Great customer service! I built a home, and perused through the washer and dryer section several times before making my decision. I know the guys there probably knew me by sight-but building a home takes a long time! Glen ordered the washer and dryer for me (and he said he had the same washer, so I knew it must be pretty decent). This morning, two very nice and respectful men installed both appliances within 15 minutes. When I tried to start the washer later, it didn't turn on. I get inspired to do home projects when I come here. This store is huge, maybe 2 acres. And FILLED with everything you could possibly need for home improvement. I was pleased to see they were proudly displaying their new Craftsman line - shelves filled with shiny red tools. We were told they would honor the lifetime warranties of old Craftsman products - no receipt necessary. They also carry a store brand that has a life time warranty. This store is always neat and tidy. Appliances, lumber, tools, paints, flooring, plumbing and much much more. In the spring/summer they carry perineal and annuals. They carry lots of great quality brands such as Estwing hammers. We were asked if we needed help finding merchandise by no less than three clerks. Great, friendly service. They also offer installation services if you need. The store has plenty of parking with nice walkways into the store. The facilities are accessible. read more

Un-freaking believable experience at this store. I have shopped here for years and cannot believe what happened yesterday. two months back I bought replacement windows for my little house and one window came in the wrong size so Lowes ordered the correct window and it came in yesterday. I took the wrong sized window to the store and exchanged it for my right window. I asked the service desk what they were going to do with that window and I was told they were going to put it back on the floor and sell it. I explained that I paid for this window and not Lowes how can they put it back on the floor. I explained that I would like to keep the window and was willing to pay whatever Pella wanted for the window. The service/sales manager told me that she will have to speak with the store manager. I explained that I had a luncheon I need to go too and could she please call me back. 30 Minutes later I received a call and was told that the manager called Pella and Pella Windows Company told them to destroy the window and throw it away, and the service manager then stated that it was already taking to the trash, smashed and trashed. I could not believe what I was hearing, I was livid. When I returned from lunch, I called Pella and spoke with a representative with them and she told me that this is not normal Pella's practice to destroy new good windows. They only authorize windows to be destroyed if they were broken during shipment. I called the Lowes Call Center and I explained what happened and I was told that the store manager will be calling me within 24 hours. 24 Hours have passed and no phone call. This Lowes is bar-none the worst in customer service. I really fell like I was lied too by the Lowes Management. Avoid, go to another Lowes, this store has bad business practice. SHAME ON THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS STORE. read more

My husband and I have come here about two dozen times since moving to Zionsville Village last Fall. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate everyone working in the paint department. They always have a smile on their face. We were there over the weekend to see their washer/dryer selection. The man working that day answered all of our questions and if he didn't know the answer he made sure to find someone who did. Prices are usually reasonable and they tend to have promotions on their appliances. Paint and wood selections are great. Since having our new house built, we are frequently visiting Lowe's for all kinds of things. The store offers a great selection of products, all the way from lawn equipment to home decor! Recently, we purchased a great washer & dryer set, and the delivery date/time was just as promised! The staff in the appliance section is very knowledgeable and very willing to help you find the right fit for you. My one critique for the location is the execution of their site-to-store pickup service. We've used this a few times, and each time it seems to be a little unorganized and puzzling for the staff at the service desk. (Unable to locate the items, issues with using the software for checking out...) I do have to say that the staff at this location has been extremely friendly and helpful! It's also a very clean and tidy location, which is appreciated when trying to find exactly what you're looking for. read more

I cannot recommend this store. Two weeks ago I went there to purchase four storage tubs. As I was at the self-checkout, an employee approached me and asked to separate the stacked tubs and stated, "You might be trying to steal something." I asked if he were serious and then asked what could possibly be stolen between four collapsed tubs. I asked for a manager and he sided with the employee. I called the corporate office and have not heard from it. Under no circumstances can I recommend this store. Likewise, under no circumstances will I ever shop there, or any other Lowe's, again. I purchased two ceiling fans a week ago Saturday, but saw yesterday that the same fan was a July 4th doorbuster deal ending today. I went to the Whitestown store to inquire about a price adjustment which is supposed to be Lowe's policy if I ask for the adjustment within 30 days. I was told by the store that the in-store price was $139.98 so they could not adjust my price. So I called the Lowes number and was told I already receive a discount (which I assume is the $5 MyLowes Discount I previously earned that I applied towards this purchase), as well as a 5% disount for using my Lowes card, so they could not give me an further price adjustment. My payment summary document says my saving were $19.73, but the doorbuster would have given me $60 off for the brushed nickel option. I expected the difference of $40.27 to be applied back to me based on Lowe's adjustment policy. Had we not already installed the fans, we would have taken them back to return them so we could purchased them again and get the doorbuster deal. We will be looking at Mendards, Home Depot or on-line in the future for our purchase needs before we even consider purchasing again from Lowes. Yet another way Lowes gets you. read more

