We used this company for prom this year, and they saved us from a major debacle with another company! They were kind, caring, professional and extremely accommodating, especially under the last minute circumstances. We were able to send out kids off to the prom in good hands, with no worries! Worst experience ever!! They said I was going to get a brand new limo that was black. They rolled up with an old dirty limo, cracked windows, stereo broken. You actually told me on the phone that you purchased a new black stretch limo. And the windows were cracked! Two of them, I ran my finger over them. And I'm not racist I spoke of the driver being unprofessional looking. That's not racism! BTW In my limo I had a large diverse group of people. So please do not lie. I had been in contact with Ed for the past month regarding 2 limo services I needed, one for a wedding dinner for 6 hours and bachelor for 4 hours. He emailed me prices which are shown in emails. Today he calls me to go over information and asks for my card, thankfully I asked for price totals, the prices he gave me were $400-$500 more than what he quoted me in said emails! When I asked him he got very aggressive and started talking in circles. Happy to take my business elsewhere!!! Be careful when booking, prices given in emails will not be reflected. I booked this company for a corporate holiday event. They never showed up leaving us high and dry. We lost the money spent for a show in Boston. When called the gentlemen was not helpful or professional and stated since it was flurries outside they would not drive. I will be taking legal action to recoup the list funds. However if you want to book with a company that cares for its customers and is professional look elsewhere. If you book with Deluxe Limousine they decide if they will show up. I spent a lot of money and Wasn't impressed at all with the unkept driver, the dirty limousine and it's audio system. Won't happen ever again!! Didn't order a Cadillac limo, didn't ask for the deflated balloons, I paid for the dirty limo and the bummy, cocaine taking driver who was high when he arrived, the limo was dirty, the so called cups that was left by previous guests, a driver who didn't know how to work audio!! You were the designated driver so what did it matter about the drinking? Furthermore, you've seen worse than a clothing behind stuck out a limo while your on the clock, and I stand by what I said!! I'm sorry if me stating my disappointment equated to erratic. January 25, 2016 Update to this review: Ed did reach out to me finally about this issue. The $175 tip that was added to my credit card 2 days after the trip without my permission was refunded. He says has every intention of accommodating us next Holiday season if we chose to use his company again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used this service last year and had no problem so booked them again this year. Big problem! I was taking my 3 sons and their girls into NYC to see a show on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Holiday gift to grown children. I booked the limo as 7 of us couldn't fit in one car. I wasn't spending all that on show tickets and then traveling in 2 cars. I wanted the whole day together as part of the experience. I looked up the length of the show and saw it was 2:45. Allowing for time to get out to street I asked for a 5:00 pick up. We were actually out by 4:50, but I waited. When our driver didn't arrive by 5:10 I called him. His response was "oh, you're out, I'll come now." Long story short. He didn't arrive until 6:00. I called and called and he wouldn't tell me where he was, just that he was on his way. It was cold and raining, and we stood on the sidewalk in the rain waiting for an hour. This was a costly gift and it didn't go well. I tipped him poorly, for poor service provided. Last week I received my credit card bill. This company charged me an extra $175 2 days after service provided for the tip. I paid the tip in cash and charging an unauthorized amount to my credit card is fraud. I am now fighting to get this back. Buyer beware- do not use this company! read more

Went to reserve a limo for my friend's bachelor party, wanted to make a truly memorable experience he would cherish for the rest of his life. Did my research with Deluxe in advance, settled on a vehicle, confirmed reservation on my cell phone and was told I would be e-mailed Monday week of, with drivers name and picture, and picture of limo. I send follow up email beforehand with details, asking for confirmation, and Monday the week of party I get email saying RECEIVED. Being cautious, I worried when nothing else was sent, so I called company on Tuesday, and imagine my surprise when I'm told first 1) you have no reservation, and then 2) sorry, you DO have a reservation but we cancelled your limo and gave u a standard van. A van. For my friends bachelor party. After explaining to the operator that this was unacceptable and perhaps the worst business practice I had ever seen; that by waiting this long and saying nothing they had made it impossible for me to get any vehicle even remotely fairly priced at this stage, their response was "I'm sorry, wasn't me". Of course I asked for follow up with owner, which never came. I will be boycotting this service from now till it crumples under the weight of it's own stupidity and laziness, and will be asking all my friends in the area to do the same. They will try to get every penny out of you and throw a ton of BS out there just to keep the money you gave them. They gave my CC company fake documentation as well. The guys at Deluxe Limo were great! I used their services twice last month and was not let down in anyway. The first was a drop off into Manhattan. Our driver was early for pick up did not rush us to get on the road. The second was a quick ride to our wedding venue. A different driver this time, again early for pick up and never rushed us out. Both drivers were very friendly and professional! Working with this company is easy. It was a call in, I told Ed what I needed, and from there it was email messages with all details. Ed couldn't have been more helpful & accommodating and a gorgeous limo arrived to take the 5 girls to dinner & shopping. Their driver, Marc, was excellent. He related well to the girls and they thought he was great and fun and he