Pretty scary process to consider at my age, but the folks at Dello Russo did everything to make me feel comfortable. Free consultation, all of my options were listed out and very low pressure for me to commit to the process. Received a discount for paying cash. Day of, I admit I was nervous, I was walked through it again, and all my questions were answered. Not saying it was fun, but it worked great, and I can't imagine how it could have been done any better. Reading my own review without glasses, haven't been able to do that for 35 years. read more

I was there about 3 months ago, after being referred by my cousin. Everyone there was really nice, especially security guard looking Michael. He looks like he's a security guard from a bar or something. They explained everything to me and answered my list of questions. I scheduled my appoint for the following week. They also offer 0% financing for 2 years. I went in the following week. I had major anxiety, they were able to calm me down. I went into the room where the procedure was done and was finished maybe a minute later. I walked out seeing really good without my glasses. I live about an hour away, my eyes we're tearing and burning a bit on the way home. I got home 6 and feel asleep. I woke up around 11 and was practically 100%. I stayed up for a while and watched TV. To my surprise,(security guard looking) Michael texted me to see if was ok. I followed the recovery instructions to a T. Three months later, I'm healed 100%. Sure, they bang the people out. I don't look at that as an assembly line, I look at it as they mastered what they do. I wish I could give these guys 10 stars. I highly recommend them. They suck. I've tried them again and again for over 20 years, first time even met with Dello Russo the father (that's how long ago it was), and every time I regret it, then I fall into it again. They overcharge, give cost misleading info over the phone, treat you like you're on an assembly line, they just suck. This time I went there, found out at the reception that they mislead me, and just said cancel my appointment and bye bye. read more

I went in there to do a simple contact lens exam and get contacts, but I went through so much trouble to make sure they billed me correctly. According to my insurance policy, I was completely covered for both exam and lens. I went in there having done my research on what my insurance would pay. But the trouble I had trying to get the front desk staff to understand my coverage was like none other. She was 'so sure' of my coverage more than I was and gave me such a hard time about it that I had to call my insurance company and have them speak to the office directly. I am so glad I stood my ground because the pushback I got was so much that -if I had any doubt about my coverage or if what I had come in for was a more complicated procedure - they would've had me pay out-of-pocket for things that I was completely covered for. It was really exhausting. I just thought what if it had been my dad in my place standing there -trying to explain this- my dad with the language barrier and is bilingual in a language that is Not Spanish. Just know your coverage when you go and stick to your guns. They would've had me pay hundreds out of my pocket if I had not done so. It's sad. read more

Waited 2.5hrs for a free appointment based consultation and was referred to a specialist the following week. At the second appointment, I waited 1hr after my appointment time and still wasn't seen which I paid for. What is the point to have an appointment time if they are so inaccurate? Today I left without being seen and asked for a refund. Very poor service. Can't trust a group to keep a reasonable appointment time, never mind any surgery down the line. read more

Of course, just like everyone in the tristate area i heard about Dello Russo Laser Vision from the radio and for years i have been wanting to get lasik done because i have terrible allergies and my contacts irritated my eyes more and more every day. A while ago i went in for a consultation else where and they told me i needed to treat my eyes for about a month before i can get the surgery and i just wasn't too comfortable / didn't want to wait all that time. I kept putting it off and I finally decided to come in for the free consultation and they told me I can get the surgery tomorrow if i wanted to - i was so relived to hear i didn't need to treat my eyes a month before hand. I decided to go along with the surgery after my consultation with Dr. Mike. Beforehand Dr. Mike explained everything to me, straight and to the point, told me all the bullet points i needed to know and be aware of. the surgery itself felt like it took 10 seconds and it was done and over with. The same day of the surgery i left on vacation and i couldn't have been any happier. I just had to wear a hat and sunglasses most of the day but i seriously could not believe how quick the procedure was, how fast the healing process took, and how straight and to the point everything was. Dr. Mike gave me his number for any questions or concerns i had after the surgery and when i texted him he responded immediately. Btw, Margarita was incredible as well! The reason im giving them 4 stars is because i feel like they are highly successfully and their offices are constantly packed - and with a business that is bringing in this much clients you would think they would be a bit more attentive to their patients. After the surgery there are follow up visits and i completely forgot about my visit and i didn't receive a phone call as a reminder so you would think they would care a bit more considering before i paid and got the surgery they were constantly sending emails and follow ups but i guess once they get your money they start to not care about their patients. read more

a few year ago I when for a surgery; De la Russo son did it. They said after 24 hour you will be able to work, I couldn't work the next day and my left side eye was irritated and swollen. In the follow check they said everything was ok, but I wasnt ( the vision was not what they said, reading with out glasses) They decided to re do it ( the father did it) and it never work. Today after 10 year of the surgery I am wearing glasses and suffer a dried eyes. Definitely not recommend Dr De la Russo. read more

Omg where do I start? I went there with an emergency eye situation, and it was good. Had to make a follow-up, and here is where things get strange. I couldn't get in contact with them. They would txt me to make an appointment and then never answer the phone. I made an appointment online, but they directed me to the Lazer Center. I just wanted an exam. Called today just to talk to someone and got hung up on. They are nuts and unprofessional. Take your chances if you want. There are too many places in the area. read more

