Took this Taxi from Downtown to Airport. Its ok. It did worry me a bit when I booked it. So what had happened was that I went to google their competitor taxi and because they had paid for the ad, they were listed first on the list and without realizing I called the number. So the lady from dispatch picked up and she did sound a bit rude. I asked for a cab thinking I called their competitor and she said you know we are not so and so and I said "it doesn't matter just get me a cab". She then asked me where I was going and she sounded quite rude. So I was kind of worry and was wondering if she will even come and pick me up. Luckily the cab came. The driver was ok. Customer service is poor and the driver could not figure out that I had paid in advance, so started the meter. After I asked him about this, he called the office, and had a long convo, round and round, and round,m while driving, and eventually turned off the meter. Got a united cab unit 1857 at the airport and told the Cab driver I wanted to go to Dalhousie, we started driving out of the airport and as we were driving I told him I wanted to go across deerfoot bridge and go the back way on Countryhills blvd to Shanappi He then said the roads were to slippery that way and he would not go that way instead he wanted to go to Stoney trail. I promptly told him that would cost double and I wasnt going to pay double what it would cost going the way I told him. So I told him to go mcknight to John Laurie. On our way he would slow down at every traffic light trying to stop to run the meter up as well. It ended up costing me additional five dollars on the meter which would have been a tip if he hadnt been a jerk so I gave no tip. He would not even take my luggage out of the back of the cab. If he is not skilled enough to drive the roads in any weather then he should find another job. Terrible service, terrible company if they let this shit slide. I wont use them again. read more

Wanted to get to work instead of walking because it was hot . Cab was hot as heck windows up NO Air Conditioning on !!!! Asked for the air to be turned on the driver ignored me. This company is withholding service and trying to collect a charge that is not mine and belongs to another fare. A very odd person noticed me through my window working at 1:30 am (deadlines). She asked me to call her a cab, which I did. I did not let her into my house, she waited on the street and I explained the situation to the dispatcher at the time of the call - that she was a stranger without a phone. Apparently she didn't pay him. The cab driver called me and said it was my responsibility to pay for her. I flat out refused as I had told the company the situation. The driver said I would be "blacklisted". Uber is very happy with my patronage. I don't know why anyone would do business with them. read more

If you value your life and your vehicle... do not hire this company. I had a run in with a cabbie who said he hit my car on purpose because 'he had a camera and could prove I was in the wrong'. Hitting a vehicle purposefully is dangerous and not something I would imagine someone who is in charge of other people's lives would do. I brought this up with the company itself and have been ignored. It was cab 1038 - if it shows up at your door run the other way! This guy has serious issues and intends to harm others. I am not one to write a bad review, but this is disgusting human behaviour. If one can even call it human. Noticing other reviews, it seems this is probably the worst place in Calgary to get a cab. Had to go to Local post office to pick up package. Driver cab #156 was polite and got out of the cab each time I entered or exited in case I needed assistance. The cab was clean but the plexiglass attracts static dirt. No easy fix. Driver offered 2 different ways and waited for my return trip. Very good trip. Thank you. Shout out to this guy as he owns his own cab and he is proud if his car/job/career/service. A community icon. City listen - he needs a community awareness award. read more

Quite literally the worst cab experience I've had thus far! After having booked a cab close to 48 hours in advance and called the day prior to confirm the booking, my husband calls THEM 7 minutes AFTER scheduled pickup, only to have them say that they couldn't find a driver for us and they could very helpfully "cancel the reservation". Granted it was early morning and frigid out, but when you ACCEPT a booking, the least you can do is call the customer YOURSELF and let them know there isn't a driver instead of making them wait and call frantically when no taxi arrives well past scheduled pickup. People pay thousands to travel, and in the middle of a pandemic, couldn't the bare minimum standards be met to ensure people aren't COMPLETELY missing their expensive flights?? I called the company again at 11:55, freaked out, only to be told that the cab "should arrive in 5 minutes" by some guy who seemed exasperated by my expectation that the cab should arrive within, say, 10 minutes of the agreed upon time. The level of customer service from the morning dispatch lady is atrocious the can drivers for this company are rude ignorant do not know the city at all and don't follow instructions at all. Many times I have had issues with them. I say I have good service 2/10 times. they need to start fresh with the customer service. I take cabs about 4/7 days a week so they will be losing a good chunk of change from me when most times I spend upwards of 70 a day. Extremely overcharged and the driver led me in charge of which roads to take to the destination when I simply asked for the fastest route and kept asking over complicated questions. An extorting and horrendous company. I called customer service and they hung up on me. Most taxis Ive used before costed about 30 from downtown to the south but this ended up costing 54 dollars for the same. read more

Very poor service. I have called this company a couple times from malls, and they can never seem to find the right entrance. Today the driver called me and told me he couldn't find the entrance at Chinook I wanted. He asked me to walk to the opposite end of the mall and meet him there. I said I couldn't as I had quite a lot of heavy things with me. I directed him to the entrance and he insisted he couldn't get to it. Get uber Calgary. This driver seemed just forever pissed for some unknown reason. I got into the cab right when it arrived asked how he was; no answer. It was silent for the entire ride and he didn't ask what route I wanted to go, it was just uncomfortable silence the whole thing then looks pissed when he doesn't get a tip for literally not doing or saying anything and reading texts while driving. I booked a taxi through the phone for pick-up this morning a few days ago but it wasn't actually booked and I had to call up again to get a new taxi arranged. What is the point of making a booking beforehand if the taxi doesn't arrive at all or on time. The female representative at the call center I made a reservation with didn't sound professional and I had a huge doubt that the booking was properly made. Took #4 from Peter Lougheed Hospital June 26 midday. This cab driver broke every rule in the book...speeding, following too close, sped through a yellow light then later went through a red light, answered a call on his cell phone, didn't take the route that I requested...I was SCARED. I called the office and was assured that the tapes would be reviewed (ie; my fear and anger and conversation with the driver) and addressed. I called today to follow up (July 6) and was informed that they only keep tapes for 72 hours...even if someone is murdered in the cab! This driver seems to hang out at the PLC...worst cab ride EVER and even worse customer care. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Honestly, I was extremely satisfied with the service. I called in and was told the cab would be there within 15 minutes, it arrived much quicker (or so it seemed) and the driver was very kind.
