Our house is in a very upscale community in Fountain Hills AZ. I engaged Frank and his team to install driveway pavers for a very steep driveway- the house is located on a mountainside- decking around the pool, landscaping and irrigation. The pool decking material-limestone tile- was moved from the cul sac in wheelbarrows and deposited in the pool since it could not be installed because of other construction activity. The decking material cracked as a result and Frank instructed the crew to install the cracked limestone tile and then insulted our intelligence and said that cracked tile is in vogue. Apparently Frank hired a crew "off the street" to do the work without any oversight from Greenscapes. Frank insisted on only replacing a certain number of limestone tiles and after a great deal of stress the pool decking was installed with creative direction from me. Second, the irrigation system was chewed up by the critters because Greenscapes apparently installed the rubber piping incorrectly. When I reached out Frank said too bad but "best practice was used" and he would be more than happy to quote a price to fix something Greenscapes did wrong in the first place. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM

When they did the original bid inspection, they didn't even come to the door. They instead looked over the wall and came up with a bid. Then, 2 days later, they texted and asked if we could send pics of the work to be done. THEY ARE NOT LICENSED ARBORIST on any level. Just some non english speaking guys with chainsaws. As an individual who was a contractor for many year and had a landscaping division of the company, I can tell you that this is the worst "Landscaping" company I've ever seen. I recommend highly that you stay away from these fraudsters. A complaint has been filed with the Register of Contractors. The following are complaints found about this particular Morales Landscaping: *Debris Management: Crews blowing leaves, grass clippings, or yard waste into neighboring yards or onto public streets. *Property Miscommunication: Cutting or trimming specific bushes and plants against the owner's direct instructions due to language or communication gaps. *Conduct and Cleanup: Instances of workers leaving trash or improper roadside dumping behavior in public areas.Communication: *Delays in response times for scheduling, estimates, or follow-up maintenance visits.

Two weeks ago, I move into my new house in the PebbleCreek 55+ community in Goodyear, AZ. My concern was that I felt the result was very different from what I hoped. I was disappointed. I hoped to have one of the nicest properties in the community, and instead I felt a little embarrassed. This is my fault, but I was out of the country for a couple of months while the company was doing the install, and I was too busy to give the project the careful thought that it required. After being in the house for one week, I decided that I was unhappy enough to be feel bad instead of happy about my new front and back yards. I decided to find another landscaper to totally redo the landscaping. I had seen the Desert Sage Landscaping truck several times over the past few months working on nicely landscaped properties (I rented a house in the community for 8 moths while they built my house). I liked what I saw. I talked with one of the guys and he took me to the owner, Miguel. I liked having the owner actively maintaining landscapes because that gave me confidence that he had a lot of practical, on the job experience with plants in our desert environment. I showed him my front and back yards and told him what I wanted done. I asked him about many plants that I liked and he told me what was good and what was bad. He was speaking from experience in maintaining so many properties. He gave me a plan within 24 hours and began a couple of days later. He and his crew spent about a week replacing the walkways and plants, and adding boulders, hills, irrigation, lights and many plants. The price was reasonable and the result is excellent.
