SAY NO TO DELTA. I have a client who has a $700+ Delta Touch Faucet that the solenoid stopped working. Delta said that the "electronic" part was not warrantied but offered to sell a solenoid for 50% off the suggested retail price. Not ideal but acceptable. I took Delta up on your generous offer of 50% off on the solenoid as per phone conversations and emails with their staff. I ordered the part on 01/21/2026 and got an Order Acknowledgement #. Unfortunately, the representative processed the $130.00 payment twice and those two payments appeared as separate pending charges. I waited to see if that would be corrected and scheduled to checked back with my bank. After I checked to see if the charges had been processed, I found that BOTH charges had been pulled back and no charges were applied to the account. I called today to find out #1) What is going on with the payment? #2) Where is my part? #3) When can I expect to receive the part? After dealing with a representative who is a borderline customer service representative at best and having him be amused at my issues with this order. He offered no resolution other than to say that someone from the financial department would get back with me in 24-48 hours. He couldn't tell me when the part would be finally processed or could / would be sent. At that point I told him I just wanted to just cancel the order. he said fine and I discontinued the call. Honestly, the part I need, the same OEM part can be obtained from Amazon and had I ordered it from them, I would have had it in 1 DAY. It would have cost more ($25.00) but since I have spent HOURS trying to get the part from Delta without any luck, I would have saved money and time. Frustrated, I called back and asked for a supervisor but the "Escalation Specialist" who took the call was completely unconcerned with the parts delay and didn't want to deal with that area of the issue and said that I only could deal with the accounting issues via email because that is how Delta that handles the double payment errors. She expressed that the part remained in processing and until the payment issue was resolved I was more or less F'd. I told her then to make sure to cancel the order which she refused and said I HAD TO ACCEPT THE ORDER AND COULD RETURN IT once I received it. I would be responsible for shipping for costs, and I would be responsible for restock charges involved. WTF She acknowledged that the parts hadn't been processed and acknowledged that payment hadn't been made but canceling the order was not possible. That is either a lack of empowerment on her end or sheer incompetence on her part or both. I routinely have recommended Delta as well as Moen to my clients because of what I used to consider to be a superior warranty and good customer service. That I can say is no longer or will no longer be the case. (Moen has always taken care of my clients and me.) I have questions for Delta. How can I go from having an Order Acknowledgement # on the 01/21/2026 to being told on 01/30/26 that I must expect and deal with further delays for an undetermined period of time? I have delt with repeated incompetent individuals in regard to this order. First is the rep who charge the card twice in the first place. Second is the rep who stumbled through my inquiry (01/30/26) call. (Ah, what is it you need?", "Ah, I'm not sure", "Ah I don't know", "Ah, let me check my reference info", "Ah this is hard", and then after a long hold, "Ah, you're still there?" with chuckles, it was like he expected me to have hung up. (I got the impression that these are work from home representatives because of background noise like children, pets, etc.) The final was the (moronic) Specialist who didn't take an "I" attitude to resolving the problem, who didn't deescalate the situation and ended up creating a customer who will NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER. My company that I own does facility maintenance from commercial to residential and I have a number of high-end condos, apartment complexes and HOA's who we make recommendations to about everything from lighting to paint suppliers. I have clients who have replaced 50 faucet fixtures at a time in large complexes where quarterly maintenance is applied. Personally, I can install any fixture a client may have purchased but Delta will NOT be one I will request, submit for or recommend in the future. If you look at the faucet in question, it is a faucet I had recommended, a faucet that is far above the selected price range and choice of the basic homeowner ($700+). It should never take more than 10 days to get an in-stock part out, much less delivered and a customer shouldn't be required to pursue or inquire about the reason for parts delay if there is an issue on Delta's end. read more

