Went for a car wash and got my wiper blade snapped off. It was a time trying to get it fixed. I had to call corporate to make sure they would replace the blade. Initially, I felt like I was getting the run around for them to fix my car because they never communicated with me unless I reached out to them about having it replaced. Truly the worst detail I ever paid for. I should have been suspicious when they said I could not do the cheaper express detail, but had to do the whole interior detail. for 225.00. Obviously, the interior was dirty, or why would I have it detailed. It's been several years since I worked in a detail shop, and maybe we didn't have all the updated equipment they have now, but never can I remember getting an interior done in less than an hour. I left the car at 8:30, walked 15 minutes to a nearby restaurant for breakfast, and within 20 minutes I got a phone call saying my car was ready. Having scheduled 3 hours for this service,I was told the vehicle could not sit there and hd to be pick up immediately. So I had to have someone else pick up my vehicle, who didn't review the work. When I got home, I was shocked at the condition of the interior. There were fine white hairs all through the back of the vehicle, the sides of the seats looked like they were never touched because there were still drips of coffee visible. And the biggest shock were the floor mat were piled in the back upside down "because they were wet". The front 2 mats were not even touched, they looked the same as when I dropped it off. When I contacted customer service, first I was advised they don't clean the back of SUV's, without an additional charge. When I pointed out on their own website, the 225.00 does cover the rear, their new excuse was they contacted the location and they said it was cleaned and I should have brought it to their attention when I was there. . When I forwarded photos, showing it was not, they said the complaint would be escalated to a supervisor. 2 months and several message later, still no action. Cancelled monthly service, enjoying far better service at Crow cr wash, for less money a month. STAY AWAY! read more

I'm an unlimited wash member, and honestly -- it's not living up to the name. I literally have to go through twice just to get my car fully clean. That extra time is frustrating and throws off my day. I have things to do, and having to double back at the car wash is just bananas. They are efficient for the oil change. Pull up they try the upset but not heavy. Also you can sit in the car while you wait. All good.

NOT ACTUALLY TOUCHLESS. Says touchless on the website, building/signs, and menu you pay at. IT ISNT ACTUALLY FULLY TOUCHLESS. Big heavy nasty wipers hit your car. Additionally the quality of the wash itself left much to be desired for the cost. The rear of the car is lazily and barely sprayed by a teenager going into the wash and came out still dirty. The wheels didn't get cleaned well. And keep in mind my car wasn't all that dirty to begin with! Definitely never returning. read more

They need to train staff on how to clean the interior and scrub ......leather seats still had food marks and mud marks from shoes ( I was able to take off w my nails, still had smudge marks all over dashboard and crunbs in gear shit crevices, seat crevices and under mats, visors still full of fingerprints and smudges Not acceptable cleaning for $$, a lazy job was done, not happy here. read more

Paid over $50.00 to have my car detailed. The attendant missed several smudges on the seats and inside door panels. When I inquired why the tires didn't het the gloss applied, the attendant asked his supervisor and he refused to apply the gloss. While I was waiting for my car another customer insisted that the detail job be redone after his inspection. Won't be returning to this Delta Sonic in Tinley Park. read more

This car wash was closed for quite a while. I was glad to see they were open again, but their prices have significantly increased, and the service for taking payment was very slow. The worst parts were an awful noise at one of the cleaning stations, the dryers did not effectively dry the car, and there were lots of water spots on the car car had-it did not look clean. While being so close to the gas station pumps causes some traffic jams at times, this car wash is well run and does a nice job. They have enough employees to get you in and out in quick time. This is really not one of those $3 dollar car washes and is more expensive, but that said you get a very nice car wash for the price. They have employees at the start of the wash line who spray your tires and side panels to make sure they get cleaned well - a nice touch that makes for a cleaner result. You can just stay in the car and drive through, and don't have to delay at the end if you want to get going. The car wash has trippy lights throughout the line - an interesting touch. One of the car dealers in the neighborhood (Rizza Ford) used to give you a Delta car wash ticket after an oil change and that was a nice touch. That kept you out of the Ford car wash and got you a nicer one just down the road. Don't know if they still do this, but would love it if they kept up this perk. Yeah. I wanted to give this another chance and that was possibly the worst mistake I have done. I got the same exact thing like I did a year or two ago and sure my car assumed looked clean. I went to the Menards right next door and you know what. They missed a spot... MY WHOLE ROOF! What a waste of $15 dollars. This isn't tough stuff or rust. It's a build up of dirt and other stuff. It came out with my own spit! I went to the shell gas station next door and got it out using their self wash FOR FREE. Could of done it all myself. What an awful experience. I will not come back. I brought in 2 different vehicles on back-to-back days. Very pleased with the result from the first vehicle and the interaction with the employee at the detailing station. Not all happy on the 2nd day with the 2nd vehicle. Granted it is an older car, but I paid for a service I did not receive. The dashboard and the cup holders are still dirty. Very disappointed!! So I stopped to get gas and a wash. Their with was price showed 3.18 per gal. No where on the pump did they ask if I wanted a wash and charged me 3.23 a gal. Went inside and asked and was told they'd discount our wash. So at the 5¢ a gal difference should hace been 75¢ off the wash. They only took 25¢ off. Therefore this was a bait n switch as I did not get my 15 gallons of gas for the advertised price of $3.18. I guess they figured giving me a free wash within 5 days is good. I don't need a second wash in 5 days. I don't wash my truck every few days. I didn't go in based on getting a free wash. I went in based on the lower fuel price. Bait n switch is not cool. read more

