In the middle of the night the hotel slipped a letter under my door stating that a cab driver dropped off my wallet at the front desk. Nothing in my wallet was disturbed. I asked for a cab thinking I called their competitor and she said you know we are not so and so and I said "it doesn't matter just get me a cab". She then asked me where I was going and she sounded quite rude. So I was kind of worry and was wondering if she will even come and pick me up. Luckily the cab came. The driver was ok. First, he turned at the exit further than the 1st nearer one for Deerfoot Tr south and then flew past the 64 Ave exit ramp. I alerted him to get in at 64 Ave exit, he told me I was too late to tell him so. Next, I have to direct him to McKnight Blvd to get into 4 St NW in order to go north to 64 Ave. The total cost $38.20 when the usual cab fare I paid from YYC to my house is $26 - 29 max! I told him I take cab from airport to house 4 times a year and that's what I usually pay, so how much he wants me to pay him with the extra mileage he took us around. He said $38. I paid him but decided to lodge a complaint! If you have a phone and keyed in the destination address, why are you going the extra miles?
