literal translation: fish bread)

Had a hankering for the fish-bread so decided to try. Very affordable at $2 a piece. Outside is crunchy and inside is filled with red beans. Yummy! Wish they had more you buy more you save kind of a deal. I tried this first in LA and they had value deals.

Bungeoppang, or tayaki, or red bean filled fish cake pastry is the hot item from this little food stall in the Lotte grocery store complex. Hot off the grill, the pastry is crispy on the outside and warm and chewy on the inside. The red bean paste is perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. At $2 a piece, it's a good deal to tie your hunger over until you get home with your groceries. Currently do not have the J shaped ice cream thing, the owner said something to do with covid? Oh well, will just have to come back for it later!

I'm addicted !!! What a find....love this place! Fresh... If you are looking for authentic Asian bakery....this is a must go.... Fish w red bean - Delish- I come here once a week... All the bakery goods are fresh and so yummy... Do your stomach a favor...and come feed your belly

It looks better than what it actually tastes. First off, they have a ton of sample spoons next to the ice cream but get really angry and say no if you ask for a sample. I went ahead and tried it out anyways...come to find the cute little fish cone/bread is actually frozen and hard. They pre-preserve it for their own convenience so I couldnt actually eat it which was sad. I enjoyed the custard in the inside, definitely not worth trying again, especially considering their horrible customer service!

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

My new favorite style of doughnuts!…read more Was close by for work and yelping when I found this hidden gym. Store was empty and clean...the lady working today, was very helpful and patient as I reviewed the menu. The day before I had a Ube Matcha, however here, they had both on the menu, but not an option to purchase together. I explained the drink I was going for and showed the lady a pic and she whipped it right up for me! Ube Matcha with oat milk...10/10 Now to the doughnuts. The Mochi Style doughnuts are so so yummy!!! They remind me of chewy little funnel cakes. I've been on a mission to find these closer ever since and just can't seem to find a spot! But maybe that's a great thing! Hahaaaa!!! Happy Yelping!

I love how they're made with little balls because it's the perfect way to try every single one. My tip is to tear a ball size off each donut you get and eat it. Everyone with you can follow suit after you (ha ha). In all seriousness, tearing a ball piece off the donut allows you and everyone with you to try all of the flavors you choose. You'll find yourself enjoying each bite and picking your favorite out of the bunch. My family and I eat mochi donuts like this and we all chat about which one we like amongst other topics. My favorite is the ube. Elli mochi also has Korean hotdogs so be prepared to forced to make a decision - donuts or hotdogs. Or both!
