The dental team, Dr. Taylor and a PA, did their best to get my problem resolved, spent quite a bit of time with me setting up my status for a new, registered patient (Full X-rays and history). Their concern for my comfort was exceptional and unexpected - this practice is NOT like most dental practices that I've been to. I also noted that the entire staff, reception, billing, scheduling, assistant and the DMD herself were all smiling and, it seemed, happy to be working there and so welcoming to a new face. I'm sold. KNOWING my tooth was chipped, with a nerve exposed. They STILL sat me down in the office, overviewed my records, brought up my epilepsy...which they were fully aware of when I walked in, proceeded to take several X-rays, (which involved shoving hard metal into my mouth) ...and then refused to perform the procedure, because "what if you have a seizure on the table" and referring me to an orthodontist instead. Saying, and I quote, they "didn't have a crash cart" and "weren't equipped for these kinds of things". Even though both Florida and federal law states that they have to be. I will be filing a complaint with the DOH, and I've already filed with the Epilepsy Foundation. A Doctor that is so concerned with saving her own behind should know about ADA laws. This place is an insurance scam. Don't bother.

The staff was terrific. The dentist spoke to me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. He even argued with me after informing him I had two full hip replacements and was told I would always need to take antibiotics he suggested mouthwash use as a remedy to a throbbing tooth. Dr. Matilsky has taken care of my teeth and my wife's teeth, for almost 5 years now. (He found a very small particle that had worked itself between my nerve and my tooth, and by utilizing air pressure and careful probing, he dislodged the particle. Dr. Matilsky is very meticulous and careful when deciding upon a diagnosis and a course of action. He is conservative and will only drill, or begin treatment that is invasive when it is necessary. I drive a very long distance in order to obtain Dr. Matilsky's services, and he is a true professional in every aspect. In addition, the office staff, led by Debbie Matilsky is very professional and very accommodating, with the long term health of your entire person taken into account. They were very honest and let me know it was actually something else and not my tooth, which I really appreciated. I ended up having a few visits for other things, including a cleaning, and every single time the staff was very nice and welcoming. I had Dr. Habib, who was absolutely phenomenal. He's very kind, efficient, and clearly knows his stuff, which made me feel really comfortable. The office itself is clean, modern, and has state-of-the-art equipment. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the billing. A few times my insurance got mixed up, and while I was there, I noticed other patients coming in with billing concerns as well. To be fair, that could be more on the insurance side than the office, but it did cause some inconvenience. Overall, I would definitely recommend them and will continue going back!