treated them like ladies! They were able to play their own music in the limo and truly had one of the best nights ever. We had booked this limo service a few days prior to a religious function in Hartford involving five girls from a soccer team (this was the only unbooked limo service we could find at this late date, and during a busy time of the year- proms, graduations, weddings etc., and now we know why). Five twelve and thirteen year olds, eagerly awaiting a limo ride to meet friends at a special event. Limo not early, limo not on time, limo late. We deliberately booked a 4:30PM ride for a 5:00PM-9:00 PM event, twenty minutes away from pickup location. We had to call to find out why the limo was late- Deluxe didn't show the courtesy to call us. Told us the prior party refused to depart the limo. Didn't know for sure when they could get them out and over to pick us up. Waited another ten minutes, talked again, still couldn't give us a definitive answer as to when they could arrive. Thought "maybe" they could get to us an hour late- , which would put the girls almost an hour late for a four hour event. Told them that was unacceptable, and we were cancelling ride. Also told them what poor customer service they had to not call earlier, when they knew they couldn't get to us anywhere near on time. They also had a very unapologetic, almost aggressive demeanor. Had to drive girls to event ourselves, they were late by over twenty minutes as it was. Had to wait almost four hours to pick them up (the limo service did offer to pick them up, but what was the point paying for a one way trip when we had two cars now in Hartford as the limo was supposed to drop us and another couple off at dinner after the girls got dropped off at their event). Five heartbroken girls missed what was supposed to be the ride of their lives. Completely amazed at how companies like this stay in business. Hope the limo driver got one helluva tip from the previous party for letting them stay in the limo and forgetting about us (if this story is even true- who knows?) Not to mention the lack of courtesy displayed by not calling us to update the situation, and making us contact them to find out why there was a problem arriving on time/at all. Should change the name to "Leave You Stranded" Limo Service. And they take an arrogant, borderline rude, attitude for their own mistakes. My wife emailed the owner two days later. Still waiting for a response. Don't know if the guy is embarassed for the complete lack of service, or just a bad businessman. My advice, if you need a limo, go ANYWHERE but here. I will never use this company again. A family reunion was planned for June 20th in Long Island, n.y. We booked this company in late Feb/early March for the day from Longmeadow, Ma. Round trip. We gave the "owner" $175. Cash on the $1100. As a deposit. The receipt said no refunds. So the coronavirus shut down the states and gatherings. You would think this company would decide to " do the right thing " and refund the cash deposit. Not only would they NOT but refused to respond to emails and phone calls. Sacrificed a cash paying customer for an $1100. Future job for $175. In his pocket. I hope the IRS is listening. We gave him the cancelation notice in April. This was the best decision I made when planning my Wedding....They really treated us like royalty. From the start...They picked me up at my mom's house where they rolled out a red carpet! so I wouldn't get my dress dirty walking out to the car...the driver carried my train so that my Mom and Bridesmaids could get themselves and all our stuff into the limo comfortably. We arrived at the church just on time. the driver went in and helped my bridesmaids walk in at the correct time and made everything flawless (we didn't have a wedding planner). I had a white runner rolled out just before I came down and they made sure it was secure as the groomsman who brought it down did not know how to do that part. The driver came out (I'm sorry I can't remember their names) and got my mother and I (she walked me down the aisle) and helping to reassure us, being nervous, they told us exactly when to head down the aisle. After the ceremony we did a receiving line in the church and they brought my Hubby and I cold water also helping to direct flow of traffic out of the church. Afterward, they shut the church doors, gave us a moment to collect ourselves and then opened the doors for us as we walked out while everyone cheered. They brought us ice cold water during pictures as well and then even set up a champagne toast for our wedding party and ourselves! All apart of what Deluxe does....REALLY worth every penny. Looking back we all agreed that this was the best choice we made; like a Wedding planner and Limo service in one! They also drove us to Boston and back for our Honeymoon flights and what a wonderful service that was! We had come off a 16.5 hour flight and Melanie had cold water waiting for us in the Limo and was waiting for us right in baggage claim. Truly special service right here! read more

We were traveling from California for the Holidays and booked car service from our NYC hotel to Westfield, MA on December 21 for 5 adults. After speaking with Ed, and not knowing if the weather would cooperate, he sent a roomy, comfortable large SUV that would be able to blow through anything. Luckily, the weather cooperated, and we had a very enjoyable ride with plenty of room for the 5 of us and our luggage. Trevor, our driver was terrific. He was courteous, professional and it was a joy to ride with him -- we even left NYC 2 mins before the scheduled 2:00 p.m. pickup time. He was gracious and attentive to our needs (i.e., bathroom breaks!!)  We made good time and managed to get home in time for dinner with our family.  We so appreciate everything you did and we will definitely use your services again should the need arise. read more

