When calling to see if they have the tires you want make sure you press option #1 to speak to someone who's actually at the store. Option #2 sends you to a call center. The call center told me they had 4 tires exactly like the ones I was replacing in stock at the store. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time the tires I confirmed the prior day were not available. Had they been I would have paid roughly $1000. The search for my tires turned up empty. My only choice for a comprable set would cost me another $900. read more

Don't bother with this store. It is run like it's in someone's back yard. The first time I bought a tire from this location, they were too busy to put it on my car. I had to go across the street. Yesterday, I made an appointment for 9:30 this morning. I arrived and was told that no one showed up so they could not do the work. They said I could "check back" later. Used for years with no issues. However, the last couple of years has been very disappointing. Took vehicle in for shaking when applying the brakes. I told them to turn the front rotors. They said no, the issue was with the back brakes. No problem, fir it. When I pick it up, $1100 and told me, well, it might still be shaking a little and that I should probably have the front rotors turned. Took another vehicle in, purchased tires, brake work and alignment. got the vehicle back with it pulling hard to the right and a banging under the frontend. Took it back 3 times. Could not find what was making the noise. Then one day one of the front back calipers fell off locking the wheel. Luckily I was in a parking lot and not running down the interstate at 70 mph. Just had another vehicle in there for a check engine light. Probably needs a new gas cap. Believe it or not, that will make all the lights come on. Oh no, i need some engine blower. Now, $2200 later and all the lights as still on. Needless to say I have pretty much had it and will start looking for someone else to service my vehicles, and I have 3. read more

