The call center told me they had 4 tires exactly like the ones I was replacing in stock at the store. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time the tires I confirmed the prior day were not available. Had they been I would have paid roughly $1000. The search for my tires turned up empty. My only choice for a comprable set would cost me another $900.

That kept taking other autos ahead of it so we went and picked it up and took it somewhere else. I asked the front desk person if it was standard to do people this way he just lied and said they had been busy. I know they had been taking other cars ahead of even looking at ours as I spoke to a customer while I was there. The guy at the desk was rude and unapologetic. I would never do business with those people.

The next day while traveling she had a blowout on the drivers side front tire near Livingston, AL on I59. She did not run over anything, it was just a defective tire. The van was towed to a tire store in Livingston that inspected the tire and determined it was defective. They replaced it with different brand, (Toyo). I called Bayou Motors the next day and explained what happened. They said my wife must have hit something and they were not responsible. I will never patronize this business again.

The mechanics have been great, but I feel as if customer service has been thrown out the window. I should have been called and kept up to date on the progress of getting parts, and now getting the work done. I have complained to several people--names I will not share, but nothing has changed. I really like the mechanics here. They do great work and are fairly quick about it too. I just wish they were quick about work they have already started, but as of yet not finished.

They said they could . They have 4 double bays, two for lube - there was one car in one bay, and one car in front of the other bay. The guy who wrote the order said they were being slow today but it should be done in less than an hour - seemed a bit long for the few vehicles in the shop but I decided to go for it and grocery shop while waiting. they finished the car in front of me in about 15 to 20 mins and moved my truck onto the lift at 4:28 I asked when they were going to start on mine - the guy at the counter said there were 2 cars ahead of me ( meanwhile my truck had been parked over the lift for over an hour now meaning that entire bay had been unused and unusable for that entire time ). Told them to just give me my keys: he said I needed to go tell one of the mechanics in the shop area. Went into the shop and there was no one in the entire shop area. Went back inside and told the manager I needed my keys - he went out and found someone to move my truck outside. At 4:35 when I drove off, there was only a single person in the shop area and NO ONE working on any vehicles. I understand that this is not a repair station; that the people working there are underpaid; that the conditions are not good; that it is thankless work in which there are no incentives to do good work or be efficient; but all of that is on WalMart. Avoid this place like the plague
