My friend highly recommended Delphi cafe because it is one of her favourite brunch places. It's located in Langley and is a small brunch spot. They have multiple seating areas but I wouldn't say it's a good place for a big crowd. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and were able to secure a table for 3 people within 15mins. To start off, I tried their mango fruit soda which was so refreshing and not too sweet. I would give it a 5/5! I also got their crispy shrimp burger (couldn't find it on their online menu) but it was SO good!! The patty was definitely crispy and the sauces in their made the taste so much better. My only complaint was that the buns were a bit too small for the patty so it was pretty messy eating it. I got it with a side of truffle fries which were also very good! They were thick, yet crispy. I tried their omelette as well which was cooked very well! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area!
Delphi Café is a marvelous establishment that made me glad I made the trip to Langley to try. For those that want to try this local business, I should warn you that there is a waiting period, where you have to keep your name in line. However, it is worth it. When I was seated, I ordered the Smoked Duck Breast Benedict and coffee. The benedict was great overall. The duck meat was exceptionally good if not a little chewy while the honey mustard helped add a vibrant flavour to the entrée. The hashbrowns were solid good and crunchy. The side of fruit were very fresh and juicy to eat. The coffee was great and I saw myself having a second cup. The establishment was mildly lit and clean; aspects I usually like in a restaurant. The service was excellent. I received my food what only seemed like minutes after ordering, and the servers were very perceptive to my needs. Besides waiting, I had a great time at Delphi's, and I hope to come back there very soon to try something new.
Super busy small cafe in Langley. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The food was out of the ordinary and blew my expectations. Absolutely delicious. However, their hollandaise sauce is so mustardy that u WILL have burning sensation in your stomach after a few hours. So either pass the sauce or I had a glass of Indian buttermilk to help me ease the heat & mind you I am a spicy (very hot) eater. Will I go back? Maybe not sure. But should you go and experience the food once, hell yes!
This is always my go to Brunch spot when I head to Langley. It is very causal, relax and down to earth. The staff are efficient, polite and always greet with a smile. The place is always with a waitlist of guests coming in. So make sure you are there early. Potion of food is great. As a lady, I may want to get the half size and not to waste the food unless you are not going to have dinner.i personally LOVE their Rose latte a lot.
Be amazed and then some! FOOD The food here is top notch. We ordered quite a few different dishes and each is better than the previous. Unfortunately I only taken few photos but all look and tasted amazing! We gotten the Japanese Omurice and Pork ribs Benedict. The Omurice was phenomenal. Savory yet not salty. The added hot dogs adds a great amount of texture and flavor. The pork ribs Benedict was tender and falls right off the bone. The egg Benedict was a bit too buttery for my liking but it's overall a great dish nonetheless. SERVICE The service here is fantastic as well. As a tourist visiting from the states. The hosts are a lot more friendlier. The restaurant is relatively small but fits a good amount of people. The ambiance is pretty chill, it feels like your typical brunch cafe! ALL IN ALL, solid food, solid service, can't wait to recommend others when they visit Langley or Vancouver in general!
Run, don't walk, to this place! LOVED our food and the staff were friendly. We waited for 40mins as it was a Sunday, but we didn't mind. Make sure to call ahead and find out the wait time because they'll be busy on a weekend for sure. It's a small place but they have a long table in the middle to accommodate large groups. You MUST try the caramelized banana French toast! It was DELICIOUS! I also ordered an oat milk latte and it was yummy. The other dishes we ordered were the fried chicken Benny, chicken Alfredo pasta, Japanese omurice, and one of the bowls. Will need to come back and order the French toast again
@delphicafe_ Very seldom do I drive into Langley. Luckily this time, I was introduced to brunch at Delphi Cafe! As I stepped in, the interior was not at all what I had expected. The waiters were extremely tentative and friendly as well. Already a bonus right there! My friend has been here several times & would order the fried chicken bennies every single time-- it's that good! I got the fried chicken pancakes. It wasn't what I had expected. Instead of the normal fried chicken you'd expect for brunch, it reminds me of Korean yangnyeom chicken. The taste of the chicken and the pancakes were good on their own, but I wasn't quite feeling it as a combination. There were three pancakes stacked together and it was quite heavy. The proportion of chicken to pancake was a little off-- it didn't bother me though, I just had a hard time finishing everything. I think if the pancakes were less thick (maybe it's just their style??), it's be a better combo with the chicken. I also got a yuzu latte, and it's what you'd expect. But because it was so simple, it hit the spot and my sweet tooth at the same time!! One of the waitresses (owner I believe..?) heard me coughing (I was just choking on my food lol) and took initiative to bring me a warm cup of lemon water really warmed my heart.
It's a cute little cafe with lots of locals visiting there. We got there around 12:30pm on a Saturday, and put the name on the waiting list. The wait was around 30 - 40 minutes, which was pretty long in my opinion. However, it's understandable giving it's a brunch place on a weekend, it gets busy as predicted. Once we sat down, the waiter brought us the menu. They have a variety of options, not only breakfast but also lunch options. I ordered a coffee latte, which came pretty quick. The temperature was just right, and the leaf art on the foam was very pretty. I had eggs already for breakfast, so I picked the spicy Philly cheese steak with side salad for lunch. The portion is pretty big, and the sandwich tasted great, not too greasy, with the right amount of cheese and beef. I was surprised by how spicy it was. I understand I ordered a spicy version, but I wasn't expecting it to be 8/10 spicy level. Overall, I enjoyed the lunch and service. Staff were friendly and quick when we needed the service. I would go back if I didn't live too far away from ot. If any of you are in the area and don't mind the wait, feel free to stop by, you won't be disappointed.
Got here at 9am on a Friday as I've heard this place is very busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great selection of breakfast foods. We had the Chicken French Toast and the Omelette. The chicken was done Katsu-style and it was delicious. Didn't think the arugula would work on top but it does! Portions are huge so come hungry!
I've always thought of Langley as a little bit of a culinary wasteland... but Delphi is an oasis. What a lovely spot! Someone in a previous review described it as "brunch with a Korean twist," and they were spot on. The portions were massive, and the flavours were fun. The prices were also quite reasonable for the amount that you get. I also appreciated the service. I was trying to arrange for a large group (8-10 people) to go to Delphi, and when I called about half an hour in advance, the staff member said that they don't take reservations but that she'd try to put a table aside for us. We were seated immediately when we arrived just before a big lunch rush. I really appreciated that she went above and beyond for us.

