Ryan at Kwik Fix SAVED MY WEEKEND…read more And a LOT OF $$..... really! So I was on my laptop, (well, the laptop was on me) and got a pop-up saying I needed to download the latest Adobe, and I did. Turns out, it wasn't a real Adobe notification; damn, these viruses are good! Within an hour, I had all sorts of pop-ups and was swearing up a storm.... and I need my laptop! What's a girl to do??? Staples charges $150 just for you to walk in the door and diagnose the problem so figure $175-200 once you are done with them. I did a Google search (with 10 pop-ups, of course) and found Ryan. He called me right back, I met him later on, handed him off my laptop at 4:30 PM on a Saturday and said how much I needed it. 9:00 the next morning he calls to tell me it's done!! Seriously, he had to sleep too.... and it is done. And it's an $80 FLAT FEE for virus removal... take that, Staples! Ryan is nice, so call him up right now, and he really is the "Kwik Fix"!! :)

(The one I had was purchased with credit and I was already paying monthly for it)! I took it into Mad Macs with no hope that anything could be done. Since it was still under warranty, the man who helped me said that he could replace the motherboard and other fried parts for me, and that act of kindness saved my life. I still think about it every now and again, which is why I'm leaving this review. When you leave a computer for repair, instead of saying he'll notify you when it's done like any…read moredecent repair business, he tells you to come back on a future day, and when you do the repair is not done and he gives you another day, and again it is not done, etc. as many as 4 times. The last time I brought in a computer that my monitor didn't work with and when he finally claimed it was done he also claimed he had done something to the USB ports and charged me for both. When I got home it turned out he didn't do anything about the monitor problem, and I don't believe he did anything to the USB ports, there was nothing wrong with them to begin with and I didn't authorize him to mess with them. It was a lie he made up to jack up the amount of his bill. In fact he didn't do anything at all with my computer but took my money. Unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest, worst repair shop I've ever used.