They replaced the faucets with a very similar model. Whether it was a known problem or not, many companies would not have done what they did, I tip my hat to them for standing behind warrantee and their products. Purchased a Delta faucet (Flynn 35768LF-OB) in 2018 brand new from Lowe's. Came with "Guaranteed For Life" packaging AND "all parts and finishes of this Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the faucet was first installed". The oil rubbed bronze material flaked off the faucet on all parts and actually rusted through on several other areas. I kept all of my records (receipt, packaging, parts) and returned product to Lowe's. Lowes explained need to go through Delta Customer Service. This is when the fun begins. It was clear the agent is incentivized to deny any and all claims. The agent, Likesha, was a real gem. After sending me a text to allow video access to my phone for virtual confirmation, she immediately began stating "rules of the road". First, she stated the faucet is void once removed from the sink. Second, she requested to know what cleaning products were used on the faucet over the years of ownership. Third, she began citing reasons for defects. She said she could escalate to a supervisor, but really nothing could be done. Unfortunately, Delta is unaware that customers have choices. This choice was utilized when we purchased the faucet initially with the false Delta advertising. Additionally, the same products that clean our Moen and Tuscany faucet products look great 10 YEARS later. We do not feel bad about Delta's decision or their antics. Even though it was $120, it was only $120. Not a lot of money spent to lose a customer for life and the negativity we will share with anyone that asks. I live in a senior living residence which was built in 1986. Over time, the acrylic faucet cover (RP2389) for hot and cold water had become dirty and cloudy. I didn't know how to remove it so that I could clean the inside of it. I reached out to Delta's customer service via email. They told me how to remove it, and clean it effectively, which I did. I purchased the Delta Renaldi faucet, three-hole. It came with a pull-out hose of 4 1/2 inches long. It certainly does not reach around my entire sink. I paid almost $800 for the unit. I have had to call 6 times to check on my return and push them to refund the money. You can not speak with anyone who actually handles returns, so they just route you around to multiple departments that ultimately can't help. They will not refund my credit card (because its past 60 days) and are sending me a paper check that could take up to 5 weeks! This is after it taking 30 days for them to process the receipt of my return. The mailed check has no tracking number, so there is no way to insure when or if I receive it. I purchased a Delta faucet on Amazon, selecting one that was more expensive than several others I viewed, hoping it would be well engineered. Bottom line, the faucet looks nice, but the handle doesn't move smoothly or with the granularity needed. As a result, selecting the right water temperature for warm versus hot for example, is more difficult than is required or expected. My previous Delta faucet lasted 8+ years and worked fine. Both of these faucets were installed by the same plumber, who said he's done thousands of these installations. Issues with the faucet include: - Temperature setting is difficult - It resists turning from side to side - The removeable nozzle does not fit into the main faucet housing well (it takes effort to pull it out or push it back in) - The faucet is already dripping. I'm beyond frustrated with your warranty/services department. We purchased a delta shower enclosure a couple years ago. In July the non-door wall exploded in the middle of the night. We contacted Delta Faucet and they gave me a replacement number to purchase another and they would refund me. When I found the replacement it was out of stock. I waited about 2 months and contacted our local hardware chain store. They informed me this product was discontinued. I emailed delta faucet and was asked if I had the base or wall set number. I had already given that information. When I called back I was told they should have originally asked some questions and had me take pictures and that they would call me to do a video of the shower with me. I was frustrated that was not given initially, but I filled out the form and uploaded the pictures. A week went by and I heard nothing. I went back over the form and it said for me to call when the pictures were uploaded. So, I called back went through the whole scenario and was told a supervisor would call me within 24 hours. That was December 10, 2025. A week went by so on December 17, I called again to Delta Faucet. Went through the whole scenario again. The lady put me on hold to talk to a supervisor. After about 15 minutes on hold she came back and said I don't think this is our shower!! I was beyond livid. It is a delta shower; we purchased it, had it installed, used it a couple years and the non-door wall exploded. She told me the original lady I talked to had not expedited my phone call to the supervisor but she would expedite it and I would get a call in 24 hours. Well its been over 48 hours, so I called back again today. I got the same lady I talked to on the 10th that didn't expedite my call so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to an Escalation Specialist. I asked what that meant and she stated she is a step below a supervisor. So I reluctantly went through the scenario again and she said well it's been discontinued. REALLY!! Everyone knows that. She said she could expedite my call for a supervisor to call within 24 hours. I reiterated it had been 192 hours already. The expediting is not working. I want to be reimbursed for the shower. Or, better yet