We made a stop here for some wine and to enjoy the beauty on Sunday, and it was an amazing time. We…read morewere seated right away and our server was Jenna. We tried a few different flights of wine and flat breads and enjoyed the beautiful view of the vineyard. The place is truly breathtaking, and at the time, they had live music playing outside. Jenna made some very good recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. ::Caution:: I still gave this place 5 stars because this has nothing to do with the service or the quality of the food or location, but we were picturing a nice, calm brunch, sipping on wine, not a Chuck E Cheese experience. Apparently, we were upgraded to the deluxe Chuck E Cheese package and were seated around lots of parents who decided to bring their young kids to a vineyard. The kids were running wild around tables and crying and screaming. Not one parent corrected their kids' behavior and just let them run around like free-range chickens. There were also people complaining that there were no non alcoholic drinks that they wanted at a vineyard. When I went inside there seemed to be no kids indoors. While another group could not control their kids and kept knocking things off the table, including glasses of wine. No one seemed to mind outdoors because most of the people had young kids, so be warned that this may be a possibility, so research your days before you go. Overall, if you remove the kids running wild and crying, the service was fantastic, the wine was good, lots of parking, the ambiance was incredible, and the food was good.

The atmosphere was cozy and charming, and it was the perfect spot to unwind with a great glass of wine. We're already looking forward to coming back during the winter months (as long as they're open!) because this place just has that special vibe that makes you want to return again and again.

The entire staff at Dellwood went above and beyond to make our wedding reception something from a storybook. From initial brainstorming, through detailed planning, and to eventually executing, every single detail was thought through brilliantly. We continue to get comments routinely about how fun and beautiful the weekend was at Dellwood. Dellwood offers a tremendous amount of service to make sure each couple gets exactly what they hope for. Even more, they take care of anything and everything they are tasked with, taking initiative to offer solutions rather than just a list of potential issues. I specifically want to complement Bry, the event coordinator. She is a master of her craft and made our day perfect. When planning a wedding at Dellwood, know you are in the best of hands. The food and drinks were incredible. During the welcome happy hour, champagne and hors d'oeuvres were offered to all the guests while a jazz quartet played. One of the best features was lobster grilled cheeses! For dinner, we served wedge salads followed by a surf-and-turf with filet mignons and crab cakes. The dinner was fantastic- and every guest thoroughly enjoyed it. Late night, we served fair food which featured corn dogs and pizza, etc. to send guests home full! We offered an open bar- several bartenders made sure that no line was ever formed- they moved quickly. The events Dellwood offered us allowed us to have a full-on wedding weekend rather than a single night. On the day prior, we had a lunch buffet at the pool cabanas, giving us the opportunity to welcome guests from out of town. On the morning of, the groomsmen and I all enjoyed a fantastic breakfast on the patio. On the evening of the wedding, we had a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, a lovely surf-n-turf dinner, hours of dancing, and late-night snacks to send everyone home. Fireworks over the course ended the evening perfectly. The event space itself was my favorite. Our wedding took place on a beautiful summer evening in July. With the sun setting over the golf course, the scenes of everyone in their black-tie attire standing on the balcony and on the green grass was picturesque. Guests flowed in and out of the reception dining hall and the outside. The flowers and landscaping at Dellwood in July are beautiful. In the reception hall, there was plenty of room for our 250+ guests, with a full 7-piece band performance with plenty of dancing. What they offer at Dellwood Country Club is truly unmatched. I cannot more highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. You will never regret it.

I have never experienced anything like that. I guess you have to work with minimal space. Maybe have your main event there but not your entire wedding. I went through their wedding website and it looks like for entertainment as well as other things you have to choose from a specific group of vendors. I don't know why but their DJ can't get enough of himself. The man will not stop talking. Every intro for daddy and daughter dance, etc. had a 5-10 minute discussion from him. People were complaining that he needed to just get straight to the point. When I asked the bar tender about it, he said, Yeah I work a lot of events with this guy and he doesn't shut up. It wasn't just me. lol And the music was lame. I'm sure it was the wedding party's choice. It was more like singalong music and not dancing music. Why even have a dance floor? I'd take the DJ off the vendor list quick.

All three staff were super friendly. The event space and layout are really nice and comfortable. I really like the upstairs, there is the big event space but if you continue on to the bar area, there is more seating, a place to hang out that gives you a little more space to have quieter conversations. The outside: garden area is cute and quaint. I didn't ask about them but they had some really cute...inventive(?) table that were like wagon wheel tables... it was all very....vintage. Great venue with fantastic staff! Thanks for a wonderful wedding & reception event, Kellerman's! Cheers

I have not met someone who is more understanding, professional, diligent, and calming. We had a large wedding of over 300 people and they all fit wonderfully. We were able to utilize the gorgeous outdoor garden for our wedding ceremony as well as our social hour. I was worried when I looked at the outdoor space, that not all 300+ guests would fit, or that it would be crammed and uncomfortable. However, it exceeded our expectations! The flowers were beautiful, the white gazebo was so pretty against the dark green grass, and bright flowers. The outdoor area, was really beautiful and fit our summer garden themed wedding. We were able to have an outdoor bar in the garden for guests to use and mingle as they walked around and enjoyed the summer evening. With 300+ people, space was very important for us. We needed an space that would fit that many people, but also allow enough room for guests to move around. The last thing we wanted was for them to be crammed in and tripping over chairs to get a drink. The ballroom accommodated them beautifully. The dance floor is HUGEE!!! Something like 2,000 sq feet! But believe me, our guests used it! The dance floor was always filled with people young and old. It was nice to have enough room for everyone to dance around. No one stepping on others feet. Another important aspect to us, was the bars! Of course! We really did not want people to be waiting in long lines to get a beverage. Withrow has two bars, and both were fully staffed, and were able to serve our guests quickly and efficiently. Another great thing about Withrow is that it fits with almost every theme. We chose a summer-garden theme, with a flare. We did Blinged out vases, with LED lights inside, and hydrangeas. We had rose petal and diamond scatter, with black table clothes and white chair covers! It looked fabulous! I also saw pictures of other weddings with many different themes. One with a simple fall centerpiece, another glammed out. The Ballroom can adapt to any theme and blends in perfect to any decor. Overall, Withrow was the perfect venue for us, nothing too fancy or upitty, just a genuinely UNIQUE and historical venue. The best part is that ALL of our guests had a great time, and felt at home. I still don't think I have seen a wedding with more people on the dance floor with smiles on their faces. Any time multiple guests describe your wedding as "Magical" you know you did something right! Thanks Pam for all your help!