A nice small family run brunch place in Langley. I'm not in Langley too often so this was a great find. I'm not sure when they opened but when I attempted to add their location to an Instagram post, but Instagram couldn't find it. They do have an Instagram account. I ordered the cured salmon benedict with hash browns. The cured salmon was delicious and fresh. The egg yolk was just right: a nice slow runny yolk that didn't just go all over the place and not overdone that it tasted chalky. The hash brown was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I was surprised it wasn't that busy but I guess it's still new. The staff was attentive and pleasant to talk to. The decor is simple and a bit rustic. It felt like a brunch place. I would definitely recommend this place if you're by Willowbrook and want a nice brunch. read more

What a great find! I was looking for a place to have brunch with my family and saw this place on Yelp. Really enjoyed the food and service here. Our server took our order for 4 people without writing anything down and everything everything came up right. There's an Asian touch to the food and the food they serve, it's a great fusion of west meeting the Far East. The portions are also huge. I couldn't eat everything. Had a side order of pancakes thinking they would be regular ones but when they came up they were huge and fluffy, so tasty! Will definitely be back again now that we've discovered this gem of a place. The lunch and dinner menus looked good as well. read more

Good place for breakfast in you're in Langley. My family was in Langley for a wedding, we were pretty disappointed in most of the places we ate. But Delphi was a pleasant surprise. There is a wait. So plan for that. We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday and waited for about 40 minutes. When we arrived there were other guests waiting who assured us that the food is worth the wait. This place has loyal customers. Once we were seated the waiter was helpful and gave good suggestions. He told us about the huge portion sizes, but we didn't believe him-- we should have believed him! Lol we ordered so much food. The portion sizes are HUGE. Definitely worth the cost. The flavors are also pretty good. We weren't a fan of the fried chicken. And the pancakes had chopped onions on top of them. It's not a deal breaker, but was unexpected. We got pretty standard entrées- French toast, pancakes, sausage, omelette. Wish we tried one of their signature eggs benedicts. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in Langley again. read more