have a new shower installed (although the warranty doesn't cover this) but it was your faulty product that I have to replace and have installed again. Delta is a huge company. My husband was a plumber/pipefitter for years and swore by Delta. Saying you get what you pay for. We are not saying that anymore. Definitely will be letting everyone know to steer clear of Delta, unless this is resolved. Thank you for your attention to the matter. I recently purchased a Delta Faryn Tub/Shower faucet combo for a bathroom that I was remodeling. I hired a plumber/tile journeyman to install the faucet and tile the shower. After the work was complete, it was discovered that the Delta faucet sprayed water simultaneously out of the shower head and tub spigot, when turned on. The plumber initially attempted to address the problem by replacing all external faucet parts (including the cartridge) with other new parts, to no avail. Ultimately, he determined that the "rough-in" valve in the wall was likely defective. Delta was contacted regarding the problem and eventually agreed to send a replacement "rough-in" valve. After tearing out the new tile and wallboard, replacing the defective valve in the wall, and repairing the tile, the faucet began working properly - confirming the original diagnosis of a defective "rough-in" valve. Because the plumber/tile guy spent an additional day and a half diagnosing the problem, traveling to various stores for parts/tile/etc., replacing the defective valve, and repairing the damaged wall, he sent me a bill for $2350. When I contacted Delta regarding the matter, the representatives that I spoke to told me that Delta would not pay ANY labor costs (not even a portion of them) - despite the fact that their defective valve was the source of the problem and additional costs to my family. read more

Delta truly stands behind their products with their lifetime warranty. They shipped out me replacement parts at no charge in courteous and expedient manner. Not just once... but twice. I have the Delta Leland bath faucets installed by the homebuilder in 2012. Two of the handles became stiff to operate and started leaking. I contacted Delta's customer support line and explained that my faucets most likely needed new cartridges. Once I was able to demonstrate that I was the original owner of these faucets, they shipped me the replacement cartridges and washers free of charge. I was unable to repair one of the faucets after replacing the cartridge as the bonnet nut would not fully tighten. I made another call, and within two minutes the agent created a new order to ship me two replacement bonnets with expedited shipping, and free of charge. Horrible experience with this company. I ordered several kits for renovations being done at multiple properties and every kit I ordered was missing at least one critical part. Dealing with the company's call center to get replacement parts was an absolute nightmare. I was lied to many times, waited many weeks for shipments, and to this day, I STILL don't have the parts I need to use these products. All the while, I've been losing thousands of dollars on holding costs because all the properties these are going into are currently on hold waiting for these few parts that should have been included in the original packages. To make matters worse, the company is run with bottom-of-the-barrel employees that they have to be hiring out of the special ed programs at the local high schools because they are challenged. Absolutely the worst customer service and support i have ever had, by a landslide. First I am a facilities director. I repair things for a living and have for over 35 years. I decided to order from deltas website. My mistake. 2 days later I received an email saying my parts were shipped. the tracking link they sent went to UPS' website and there was no tracking info. I called and was told my order was still in processing. I told him that, I had an email saying it had been shipped. he asked for the tracking number and then told me that they didn't use UPS, only FedEx, and my package had been delivered on Monday, with an attitude. I put the same number in FedEx tracking, and it did say that it had been delivered and that I had signed for it. Funny I wasn't at work that day. I searched every place FedEx could have put it in every building, to no avail. I called them back on Thursday seeking help in locating my package. I was told i had to call FedEx. I asked if they would call them. He told me "We shipped it and it left our facility. FedEx lost it. We did our job. Now its your problem. I ordered a kitchen faucet with a sprayer. It arrived Dec. 23rd 1 day before holiday guests arrived. I assumed Delta was a reputable American company but they proved me wrong. The faucet came with really confusing instructions and had mixed languages instead of the main one in English. Then we quickly realized parts were missing, including the main nut that holds the faucet to the counter. You can't buy replacement parts or similar at Home Depot or Lowe's. Ridiculous! I had to buy a new faucet, a Pfister which took 10 minutes to install. Costs more but looks great. I asked Delta for a refund and was told they would be glad to send me the missing parts. No, I don't need this faucet anymore. I want my refund or I'll have