Got tired of wearing contacts and glasses for the last 18 years of my life so I decided to finally go for surgery. I'm glad I did. The process was quick and painless and now I wish I had done it sooner. I got surgery exactly a year ago now. I had a bit of dry eye during recovery and I noticed that on occasion during long work days my eyes would also feel fatigued. But it went away with drops and after a while the long days were no problem for my eyes. Now a year later the results have stuck and I have 20/20 vision and no longer need eyewear or plastic in my eyes. read more

the front desk staff is very friendly. however the PA & RN are too eager to get your payment and they don't pre-qualify you for payment plans until the day of the procedure so you can get your hopes up assuming you're approved only to find out theres an application and credit process for approval. not explained in initial consultation. the RN pretends to give you a discount but ultimately its coupon from the radio station. i felt a bit pressured/rushed into making the decision. also state in their handouts that the dello russo father/sons would perform the procedures but youll get a different doctor when you arrive. personally i dont like being lied to. read more

Just left the office and would like to express my disbelief with the lack of care and respect. I got LASIK done with Dr. Dello Russo back in 2016 and had a great experience however, my vision started to go bad again and I decided to come back here so I could get an enhancement. This so called "Dr." which I didn't get the name (not Dello Russo) walks in the room with headphones in his ears, chewing gum, phone rang a couple times and after a little exam he tells me "yeah u could benefit from a little touch up" mind you my vision is -1.00. I asked a few questions, for which he had no straight answers and avoided eye contact. When I asked for pricing he told me $1500 per eye for a surgery that according to him is less invasive and just a touch up. So I proceeded to tell him I didn't think was going to be so much when my vision wasn't as bad as it was the first time (-4.75) and I only paid $1800 per eye, he said well "you got a bargain because now we charge 3300 per eye and the radio discount is for first time only (I never asked for the radio discount)" I said "ok I'll have to weight in my options then and as I was going to ask another question he got up and said "ok! give us a call if you decide anything" and walked away. After all that I walked away as well without saying another word. My decision? I will look for a place where people actually care about their patients and not only their money. Shame because Dr. Dello Russo was amazing with me the first time to bad he has unprofessional, arrogant staff. Ps. Back when I did my first surgery they harassed me to give them a Five star review. read more

I was here yesterday for a consultation. When I read the reviews I thought I was going to wait long. I didn't; I made an appointment for 3:30pm and I think they called me in a little after I read and signed some papers. The secretary was nice too but I did forget her name. First I met with Margarita. She was awesome and she made me feel comfortable. She took pictures of my eyes. Then I met with Mike, he was cool and made me feel comfortable as well. He examined my eyes, like a regular eye doctor. Then I met with Dr. Dello Russo ( the og ) we spoke and he said which procedure was good for me and why it was good for me and why I should get this procedure. I felt super comfortable talking to him as well. He examined my eyes too and the back of my eyes. We spoke more about what he does and he also mentioned his sons. Then I met Ahmed. He was also super nice. The whole office team were awesome. Before I came here I went to two other places which were Manhattan Lasik Center and Norden Laser vision. They were both good but not good enough for me to do my eyes there. I felt more comfortable and more confident with Dello Russo lasik center (In Bergenfield) Plus I wanted it to be somewhere close to me. Dello Russo will be on vacation soon so I made sure I caught him before he leaves. My procedure will be on June 21st, 2019. I will update this in 3 months from that date. Wish me luck! read more

I had the BEST experience with everyone at Dello Russo Laser Vision! I had my laser eye surgery on August 11, 2020. I was nervous initially but as soon as I sat down for my consultation, the staff and doctors answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. They explained the procedure, prep and post care in detail. The day of my surgery, everyone was so attentive to my needs, questions and concerns. They took many measurements and checked everything several times to make sure everything was accurate and ready to go. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Jeffrey Dello Russo do my surgery. He made the whole process easy and made me feel as calm as I could be (for having eye surgery). The surgery was quick and easy. Michael is my post surgery contact. He gave me his cell number and I can contact him with any questions at any time (which I have and he has been in great communication with me about my post surgical care!). Everything from pre-surgery requirements, to day of surgery requirements and post-surgery requirements was explained to me in great detail. I couldn't be happier with the experience and I will be grateful forever for the doctors and medical staff there that cared for me leading up to and after my surgery. I went from being basically legally blind to having almost perfect 20/20 vision. This has changed my life and I can't thank everyone at Dello Russo Laser Vision enough. The greediness here is quite evident in its lack of amenities. Examples: no hand towels in bathroom so people don't have to touch bathroom door handles. The hand dryers are old & low power puffing. No working water cooler in main surgery waiting area. They offer a pot of coffee with powdered creamer. Even my car dealership service department offers liquid creamer. This is a busy practice with other offices. I've been here approx. 4-5 times to escort someone getting treated here. Its a mill! They're bringing in money. Treat your patients with a little more respect. read more

In Sept 2021 I decided I was done with contacts and glasses. My current eyeglass prescription was -5.50/-5.50. I opted in for Lasik with Dr. Dello Russo because a family member used them 10 years ago and still has no complication. The consultation took about 15 minutes with all questions asked and the next day I had the procedure. They were quick and efficient. I was given an anti-anxiety pill prior to the procedure and it took in total about 5 minutes. I didn't feel a thing. After I the anesthetic wore off there was moderate burning/stinging and eye watering for only that night (I took Advil and would recommend taking something similar before the anesthetic wears off). My vision was IMMEDIATELY corrected- i personally had no blurred vision either. Today I did my one year follow up and I still have 20/15 vision. The doctors and staff are all professional, timely and nice. This was the BEST decision I've ever made for my vision and would 100% make this decision again. read more