Very cute and aesthetically pleasing! The servers are very kind and nice, but the interactions were very short, even when it wasn't busy. Next is food!! My partner and I are eggs benedict connoisseurs if you will and enjoyed what they had to offer! I will admit, it wasn't the best I've had. Here's the breakdown: Avocado Eggs Benedict -- I ordered this dish! It had lovely flavours and the poached eggs were both places in the hole of half an avocado, so an entire avocado altogether! Which amazes me especially because it was so cheap. However, the eggs were slightly overdone and the amount of hollandaise given was lacking. I like to dip my potatoes in whatever remains from the hollandaise and the yolk but i had to order some extra hollandaise just to do that! :( (They didnt charge me for extra tho which was great!) And the topping was very little, literally 3 tiny pieces of diced tomato. I expected more but I hate being too picky about these things! (but let's be real, i'm a full on Karen when it comes to my eggs benny ) Hot Chocolate -- Very average, nothing stood out about this drink! But tasteful nonetheless Smoked Salmon & Guac Benny - My partner LOVED this combo. He said it was some of the best smoked salmon he has had in awhile. It was smoked just right, whereas some restaurants have toned it down on that flavour component. Not this place!! He got it with the hash browns which were nice n buttery, he liked it a lot! This has become my new favorite brunch restaurant in the langley area. Every dish is made to order and is super fresh and absolutely delicious. My favorite plate here is the, of course, the traditional benny. Thick slice Ham and perfectly toasted English Muffin and a perfect hollandaise sauce. I thought that would have been my brunch meal but then...wait for it...I saw fried chicken on the menu as a side dish. I had to order that as with my love for fried chicken. The chicken was made so well. The meat was juicy, not dry at all and the crispiness of that batter was on point. I highly recommend you visit Dephi's Brunch Cafe. This is my third time coming here and it's never a disappointment! The portion is really big and worth it! The customer service is great. Everyone who works here are very polite. 4/5 - Honey Blue Burger - the meat was a lil dry but the blue cheese and honey made it better. I warn you it's a bit messy to eat! But it was so good! 3/5 - Fried Chicken Benedict - it's huge! It tasted okay because there was too much batter and it wasn't that flavorful. The chicken was moist. This is a cute new brunch place in Langley! Reminded me of Jam Cafe a bit! There was a bit of a wait but the staff was super efficient and got us seated with our beverages within 5-10 mins! We decided to order the Eggs Benny with the Honey Bacon and the French Toast. We always split so that we can try both things! I thought the French Toast was super tasty with the orange and custard! The bacon was a little under cooked for our liking...I don't enjoy bacon unless the fat has rendered down...it had pretty good flavour though...the smoked flavours really came through. The Eggs Benny was quite tasty...but served just barely warm...by the time we got to the second muffin it was cold. We also asked for the eggs on the side...but they served them right on the muffin. I don't eat eggs so I had to take the eggs off...but when you do that you lose out on a lot of the hollandaise sauce...which was really yummy...and then eat it. It is a weird request to have Eggs Benny without the eggs...I know!! The hash browns were super yummy...nice and crispy! We enjoyed our brunch...it just would have been perfect if it was a little warmer and without the eggs!! We went a little closer to lunch time and saw some Spaghetti and Meatballs going out...it looked delicious! We'll have to go back and try lunch at Delphi's! read more

Flies. The first thing you will notice are flies. The only thing I could focus on for my entire meal were the flies. I was really excited to come here for brunch, and I was very disappointed. I ordered a salmon benedict ($13?) and my SO got a philly cheese steak ($12). The flavours of the benny weren't very exciting; cured salmon's flavours weren't pronounced. The philly cheese steak was soaked with oil. We each got a drink, honey lavender latte and a rose latte. I absolutely loved their drinks. They were delicious and if it weren't for the flies, I would come back for the drinks. I probably wouldn't try my luck until maybe many, many months later... I don't tend to have good luck. Based on the reviews and ratings that I read before eating here, I expected more. The flies were definitely a dealbreaker. We were first seated in a booth, and there was a huge swarm of flies hovering over the table. We moved to a table across the restaurant and it was the same deal. A swarm of flies. Some crawling on the wall. Some crawling over the condiments and the tray holding them. I could not eat in peace. To be fair, I am a germaphobe, but I assure you... there were a lot of flies and unless you're okay with having flies in your food, I'm sure you'd agree with me. I looked more at the flies than at my food and drink. We did talk to the waiter about the overly oiliness of the philly cheese steak and the problem with the flies, to which he apologized and offered to waive the philly off our bill, but we refused the offer. I do sincerely hope they get rid of the flies to make it a more comfortable environment, but until then, I will satisfy my caffeine fix elsewhere. Flavour: 4/10 Service: 7/10 Value: 5/10 read more