the charges reversed and leave an honest review. The customer service agent was "Elizabeth". I still have not received instructions on how to return and I'm ready to call my credit card company. So sad this is happening to all American companies. Customers no longer are always right, now we have to fight for something that we rightfully deserve since it was no fault of ours. I bought a faucet for a bathroom remodeling about 7 years ago. My shower faucet was leaking so I called Delta for a cartridge, as they have a lifetime guarantee. I spoke to a woman who quickly downplayed the need for a new cartridge and arranged to send me a $7 item of seats and springs to repair the cartridge with a diagram of it, as if I would know how to take it apart and put it back together. My wife and I had a great experience with Delt Faucet customer service last month that I wanted to pass that on to consumers. We installed a Delta 'Charmaine' faucet (#19962Z-RBSD-RST, in rubbed bronze) in our kitchen four years ago as part of a full remodel. About a year ago or so, the spray wand - which has a toggle switch on the backside that changes it from an aerated stream to a wider spray - had been getting harder to toggle back and forth. It got to the point that we literally could not switch it without the use of some Channel-Lock pliers. So being the good engineer, I took the wand apart and attempted to lubricate the slide valve's O-rings with plumber's grease and later with some WD-40. Both lubricants lasted a day or so before it got hard to toggle again. I even replaced the two O-rings on the slide valve, but that failed too. A new wand was $95.00 online! Ummm, nope! So I went online and sent Delta Customer Service a message describing my dilemma and asking them for guidance on a good lubricant...and if it was possible to purchase new innards (slide valve) to make it work again. They were kind enough to reply and said that the wand was not "consumer-serviceable" and that WD-40 would only swell the O-rings (which it did...) Then they asked me what model I had and when I bought it (and from whom.) I answered those questions and fully expected to hear the reply that the, "wand was out of warranty...thank you much...and goodbye." But nope. I next got an email with an attached invoice that indicated that Delta was sending me a new wand (model #RP82234RB)...at no cost to myself! Sure enough, the band new wand arrived (along with a new hose which I did not need...) and I installed it straight away! And the new wand looks great and works perfectly! So how can you beat that? Very much appreciate Delta Faucet Customer Service and all the CSRs that responded to me and made the decision to send me a new and free wand! Thank you all for some great support! I installed a Delta Faucet in my kitchen 3 years ago. A month ago, the faucet started leaking. Delta assessed the problem by phone and sent out a replacement cartridge free of charge because the part was "still under warranty." When the new part arrived, I called Delta back to schedule the service call. Instead of scheduling a service call, the Customer Rep said all I needed was an "Allen wrench." What??? I didn't own an Allen wrench and didn't even know what one was! I am not a plumber! When I pointed that out, the Delta rep told me to go buy an Allen wrench! That made me furious. Now I'm supposed to go BUY something to fix YOUR faulty product and then make like a plumber when, I repeat, I am NOT a plumber!?! This guy had to be kidding! He wasn't. But it got worse. Since, I repeat, I am NOT a plumber, I had to hire one. He charged $185.00 for the service call. $185.00 is EXACTLY what I paid for this faucet when I bought it new, 3 years ago. So I've now paid for the same faucet TWICE. Add to that the $200 I initally paid to have the faucet installed the first time and I've now paid $570 total. For that amount, I could have bought a real fancy faucet, not this piece of crap. As for Delta, they're laughing all the way to the bank. They buy cheap parts in China (parts which will probably fail 3 years into their 10-year warranties, too), provide no repairmen to fix their faucets, and don't reimburse customers for the plumbers they're forced to hire because, guess what? MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT PLUMBERS! Delta thus treats its customers like chumps. When this Delta replacement part fails (and it will), I will be installing a different brand of faucet altogether. I had a running toilet that was less than 1 year old. I emailed Delta 1/2 asking for an inexpensive ($9) replacement part (RP91471 - flapper). They (Olufun milayo) replied 1/6 and I was asked to send a photo along with confirming details and my name/address. I replied on 1/6, confirming the details and sending 2 photos, a close-up of the part and a distant one showing almost the entire toilet. The photos even show part numbers on the back wall of the toilet. On 1/9, I get a reply from someone else (Frank) asking me "We would like to see a picture of the entire toilet to identify it." I wrote back cursing him out advising while my toilet is running, he's sounding like an insurance company that doesn't want to pay out. I purchased the $9 part from their site and moved on. With service like this, I wouldn't recommend Delta to anyone. read more
