I bought a car and 2 days after I got the check engine light came on. They said it was an 02 sensor which is not covered by the warranty I bought. They said that I could pay for the parts and they would install it labor free. Well I let them. Then a few days after that the check engine light came on again they said there is nothing they could do. So I am taking it to my own mechanic to what needs to be fixed and have them do it. I think they overcharged me for this car. But hopefully what ever is wrong will not cost too much. read more

I purchased a 2011 Camry from these guys early 2019. 4 years later, the car has had zero issues. Not even a single check engine light (knock on wood). I forgot the salesman's name but he was able to get me a better deal than the pre approval I obtained prior to buying the car. I understand this all pretty much boils down to my fault for not double-checking, but I the dealership is at fault too. I went in December 5th and bought a 2006 trailblazer. It was a quick and easy sell, I came in test drove it paid cash walked out the building. I ran a scan on the engine at the dealership and there was no codes at that time. Fast forward to the next day, check engine light comes on reporting a cylinder misfire. I don't know if they reset the code and I didn't test drive it far enough to we engaged the code or is it generally happened after about the vehicle. although if I was a betting man I'd say they reset the code. Second I tried to activate OnStar and it did not work in my vehicle I suspect it's because there was an aftermarket Bluetooth phone system in it but I'm not sure. I discovered this about a week after I bought the vehicle and would have taken it into the dealership to have it looked at but my mom passed away two days after I bought the truck which led ito planing her funeral, that led into Christmas, New year's.. well on December 5th at 8:05 a.m. some assholes stole my truck and it's not able to be tracked because the OnStar was disconnected and I slipped up by not getting it looked at because of everything that was going on. like I said at the beginning of this review I honestly in responsible for part of this because I didn't double-check it when I test drove but when the dealer says that they inspected vehicles you would think they would have the OnStar activated and don't clear the code on the check engine light right before you sell a vehicle. read more

I also was a victim of the check engine light! Bought a 2013 Toyota Prius for work. The nex day the car violently shook when I started it and the check engine light went on. Called the dealership and they had their mechanic "fix it." Tye next day the light went on again. So called the dealership again and was told we needed to speak with the owner. He returns our call and says he doesn't know what what we done with the car after leaving the lot and he can't do anything about it. I took my car to my mechanic and he found multiple things wrong with my car and even what they supposedly fixed. I've spent over $1000 to fix it and it still keeps having problems. Rhey sold me a lemon and knew it! So basically they clear the check engine lights and sell cars as is! read more

I had a good experience there they made me feel welcomed getting my first car with a reasonable price ( at first ) car ran smooth of a MONTH . Around march 2020 got a pt cruiser & my check engine went on and would not go away . No one could find out what was wrong with it !! How do you sell me a piece of shit ass car . Atleast make it last two years or so !!! 7,000 down the drain !! Never go to a dealership like this ! My experience with the staff at Delta Valley Motors goes beyond what a typical review you would read. I was alerted yesterday on Cargurus that a vehicle on my search parameters was found and I sent them an email that I was interested in getting more information. Tony responded to me within an hour that the vehicle was still available and I called him and we discussed some additional details about the truck I was looking for. Tony was very honest about the condition ( which I thought he was overselling,due to past experiences) but when I drove out to his dealership this morning I was pleasantly proven wrong. The truck was better that I could've imagined, Tony was very hands off and gave me time to inspect the truck and test drive it, but was available if I had any questions. The price was fair and even though the tires on the truck were worn they decided that for my families safety they would replace them. Delta Valley Motors is by far the best experience I had purchasing a vehicle. There was no pressure, they were honest and made me feel like I was the most important customer they had. I test drove the car twice and both were pleasant visits popping in for a quick drive to ensure it was what I wanted. Their website was up to date, and I was able to monitor their vehicle selections and pricing. I stayed in contact with Anthony, as I really wanted the vehicle and as soon as I saw it reduced online I immediately called; completed the online application in 2 minutes; and Anthony called me as soon as he received my approval to move forward. :-) They made sure my car was clean and in tip top shape with no issues prior to me receiving my new car. I am super impressed by this location, and will definitely refer everyone I know to at least look at their inventory before making a decision to purchase from anywhere else. Bad customer services. Salesman wasn't truthful. I've had made an offer with the salesman at time I was there. He agreed to the offer and today I came back from my work site which is 2 hours + away from this fake lying dealership and he told me he can't take the offer that we agreed on. Don't come to this fake, lying dealership to look for the truck or car you need. But if you do make sure you have the salesman write down and sign the offer paper. Make sure it's black and white otherwise you are just wasting your time. Delta Valley Motor doesn't keep their word. DON'T GO THERE!!!! read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! I purchased a 2013 Mustang from them and the same week, while I was driving to Los Angeles the check engine light turned on. I had it checked by a mechanic and it had an evap code, an emissions leak. Not that big of a problem but still after buying it not even a week ago, it was a huge disappointment. I continued my trip to Los Angeles and the next morning the car doesn't start. I ended up buying jumper cables and had to get it jump started the whole way home back to Modesto. I had the battery charged and tested, it needed to be replaced. I contacted the salesman and they said that they would "LOOK" at it if i towed it to them but I'm a diesel mechanic and have all the tools and equipment to make the repairs myself. The point is, that I shouldn't have to start making repairs on a car I just bought not even a week ago. My advice to anyone looking to buy a car, right behind Delta Valley Motors is Hertz car sales. All of their cars come with a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty. Which is actually really good. Don't make the same mistake I made. read more
