I purchased a 2010 Taurus SHO in March 2017 with 74k miles from their Connelsville location. I was…read moretold by a sales manager it was a Certified Pre-Owned. Now the car has 83k miles and is need of a new engine according to Suppes Ford in Johnstown. I gave Davies a call and he says the car was not a CPO and that anything older than 5 years isn't even eligible and completely denies the claim. Why would I make that up? Also, I traded in a Honda Civic when I got the SHO, and part of the deal was they were going to give me the remote start out of the Civic back but it would take a day or two. So I left and made the hour plus drive home. Fast forward a week, no starter. I give them a call and they said they have it and will mail it out soon. Fast forward a week and nothing. I call again and they inform that sales person has quit and they will have to look for it. The next day they find and and the sales manager says he'll mail it out tomorrow. Fast forward a week I call and that sales manager has also quit and they can't find it but will look for it. Fast forward a few months and they still can't find it but do agree to put a new remote start on my SHO. So kudos there. Too bad it took a few months of back and forth to accomplish it. And lastly. 3 months after date of purchase I caused a door ding and called my insurance to see if I could get the ding fixed. They had no record of the SHO on my insurance. I thought perhaps I had dropped the ball on this but I had always had the dealership add the car when you're doing the final paperwork. So I called the dealership and asked to talk to a sales manager but didn't give him my name or told him what was going on. I proceeded to just ask him "if I purchase a used vehicle do you or I add the car to my insurance?" He of course tells me what I already suspect and it's them who had the car during the final paperwork. So ya, they dropped the ball not me. I just talked to Jim Davies and he denies absolutely everything I told him and claims everything is something I had done incorrectly. So as I may be a complete stranger on facebook, but if you're thinking of buying a vehicle with Davies please read the rest of reviews of this place. Obviously it's level of shadiness is way above average.

Be Advised! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!…read more Car dealers already have a pretty bad rap. Sometimes there are actually ethical folks but mostly car sales staff garner a bad reputation all on their own. C. Harper Buick is one with an extremely poor reputation. Don't be fooled by the fact that they are Chevy/Buick dealer;their customer service is one of the worst I have encountered. We are in a tough market with a limited amount of inventory. This gives the dealers the upper hand. In my recent dealing with these folks, I was paying their asking PLUS all of their extra fees. Some of these, I later discovered, were actually illegal to pass onto the customer. Nonetheless, at the time, I was prepared to pay all. After "VERY" poor customer service from Dave O'Brien in sales who claimed to sell many vehicles to out of state customers however his performance showed that he really didn't know what he was talking about. I was ready to sign all documents and come get the vehicle which would have required a flight and long Uber ride to get there. At the very last minute, Dave O'Brien and his General Manager Michael Naretto, pulled the plug on the sale by stating that we could not purchase the car unless we used their financing. Now already had a new loan ready to go that was almost 3 points lower than what they offered. This was the last straw and I very happily walked away from this sale which was no deal at all. It made me wonder as well, "Was there something really wrong with this vehicle, after they already lied multiple times throughout the process?". Doing alittle of research, I discovered that what I was told was actually illegal in their fees and processes. They have since been reported to the state attorney general's office. Lastly and as a reminder, these folks are unethical, fraudulent scam artists. I would avoid buying or taking my vehicle there at all costs. If I was the owner, These two, Michael and Dave would be out on the street.

Coleen and the staff went out of their way to have the car washed and positioned indoors in the service department. This was especially well received, as the weather was cold with snow flurries. The car was exactly as advertised and priced VERY competitively compared to over 100 Fusions we had reviewed in person or online. Coleen was well prepared for the sale and secured a much lower interest rate than we had been pre-approved for by our lender. This represented additional value over and above the lower car price. This experience was low key, no pressure, no games and represented one of the BEST car buying experiences we have ever had! We would not hesitate to purchase another car from Ranker Lincoln.
