Just had Delsea replace a frozen pressure switch. They were here on a Saturday within 45 minutes. All's good now. Appreciated the service.

I needed service because the Well Pressure switch was not working properly (on -cut off). I called Delsea Drilling , Bobby , the son ( sorry if the name is not correct ) came over and replaced the switch, the pressure gauge, adjusted the pressure in the tank. This man was incredibly rude. As a woman who knows nothing about wells, I innocently began telling him my issue with the well. He asked me many questions and he was very forceful. He would ask a question and would not let me finish the answer before he would ask another question. He was accusatory in his tone. I was really taken aback. I told him he was very highly recommended but I could not understand his tone. He got worse as the conversation went on. We ended up hanging up on each other. I still do not understand his defensiveness. I told him, I do not need to have him come out and I could have anyone come out but I was baffled by his line of questioning And his accusation. He was not interested in helping. That's ok but I want to put this out there. He would get zero stars but you had to pick one. I hope someone treats you the way you treated me today until you realize how wrong you were. read more

I purchased a property and contacted my electrician to come out to check the well pump he checked the amperage draw and said it was working fine. Then I called Delsea well drilling to come out and dig up the well to tell me the death and overall condition of the pump and well shaft. They came out and turned on the pump ran some water never dug up the well to answer my questions did a 2 part water test where they can't give me the results because he said they're not qualified and charged me $400. Wow beware of this company and then immediately started repeatedly calling so they could come pick up a check. read more

I called Delsea well drilling becuase their name is on the well in the home that we just purchased. I spoke with who I assume is the owner and told him we were having some issues with sediment. He asked me a few questions and said it could possibly be our water softener causing the sediment. I thanked him for giving me advice over the phone and he proceeded to call me a bitch and hung up on me. I have no idea what I said to offened him so I asked my husband to call and apologize and see if they could still come out and look at our well. When my husband called, the owner said he knew where we lived and he had guns. Save yourself the anxiety and feat and call someone else. read more

Had these guys install a water system and was reassured multiple times what they did was going to fix the issue. Unfortunately they did not listen to myself the customer when it came to understanding what was truly going on. Combative when it came to customer opinion, unwilling to listen, threatening nature...would never recommend! read more

Delsea Well Drilling returned to our neighborhood once again and turned off our community well with no prior notice that there would be an interruption in the water service. While doing the work to disconnect our neighbor from the system, they yelled, cursed and generally acted like animals all day long in front of our children. When asked by all of the members of the well over the course of the day they responded with more cursing and threats. Furthermore, we observed multiple unsafe work practices. Not a single employee was wearing a hardhat or any other PPE and no air monitoring was conducted before entering the well pit which is classified as a confined workspace. Another well member and I approached Ed Myers Sr. at the end of the work day to formalize out request that any future interruptions in out water service would require 24 hours notice, his response was, "I'm not gonna to let you know anything." I was able to capture this on video but yelp only allows pictures to be uploaded. Additionally, after they completed their work and turned the water back on sand began coming out of every faucet in our house and subsequently ruined every faucet and shower head in our house. It is our belief that they intentionally contaminated the system. We are currently working with the authorities to determine what the next steps will be. read more

Amazing response, service, and value! Our water softener system went and any female knows how that is key to your hair and skin (Plus I'm pregnant and need good water)! We called Delsea Well Drilling Inc. and that night they were here to see what the issue was. Two days later they were here right on time for their appointment and installed our new system. They were so professional and friendly and did a great install, They didn't leave a single trace that they were here except for the new system of course! We could not beat the price either. Eddie and his brother were amazing. We called later in the day after our water stopped pumping. They came over within 45 minutes, and worked until midnight in the hot summer heat to get the job done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Eddie went above and beyond for us. I called in the morning, he came the very same day. It turned out that it wasn't even our bladder tank that was leaking, however, still did maintenance. He found the problem that didn't even pertain to his trade and repaired for us. We had just had our blower motor replaced in the air conditioner unit a few weeks back. He took the time to check it out since the air pipe does also go into our basement. He found it was clogged, which was causing the leak and also found live wires that were never taped or capped by the previous company. We could've had serious problems here. Thank you, Eddie. It's refreshing to know there's still good people out there. I will be spreading the positive words on all my other social sites as well. THIS is the company you want taking care of your repairs. Customer beware of a contractor on a ego trip!! When I questioned the cost on a repair ( that come to find out I didn't need) I also encounter as another reviewer commented. Ed became rude, obnoxious, and boarder line bullish! Stay clear! read more

Horrendous. Ed is obnoxious. Ed quoted double the price compared to at least 6 other companies ( I called around to compare quotes after he quoted me $1350-$1800 plus tax for changing my well pump). After questioning his pricing he became annoyed and basically told us that he didn't need our business and told me to pay him for showing up as I wasted his time. He Charged me $175 for showing up to confirm that my well pump was in fact the issue. Similar local companies charge about $80. Ppl can survive without running water. I advise you to shop around before calling/using this guy. I got my pump replaced the next morning for a third of the price he quoted. He also threatened to silence my barking dog (... twice). Dogs can sense bad energy. read more

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Terrible customer service, careless substandard work and extortionate pricing. Called Delsea Drilling to assist with sump drainage issues. Eddie Jr.(owner) visited our home and quoted us an amount to complete the work involved to rebuild the sunken pit in our backyard and install a new sump with a battery backup. He assured my husband and I that we would "never have water in our basement again". After a month of zero communication, Eddie and his team showed up at our home out of the blue one night at 6:45pm to begin the work. They worked until it got dark and said they would be back early the next day to finish. He asked that we have payment ready at completion. When we asked what the bill was, he told us he saved us some money by using a recycled pit and stated that the job would cost $2500 more than what he quoted. He again insisted that we would never have to worry about water in our basement ever again. We were reluctant but ultimately manhandled to have the work completed to fix the problem. Eddie never gave us a receipt or any information on the work Delsea Drilling did or the product they installed. Less than a year later, we came home to 6 inches of water in our basement. Called Delsea Drilling several times and never received a call back. Had the system evaluated by a professional and was told that the reason we received the water in our basement was due to faulty installation. Delsea Drilling failed to clean the sump pit and did not elevate the sump properly causing the sandy base to slow the flow and clog the pipe. We are now in the process of pursuing litigation against them. Sharing this experience so that no one has to go through the this nightmare. read more

I used Delsea about 25 years ago when we built our house. About 10 years out, I turned my water on and mud came out of the faucets. I had a meeting at our house that night. I ended up calling numerous companies to come out that day to fix it right away. Everyone asked me if Delsea had put the well in. I said yes. They said it was a part that Delsea doesn't use the metal one that lasts longer. And it was that part when a different company came to fix it. read more

So far I'm really impressed, after meeting with two other well drillers, I knew Delsea Well was the best choice, first off, Ed asked where the new well goes, and instead of immediately counting how far it was he simply told me that "all" drenching to the home was included, others told me 3 dollars a foot after just 50 feet, and then instead of using cheap fittings and charging extra for the better stainless fittings, he only uses stainless steel, my only choice. This so far is the best value I could find. I will give another review after the job is done. read more