I had the brakes done by Delta World Tire 9 days ago. Went in two days later for balance and rotation. Waited almost two hours. Went to look and my hood was up. Inquired why is the hood up for a rotation and balance. The assistant manager Bentz stated" we don't want you to pay for something you don't need" then presented a work order of $1800. I had the cv axle right side done only. They messed up my car. They must have done the binding thru the steering knuckle my car is hard to steer and now makes noise it didn't before I brought it to them. They had replace motor mounts and oil cover. Went to dealer and they stated 'This is unnecessary your motor mounts are good and your oil is full and no leaks". Tried to find out who the regional manager is for south Ms and get the run around. The cv job needs to be redone correctly they messed up my car. I will continue my search for the regional manager. Both Bentz and the so called manager Tre are rude and unprofessional when I asked questions about the services they wanted to do totalling $1800. They tried to get me to have more work done for much more money. This is a rip off. BEWARE. The work order for proposed work instead of the balance and rotation I went in to have done was both unnecessary and unwarranted. If there were a way to leave a NO STAR review I would do so. I went in for 155.00 alignment and was told I needed 1700.00 worth of work on my car New tires and new struts. Without doing my research on this businesses reputation, I trusted their opinion and told them to go ahead and order the struts and proceed with the repair. I was told to have my car there the next morning and I did as they said the parts would be there the next day and they would replace. I dropped off my car as instructed. The ordered parts did not come in that day and they did not call to inform. When I called to get information I was given multiple excuses and told that they would call back within 15 minutes with details about the arrival of the parts. I had to call back when they did not do so a promised and was told the parts would arrive the next day. The next day they still had my car and no parts and said that they would have them next next day. I told them to forget about it and I would just take my car. After picking up my car from this location and taking it to a repair shop down the road I was told after a full diagnostic that my struts were "perfectly fine" and that I just needed new front tires and could use a alignment for a slight pull but it was not necessary. About a month ago I went into this place to have a car battery ordered. They did not have the battery in stock but said they will order one and have it within a week and would give me a call. A week and half later I call to see if it was in stock. I had the guy check to see if it was there and he said yeah and to come on down to pick it up. Well I showed up to pick up the battery and they did not have the battery in and had not ordered the battery yet. I had them reorder the battery again and left my info again to give me a call. I was told again they would have it in by the end of the week. It has been two weeks since then. I have been waiting for almost a month now. I wouldn't hold my breathe for this place if I was you. Broke down on 603, on the way to cruisin the coast. Being from out of town, it is difficult to find a good mechanic. I called mr chris and felt that he could handle the job. My main pulley fell off the harmonic balancer of my 1966 mustang. We were able to locate the parts and had me up and running for the big weekend. Bad place. New manager is probably worse than the last manager. Two years ago, brought in my Tahoe for a set of Michelins that cost nearly $1000. When I got my car back, there was a three foot scratch on the driver's door. The manager at the time acknowledged the problem and made it good. However, I had to give my car to a body shop for several days and make a couple trips back and forth. You can still see part of the scratch. Two months ago, my neighbor brought his car to them because the aC was not working. He got the usual story: the compressor was bad and it would take over $1000 to fix it. Well, I used to be a mechanic. So I checked it out. Yes, it was low on Freon, but the compressor was not bad. I jumped the clutch and put in a can of Freon. It's been working fine now for the last six weeks. Last week, I needed a set of tires on my work truck. After I picked it up and brought it home, I noticed that none of the valve stems had dust covers on them. Looking closer, I found that only one of the four had been replaced even though I had been charged for all four. So I had to bring it back to get the three other valve stems that I had already paid for. Yesterday, I replaced the rear drums on the truck. In the process of taking off the wheels, I realized that the center caps had been damaged and broken because the yoyo had used an impact on the plastic lug covers. This broke the backings on the beauty covers. Several pieces came off in my hands as I removed the covers. Today, I go back there and show the manager the problem. His excuse was that it was common in older vehicles. I pointed out that the breaks were clearly recent. He actually started to accuse me of breaking them myself. I know better. Beware of this business! I am a master ase certified auto tech and have been working on vehicles for 30 yrs. I brought my 05 Sierra with 77,000 miles to delta tire in bay saint Louis for for a front end alignment. I replaced a bent inner tie rod beforehand and checked the entire front suspension to make sure everything was tight because I know you can't do an alignment with loose suspension components. It was all tight but the other inner tie rod was slightly loose. I mean maybe an 1/8" of play but good enough to to do an alignment. I took it to them and bought 3 tires and told them I needed a front end alignment also. I come back a couple hours later and the tell me that they can't do the alignment because the inner tie rod is about to fall off and all 4 of my ball joints are loose. He preceded to give me prices to fix all this and that's when I stopped him and said hey look, I just checked all this and this is tight! All I found is the other tie rod had very little play, so will you align it? He said no we can't do it until we replace all the ball joints and inner tie rod. So I asked to talk to the technician. So I walked into the shop and talked to this kid who say yeah the inner tie rod is about to fall off and all the ball joints are a little loose. I was going to say something to him but I figured I would take the high road and avoid confrontation. So they charged me $20 to for checking the front suspension and they tried to charge me another $20 for a tire repair that I didn't even authorize! I told them I could have plugged that myself and I have plugs at home so they took that off the bill. So I get home and recheck the front end and as I already knew it was all tight but very little play in one of the inner tie rods. The tire that they said they plugged..... There was no plugs in the tire! So I took the truck elsewhere and they confirmed that the front suspension was tight and the tie rod was not loose enough not to do the alignment. So they did my alignment and sent me on my way. These people at delta are up selling folks out there. I could be wrong but I think they also get a Commision on parts they sell like Sears and tire kingdom. They prey on people who do not know a lot about auto repair mostly women and older people who always buy these unnecessary parts. That's how they make most of their profits. I know I've worked at many of these places when I was younger. Then I went to dealerships which they all do the same scams. Now I'm at a independent repair shop doing mostly drivability and computer related repairs making good $ but I also do other repairs like suspension, brakes, ect. and I do not rip people off like these other places out there. So this is why I want you people out there to be aware of places like these and delta tire in bay saint Louis on hwy 90 Is one you should avoid UNLESS you are just getting tires or oil changes you should be ok. If you do get other services and they try to sell you extra parts, get a second opinion! read more

If you're looking for a good place to get tires, this IS NOT the place to go. About a year ago, I got all new tires put on my car and a few months after that, I got a flat tire. When I brought in my tire, first, they argued with me and told me that I hadn't bought insurance, which I had. After the argument was over and they FINALLY put a new tire on my car, they left the tire that had a hole in it in my trunk and took my spare tire instead. at the time, I didn't know much about cars, so I didn't think to check my trunk to assure they gave me my spare back (which i figured they would have anyway) but they didn't. Well a few days ago, I got a flat and had to plug the tire in order to even get back home (keep in mind, my spare had a hole too because they failed to replace it) and when I tried to get a replacement today, they refused to replace it(even though I had insurance) because they told me the tire had tried to been plugged and therefore, refused me a replacement.