Selection is sometimes a little low or on the light side, but several of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. One associate in plumbing is really experienced and extremely helpful. Every time I go in and need something on a basement/bath finish, he's got great advise and help. read more

We do the kids workshop every so often on Saturdays. It's a great time. The only thing I would suggest is that they get seating for the small children. My daughter is 2 years old and they have 4x8 tables setup with no seats. She wasn't tall enough to see over the tables. They have a great selection of tools and so on. It's pretty quiet here so you can usually spend a lot of time here just wondering around. Which can be dangerous if your a guy like me. We "need" everything... Overall a great store! read more

After shopping around for carpet, I chose Lowe's flooring department. Big, big mistake. While the sales process was straightforward, the install was a complete headache with several call backs. Lowe's used a firm called "Ultimate Home Services" for the install - on day of install, 3 workers showed up an hour late and then 2 left shortly after (1 guy did 3 bedrooms + hallway + stairs) which took all day. They were supposed to arrive at 9AM and the guy was working by himself still at 7:30PM. From that point on, we had problems including LARGE gaps, furniture that was not replaced (which I had to pay extra service fee), thresholds not replaced, floor outlets COVERED OVER WITH CARPET, seams failed. Here's the kicker - they measured a bedroom incorrectly and cut the carpet too short so we ended up with a 2 inch strip and additional seam right in front of a doorway. (See my profile picture.) I insisted it be fixed so they sent the same installer out and he tried to use a comb to hide the seam (he did nothing else to address the actual issue). ..ugh, there's more but hopefully you get the point. The fact that the installer couldn't speak English was not a help. Ultimately, Lowes addressed all my concerns but the seams are still pretty obvious and who knows how long they will hold (we've already had to address 2 of them). In short, the installers were not professionals. DO NOT USE LOWES FOR CARPET INSTALLATION! Lesson learned. I think the most insulting thing is that after all the callbacks and clear evidence that the install was a total screw-up, Lowes did nothing to try to help make it right - they just agreed it was not done properly but kept sending out the same installers. So the staff at Lowe's is great. I ordered a gift for my husband online. After placing the order they give you an option if delivery time. Don't bother choosing a time that works for you. Lowe's doesn't deliver it. A third party does. They are rude. I asked for 8-12. They assigned 3:39-7:30. When I called and tried to explain it was a gift and I needed it before 5:00, the women on the phone got rude and told me she couldn't help me, kept cutting me off and had a horrible attitude. This is my first review. This particular Lowes is in a very nifty part of town with very easy access. The people were your typical lowes type employees, friendly on monday at 2:00 but a little bit shy on saturday afternoons. Dont fret, its expected. I like the free paint stirrer sticks they give out with paint. Dont worry they even give them out if you just buy spray paint...go figure! read more

Terrible!!! We chose to use Lowes on our kitchen remodel, and started our project in September 2015. They mismeasured the cabinets, mismanaged their GC, made countless broken promises. I can't tell you how many times I've heard "It'll be done next Friday", made me feel like they were Wimpy "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!". Anyway, Jason (designer) was great, but after you pay, the performance is terrible. Customer service is terrible. Oh yeah, It's March 2016 and the project STILL ISN'T DONE! This Lowe's has gone through a lot of ups and downs. When it first opened the service was mediocre. It plummeted even further 1-2 years after opening which prompted us to quit shopping there even though it is right across the street. However, they have turned it around quite nicely. Nate (I think is his name) is a manager in the front end of the store and is fantastic. There is another customer service manager, older with glasses, medium build, who is also fantastic. And Evan is great as well. They've made a lot of progress since they've opened, and we now frequent this location. read more
