First time to visit Deluxe H.D, I thought what a nice set up. A floor person asked could she help and I said ya I'll buy this t shirt. She sent me to a cashier in the back. Nobody at the counter and she said I'm busy. Then this guy with a red face says you look like a pig farmer. Then the cashier that was to busy to check me out steps out from the counter and says I need to look at this. The people that i encountered today are self absorbed and out of touch. Don't go here, not even for a T-Shirt. 24 June 2023 I arrived in Gillette, WY from Washington State with my daughter. My bike developed a horrible whine in the primary (2001 Road King). There was a tornado coming this day and 2" hail for our area. I went to the dealer to ask if they would help me figure out where the noise was coming from so, I could decide what to do. I spoke to the service manager (tall guy with a long beard) he refused to even listen to the bike in the parking lot. He wouldn't even lend me a stethoscope so I could listen myself. Then I asked him if there were any other places, I could go and HE LIED! He said there are no other places in town. There is another shop 3.9 miles away called Rangs Cycle. This dealer was willing to leave my daughter and I stranded with a tornado and 2" hail because they have beef with another shop and THEY LIED to us. Rangs Cycle held the door open for us (with a tornado coming) and took my bike in. My daughter and I got a room and they kept the bike overnight. Kris (owner and mechanic) came in the next day when they were scheduled to be closed and out of town. For $500.00 I got a new clutch hub and race barring. I was back on the road the next day. This dealer didn't rip me off. They just flat-out refused to serve me. I was 1,400+ miles from home on my first multi-state motorcycle ride when I noticed that the rear tire of my Suzuki DR650 dual-sport motorcycle was just about shot. It was fine when I left home but the extra weight of my camping gear and the high temps must have caused to go prematurely. I asked the service department if they could order/install a tire for me and was told; "We can order it for you but we can't install it. Our machine can't handle a 17" tire". This excuse doesn't hold water. Their showroom has bikes with tires from 16" to 21". Maybe they think my motorcycle bombed Pearl Harbor? Maybe they're afraid their tools will catch communism if they come into contact with a "yellow" bike? Instead of helping me they sent me to a local Can-Am dealer. These people were just as shocked as I was. "Why'd they send you here? We don't even sell motorcycle tires". Good one guys. Very funny. That was the end of my trip. I back tracked to Rapid City where a less racist/ignorant dealer changed my tire in exchange for a wad of US Dollars. Capitalism is nice. Race-based capitalism...not so nice. I'm from out of town and my motorcycle broke down 200 miles away. I had it towed here and the service department not only fit me in but determined it was a recall issue and did the service for nothing. Great dealership!! read more

To those that don't understand why they won't put tires on anything but Harleys is because their techs are trained on HD only & are not allowed to due to liability issues. Thank the sue happy lawyers. There is a 4 x 12 ft sign on the wall in the service dept from Harley-Davidson explaining why they are not allowed to mix & match tires from different company's or even different series from the same company. They have been to court in the past for trying to help someone out by doing just that. You can only install matching front & rear tires or risk lawsuits. Handling issues may result from disregarding this. They are trying to keep you safe & keep their dealership. read more

My headlights went out on my way to Florida. The service department got me right in, found the problem and back on the road quickly. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I was reminded of this experience, after reminiscing about Sturgis today with a good friend who has been there for the past 30 years in a row. We were both in agreement, that this place is like a giant spider web, waiting for the next snack to come along on 2 wheels. The same rings true for their Casper and Sundance locations. If you have problems with your ride, while cruising any of these areas, you're better off using your bandana, pixie dust and some spit as a temporary fix, to get you to a REPUTABLE establishment for a proper repair. If you do decide to bring your bike to DELUXE, then I suggest you also bring some astro glide, to make your experience more comfortable ;-) Ride on baybee!!! read more

If I could rate this a "0" star I would. Harley Davidson is a family. It started with a family and we continue to ride as a family. I cannot tell you how many times I have rode on long trips, only to find a road gremlin doing something to the bike where I need to turn off and get something fixed or checked at a local dealer. There are those 90% of dealerships who have checked my bike, fixed my flat, or repaired a part for me. This is NOT one of those dealerships. Bad on y'all for taking advantage of a fellow rider who told me you basically robbed him to get him to buy two new tires, when all you had to do was fix a flat. And for a veteran? Should be ashamed. We (the larger Harley Community) have been appalled at your lack of compassion and your blatant desire to make a buck than to help someone. And the fact that you delete these post show that you are more concerned on what others think, than do actually right the wrong. All Harley Riders: Ignore this place. read more

I've never been to a dealership that put so much effort into making you feel welcome, even if you're "just looking". I've been here several times and so far my biggest purchase was a set of rain gear yet every time I walk in the staff is super friendly and I've dealt with everyone from the janitors to the owner and about everyone in between. They will get my next new bike purchase without question. read more

Stay away from the service department here. They are only waiting for you to break down and make you pay thousands to get you back on the road, without giving you any options aside from the ones that cost an eye and that benefit them the most. I'm ashamed of having Deluxe as a representative of the Harley Davidson brand. I hope you never have a problem close to them or you are going to get screwed. read more

Too bad I can't leave a review with fewer stars. This dealership sets the bar for bad service and worse treatment of veterans. The employees of the service department (this term is used in appropriately by this dealership) ripped me off while I was traveling through the area. Broke down and they tossed my money at the issue until the bike felt sorry for me and started running again. Then when I asked about a vets discount like lots of dealerships offer, they said, I'll find out, and then charged my card the full amount 2 minutes later without speaking to his boss about the discount. When I asked again, he said, sorry, it's already gone through. read more

I won't be stopping by any of his three setaler, I mean dealerships. They ripped my friend Dutch off. They knew he was a long way heading home. He had one flat tire and said they could not just sell him one tire due to the tread mismatch. Weak! He was sold two tires one of them to replace his nearly new E3. Going home to Reno, NV after leaving the Sturgis 75th Anniversary Rally in the Black Hills of South Dakota we had an ignition problem (?) with our 2013 Trike. There was a line, understandably (due to the rally) but the shop technicians were working very hard to get to our bike. They even gave us free sodas while we waited at the tables under the shade, in the repair shop lot. We met several nice people that we never would have met if we hadn't had a break-down, too. Fortunately, we are now, as I write this, and after 2 hours, we are at the head of the line! I shopped inside the store and purchased several items for souvenir gifts, and as a girl, it's always great to shop. They couldn't find a problem with the motorcycle and suggested that we should have it looked at in Reno when we got home. At least we had peace of mind that the problem was checked-out and it turns out that it was a mind trip. Everyone here is SOOO PLEASANT. read more

Go anywhere else at all cost if you are from out of state and break down. I had a flat and they forced me to replace BOTH tires even though Dunlop and HD in Milwaukee said the tires were fine to run together. "both tires or no tires" Highway Robbery at its finest!!!! Never again. My other tire was only 45 days old :( read more