Great find in Willowbrook area of Langley Menu is large and pretty diverse. Prices are very reasonable. Quality of the food is fantastic. Family washroom for those with kids Didn't have any drinks, will have to return for that and exploring the rest of the menu. read more

The food quality and freshness was good. We also liked the modern decor. It was quite busy as we were there during the sunday brunch rush, but staff was still friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had was that there wasnt a kids menu so we ordered the chicken alfredo for the kids, but our food came out long before the kids did. Beautiful brunch place in Langley. No line up on a weekend morning. Korean operated it seems and they were friendly. Service is a bit slow but we were in no rush. Coffee is served hot. Presentation of food is really nice. Prices are great for the portions. Think it must have opened pretty recently and word hasn't gotten out yet. Would choose this over line ups at White Spot or Cora's for breakfast on a weekend. read more

My date and I enjoyed brunch at this restaurant while shopping in the area. We were seated right away and menus were dropped off shortly afterwards. I ordered the Delphi Omelette and my date ordered the Cured Salmon Benedict. Food arrived in reasonable time. For some reason, my Omelette included toast and potatoes when I thought it was one or the other. Either way, there was plenty of carbs to accompany the nicely cooked fluffy omelette. Also, peanut butter or jam were not offered for the toast. I did not ask for any condiments as the potatoes was more than enough though. The benny looked great as well. It was actually made of diced up pieces of salmon. I guess easier to cut and eat. Service was average. No complaints though as food arrived in decent time. Such a funky and modern atmosphere and lovely/attentive staff. This is definitely the definition of a BRUNCH spot. They have café drinks available, which I love to have with brunch as opposed to only having coffee! The FLUFFIEST and thickest pancakes I think I've ever had at a restaurant. Wow. I ordered the "Protein" and my friends ordered the regular pancakes with seasonal berries! Mine had thick cut sweet bacon with cheese on top and a dusting of powdered sugar. Mmm. If I am ever in Langley I will 100% be going back. Yum! read more

Loved my experience at Delphi both times! The second time, I went out for a brunch with a couple friends. We all loved our food, service was a bit negligent and me and my other friend who ordered two pastas only got 1 garlic bread to share. The ambiance in this small and cute restaurant will take you places! Definitely will be back for more :) read more

If you are looking for an amazing brunch experience, you must try Delphi Cafe! The decor is beautiful, very clean and oh my on the food!! We had the shrimp benedict and the Chicken toast. The chicken was beyond delicious! Best we have ever had! We will be back for sure! What a gem in Langley! read more
Heard so many good things about this place I had to check it out myself and I must say it didn't disappoint! I love the crispy hashbrowns (anything softer is just a no-no), but definitely wish it came in a bigger portion. I ordered the crab cake Benny which was out of the ordinary because the cake was more of a salad type portion but it was still delicious. Located in the heart of Langley near willow brook mall. Great brunch spot which they are hard to find in the suburbs. read more

It was a great atmosphere and not too busy on a Saturday in November for lunch. Great service and good food. Unfortunate there was something in my avocado Benedict that tasted too sweet for my liking, but the presentation was amazing! My husband loved the Delphi omelette and cappuccino. I've heard nothing but good things about this place, so i was really hoping to enjoy it. Super cute, hidden gem in Langley! I wasn't expecting the crab cake benny to be made from imitation crab meat .. It was so fishy tasting. Pork belly pancakes sounded AMAZING. But was such a disappointment. Bbq sauce was so overpowering. I will definitely be back to try other items, and hopefully it'll be better. read more