I've been going here for several years and the quality in service has significantly decreased. I was always very pleased with the interior/exterior cleaning services, however I can't say this anymore. Exterior washes are still reliable and I appreciate the hand drying at the end. Interior cleaning is just a poor excuse of a wipe down in my car. I used to leave a happy camper knowing my car was cleaned very thoroughly, yet now I find it's not worth the money to just get a quick wipe down. The gas prices are always great, though! My first time at a delta sonic, I just moved and the inside of my vehicle was quite dirty. I decided to spend $30 on a full interior detail, I paid and they sent me to the customer waiting area. It is so dang hot in here it is uncomfortable, there was a few people waiting outside in the trickling rain because the heat was sickening. Whatever, its cold so they tried to make it cozy with heat. Fine. Then I watch my vehicle pull up to get cleaned and watched the employees sit and talk for 7 minutes before someone made a move to start on my vehicle. They finally just started vacuuming, and another employee drove a car in over the hose and parked it there so now I'm not totally sure if the vacuum is working. I was hoping for the 30 minute interior to be 30 minutes of cleaning, not waiting. I'll update once I get my vehicle on how well they cleaned it. read more

Had to drive across the street to get gas at Shell with .20 cent off per gallon savngs with my jewel rewards. Also my membership for car wash has increased 3 times in the last year and a half. I've wasted my time again! Well on January 20th I was desperate for a car wash and I decided to get a crappy Delta Sonic Car Wash, and it definitely lived up to that name! The wash was terrible. The attendant encouraged me to get the sale, 3 washes for 12 dollars, which seemed like a great deal. But of course I left the wash with a filthy car! I went back and asked for the manager and she kindly refunded my money, replaced my car wash, and gave me several Super Kiss washes for free. So she saw how dirty it was. So the manger was very nice, but the car was filthy every single time I went back. I got another wash a few days ago with the same results. The workers do not take the time to dry the car off or rub the left over dirt off. I see the guys spray air in the other car's mirrors and gas tank area, but they never do mines! So water runs all over the car after I drive away and it dries into a smeared mess. The workers are unmotivated and they really don't care! So it's best to go when it's still sunlight so you can clearly see your wash job!!!! Zero stars! They had the car for over 5 hours! The ceiling, dashboard, around the gear shift, and carpet are filthy. The trunk was never vacuumed and dog hair flying around. If the hair is flying around it should have been sucked up in a vacuum! I paid $149 to get the car detailed as a gift to my daughter. I will never have a car detailed here again nor recommend to anyone. They need a supervisor checking up on these kids doing this job. I got a great deal- buy 1 get 2 free car washes. The exterior wash is just fine. They cloth dry for you. I upgraded this past time to get interior cleaned. It took FOREVER and was less than mediocre. If you want hunky high school football players washing your car, this is the place for you. Delta Sonic has a cool take on the car wash concept. It's a sort of hybrid between hand washing and machine washing and delivers the best wash I've had since moving to Chicago in May. It's not a PERFECT wash, but it's passable. We got the groupon deal for 3 washes but upgraded to a better interior clean due to lots of puppy fur on the inside. They do a decent job but the one time I went with my husband we waited about 40 minutes and they had no A/C on in the waiting area. It was 100 degree day. Time and time again I go and they are worse than the last time! I just paid $37 for super interior steam cleaning and vacuuming and air freshener. It was supposed to be 20 mins - i think they forget there is a window and we can watch..it was done in 10 mins, several were spent chatting with buddies, half-assed attempt with towel to wipe down interior? I was shocked he said he was done already. I asked if they vacuumed trunk and he said let me check and popped it open and said yes, he was only one on car so he would know that he hadn't. The car was still dirty and looks like they only steamed the one side of the car, crumbs still on back seats, dials and inner doors still dirty - he tried telling me it was water - i touched it, it was pop spill stain and sticky. I use Delta Sonic employees as my examples of what good salesmen and saleswomen should be. They always suggest a tire gloss or interior cleaning special or something. I am very upset with location. I asked the attendant how much to clean the inside of my car. I was sitting in the car when I asked him. He said $16.99 but when he took the car and pulled it in he charged me $19.99 since it was an Equinox. Why didn't he tell me that before. Why tell me a different price when you start cleaning my car. That is wrong. I am done with Delta Sonic for everything. Bye. The long over 10 year relationship is over. After I complained they finally gave me my $3.00 back.