No show; no call; no answer; No good. If you need the gory details ... I booked the limo 5 weeks ahead. A 50% deposit was charged to my credit card. I confirmed the reservation a week ahead by e-mail and was assured all was in order. At that time DLS charged the balance plus an unauthorized 20% tip to my credit card. The pick-up time came and went - no limo, no phone call. During the following 45 minutes, I called the driver's cell phone twice, and the DLS main phone number once. No answer, just voicemail. All three messages went unanswered. We cobbled together alternate transportation for the group and left. Two days later, "Ed" from DLS left a message on my home phone asking me to call. When I did, "Ed" was not there. I have disputed the two charges to my credit card. If I could leave zero stars I would. They basically tell you and promise you whatever you want to get you to book. Once you book they don't get back to you. From the beginning, I booked for a limo to pick my husband and I up after our wedding. After they messed up the first time they tried to fix it by saying they'd pick us up in a limo instead of a car at the end of our night.. when I already booked and paid for a limo. The day of the wedding the driver had no idea how to use the radio for us to hook up our phones for music.. so my bridesmaids spent half the trip trying to figure it out and his driving was awful. Some bridesmaids and groomsmen (two different trips) felt like they were going to get sick the whole way... He also asked us for directions.. Really? But the best part was in the middle of our wedding night THEY TEXT ME TO TELL ME THEY WEREN'T COMING TO PICK US UP! you know.. because every bride keeps her cell phone on her during the most important day of her life. Met with the owner on our first visit. We picked out 2 matching limos and even asked them to double check their availability for our date that was several months out. We decided to go with them after asking them to document which limos we were booking in writing. On our Wedding day I was picked up in a limo that was not only the wrong color, but a different company's that the driver said Deluxe had subcontracted. My wife's limo was also not one of the 2 we ordered. The night was supposed to end with a Town Car (bench seat to snuggle in). We did not get that either... ended up in some kind of stretch SUV with separate seats. Absolute failure!!! Not a man of his word!!! After voicing our sincerest disappointment to the owner, he lied to us saying that the limos we had requested (probably the newest and nicest in his fleet) both had broken A/C's. We were eventually sent a small partial refund check that was never signed so we couldn't even cash. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST LIMO SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN! So the story starts on May 6 2017, my prom night. We had 6 people who paid $80 a piece and we were all expecting a great ride to prom... well that wasn't the case. We received a picture of "our limo" a few days before, the picture we got was worthy of paying this much money which by the way was paid for by the students attending prom only, when the limo came it wasn't the one he had sent a picture of, our real limo was dirty, smelled like body odor and none of the lights or speakers worked inside. When we tried to call Ed about the issue he would not answer and 40 minutes of our time that we had paid for was wasted trying to reach him, we then finally got a hold of him. The background sounded like he was at a party of some sorts, it was very loud and he basically said that there was no guarantee of what limo we receive. This is unfair since he specifically sent us a picture of a limo that we would be arriving to prom in. After prom, we got an email back from him saying that it was our fault for not reading the contract we signed. Oh yeah and by the way he never sent a contract so that is also more bullshit. After being extremely unprofessional he refunded half the money back and was still very rude about it. DO NOT USE THIS LIMO SERVICE!!! Ed is a sad excuse for a limo professional. On Oct 14, 2017, a group of 12 ladies were celebrating my friend's 50th birthday for a night out in Boston. The limo driver (female) arrived on time and was very cordial. We thought we were in for a treat BUT, that was not the case. As soon she started driving it felt like the bottom of the limo was about to drop on the ground. It was LOUD and we were skeptical at that point but hoped for the best. Well, NO improvements. The air conditioning was not fully operational ( it was hot) and it was unclean inside. The inside party lights were only working on one side and there was a sticky residue on the complimentary drinking glasses. It was DISGUSTING!!!!!! My friend (the birthday girl) and myself notified Deluxe Limosine Service about all of our issues the next day. Ed was not available initially to speak with but finally had a short conversation with my friend - still unresolved. To this day, she has emailed, called him and he has NOT RETURNED her messages. If I could give a minus rating to this company and in particular the owner Ed, I would. We all realize things aren't always perfect but great customer service is a MUST in any business. Deluxe Limosine Service has FAILED in all categories! Ed the owner wrote a bogus response to this review. He lied stating he took the initial phone call -the person that answered said Ed was out of town but that he would try to reach him to address the issue. My fiance at the time was in charge of getting the limo.He spoke to the guy in charge and was impressed. When the paperwork reached my hands, i noticed there was nothing about the color. We specified that we need a white limo for our wedding day. The answer from the clerical woman was "we will do everything we can to make this happen" and " we will make sure your day will be special." I could not get a straight "yes you will have a white limo" answer. My husband spoke to the boss man again and he assured us there would be no problems with the color. Wedding day came and the limo was white with a black roof,and it was good enough for me, it looked great. I just didn't want all black color limo. I was happy and as a gift to us we had a town car but in our case the same limo came back after the event to pick us up and drop is off at our final destination. This was a real treat and we were impressed. Kelen the driver was very nice and accommodating and pulled the runner out for us in the church. He set up an elegant table and red carpet for the champagne toast after church and was in a great mood and was the perfect limo driver. He was my "personal assistant" and carried the train of my dress when we went to take pictures as well as stayed near me for all my other needs, which i did have.
