I saw the guy drop what looked like a quarter cup of sugar into the tamarindo mix, but wasn't sure if her was making a larger quantity. He did his thing with the ice cream maker and when I tasted it it was way too sweet and the sugar never dissolved. I would recommend dissolving the sugar in water to make simple syrup to avoid the sandy texture. Not worth the $7. Won't be back.
