Despite repeated reports of turf damage caused by their equipment--including deep ruts and extensive lawn deterioration--Shortcutz failed to take responsibility or provide timely, professional repairs. Instead of communicating or proposing a real solution, they showed up unannounced and dumped dirt and grass seed into the damaged areas, leaving our community looking worse than before. Not only was this a substandard "fix," but they never asked for permission or provided a plan. It will take weeks for any grass to grow in--if it does at all--and the current state of the property is unacceptable for any professional landscaping company. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and complete disregard for industry best practices have left our Board with zero confidence in their ability to service any property--residential or commercial. Shortcutz may try to shift blame to weather or the client, but the pattern is clear: they underperform, deflect, and leave you cleaning up the mess. Do yourself a favor--look elsewhere. There are far more professional, responsive, and competent vendors available.

That didn't happen (red flag). Finally I get a scheduled appointment and after waiting all day, no one shows up! I get a text during thr evening with poor excuses and promises for an appointment the next day (flag). The landscaper shows up the next day and just starts work. While he is working I ask if he's aware of the hedge requirements and he say no but, he's got me. Seems to me a phone call should have made but, it wasn't. I go back into my home and when I return to outside of my home all of the hedges are trimmed going far beyond my original request. I received nothing in writing about up charges, pricing for services or at least a notification of the additional cost. Oh yeah the worker didn't know the parameters of the job to start with because there was nothing in writing! I paid the agreed upon price via an electronic invoice. Done deal, right ? I later received an additional invoice for over $200 more! Did I mention I'm a senior on a fixed income? Well I'm mention this to Moreno and Rose via text! Response: that's the price, gas and so on. Then was told I could arrange for a payment. Got some help from my friends and was able to pay the invoice. Late fees of over $60 were added! I DON'T RECOMMEND TO LLC!

The "oh well you signed the contract " statements were not warranted . I trusted a reputable company to guide a new customer. When my property was mapped out for fencing my irrigation system was there. No mention of needing to mark it out. On the date of install the forman stated he saw the irrigation system and that it wasn't mapped out. He started the job and notified me AFTER they punctured the system in ELEVEN places. I was rudely told the responsibility is my because I signed the contract. Would it have hurt to have mentioned IRRIGATION prior to starting the project? The contract mentioned UTILITIES. I didn't think of irrigation as such. Please have your irrigation system mapped out to avoid paying for a fence AND new irrigation!

I asked if he could stop by to give me a quote and I liked the service so I asked him if he could spruce up my lawn and he did it on the spot! He went above and beyond! He's affordable, dedicated, and does awesome work. Not only that, he gives advice as well. I bought quite a bit of product to maintain my lawn and I asked him what he thought.
