The mechanic Gareth replaced the engine and had the car back in a week (there were other issues as a result of shrapnel shooting out of the block). 600 miles on the 76k used engine and so far no issues. Mr. Hoover (Charles) also let me know, and I trust him, if there's an issue he will make it right. I did consult a couple of other mechanics and they said that the work was being done at a very reasonable price (one said it was cheaper than he could do, especially the price of the engine). Most people need to realize cars a crap shoot. Quality integrity and workmanship is a skill though.
