My one star is based on calling this location at opening time (7am) to get pricing and availability on 4 new tires. During the call I felt that the customer service rep was not happy with her job that day. After she did get pricing and availability, she said she would call me back after she talked to the shop manager. Well.....never got a phone call. I was going to spend $2000 of my hard earned money here, but I guess they didn't need my business. Sorry you hate your job, I hope things start getting better for you. read more

Traveling from San Antonio to Daytona Florida. We got a flat tire on our motor home. They got us in & out quickly. We had a loose tire stem. They repaired it at no charge. I pulled up on a Saturday right before closing, and I needed a valve stem for a tractor trailer tire. I ran into two gentlemen outside, and they immediately asked if they could help. They could not have been more kind. I've never dealt with them before, but this set a great precedent, and I'll be back if I need tires or parts. Thank you! Went in today to get my tire patched from a nail. Most shops I've been to don't charge anything and if they do it's under $15. This shop charged me $30. Not only that I was told there would be a 30-45 minute wait. It took them an hour to look at it and another 30 minutes to get the work done. Really disappointed with the service here and the price. I won't be back. I'd recommend any other place to get a routine patch work done. read more

We took our truck in because of a breaking vibration, rear brakes and about $2000 more in some aluminum parts. When we go to pick up the truck the technician takes it out to test drive, comes back to tell us it has a vibration and that was the first time he drove it. Fast forward, the parts replaced are loose and we still have the break problems. Never again! read more

We came in for tires on a Tuesday, they didn't even begin to look at them until after the two hours was up and we came back, and then was told for four days we'd have tires in and promised we'd get a call. no call, the front desk woman answers the phone with "hey" or a smart allelic "yes this is the tire mart...?" never called back for the tires and never received them! Don't go here if you want respect and fast service. read more

Im very disappointed in this southern Tire Mart. I have been going here for years and the service is getting worse. They service my oil changes, tire rotations and brakes. I bought a new set of tires less than 2 years ago and 2 of the tires treads have worn considerably more compared to the other 2. to the point of being bald. I have been taking them in for rotation and oil change every time my oil change is due. The last time I went in for the oil change and tire rotation I showed them the tires and said this cant be right for two tires to wear out like this and they are not even close to their tread life. One of the sales persons agreed and went to the supervisor and asked to replace them under warranty and he came over and aggressively said that my car has needed an alignment and thats why they are worn out and they will not warranty them. NOT ONCE has anyone said or told me I needed an alignment. I even said that to them and they didnt even respond when i asked that question. To me it looked like the person helping me knew that I was being screwed over. So I took my car to not one but 2!!!! tire companies and both of them said that no I did not need an alignment, and that the way my tires wore out was not due to an alignment or being under inflated or anything and that it looks like I got 2 faulty tires. Second reason I wont go there anymore. I took my vehicle in about 6 months ago and said I believe I need new brakes please check my brakes and replace them if needed. They came back and told me I needed rear brakes and rotors. So I asked them about the front brakes they said I didn't need them. I asked if they were over half life and if so just replace them. they said I only needed the rear done. low and behold just 1 week later my car is making a grinding noise and the front of the car when i brake. So I ran to the nearest shop and they said i needed front brakes bad and that my rotors were warped so i went to another place to double check because STM said i didnt need them and the other place said I did and the 3rd shop said I needed them bad. so what the heck is going on where STM cant even tell if i need new brakes or not? They do not stand beside their work or their products. They treat women like we are idiots. Ian not and idiot and grew up working on vehicles with my dad and grandpa. I know what i am talking about and I will never go there again. After years of shitty service i have finally had enough. I normally do not post bad reviews but their lack of service and knowledge needed to be shared so others do not waste their hard earned money. read more

Absolutely one of the worst experiences we have had on the road. Scheduled an alignment and tire rotation on out motorhome. Shortly after arrival and entry to the alignment bay, the alignment tech could not find the specs on our Coach. Thankfully, the Hunter systems rep happened to be on site and showed them how to do the alignment, but they were not able to get the adjustment done...couldn't release the adjustment mechanisms. This was just the start! Over to the tire rotation bay. What a mess. To make a long story short, the tech they had do the rotations was lost. Did not balance the rear tires before installation, had a leak in one of the front tires after installation. Absolutely trashed my aluminum Alcoa wheels. Not even an offer of compensation. Was a two hour appointment and ended up being six. Not done yet. After we got back to out RV park, the next day we noticed our inside left dual tire was flat. They sent a tech out, and found out they damaged the valve stem on install. Still not done...the next day, I was near the front right tire when I heard a "thunk," and looked under the Coach and found out the balancing weights they had stuck on fell off. Apparently they didn't clean the area to install the weights. Had to go back to the shop two days later to get the fronts rebalanced. The guy that did the rebalance was pissed off...every time the shop manager came around he would get real loud and say something like why don't you fire the guy that did this. He was not happy...nor was I. Even the shop manager told me that these guys are not used to working on Coaches, just usually junk semi's. That is not the way they advertise, and it should not matter what you have...they should treat everyone the same, but I guess their level of treatment is at the lowest end of the spectrum. Bottom line...if you can avoid this Southern Tire Mart in Biloxi, MS do so at all costs! read more

Had a tire blowout on our travel trailer while passing thru, got southern tire recommended by the towing company. I couldn't be happier with the fast and immediate service I got. They brought my camper in right away and had me back on the road within 30 minutes. Very friendly service and very quick to help out even with them being very busy. It also helped that they do handle nitrogen service for tires as well! That is good to know since a lot of places don't do nitrogen. read more

The guys at this shop take excellent care of my vehicle! I've never had any issues with any work done here and my 10 year old Jeep still runs like new. They will answer any questions you have and explain what you don't understand. They don't make appointments, but the waiting areas are clean, there are vending machines available and they offer a courtesy shuttle service if you need to drop off your vehicle. read more
