There are 2 problems with this company: 1.The rebate for purchasing the checks came several weeks after the checks arrived. I need the label on my package to file for the rebate. Who keeps the packaging? Nothing was mentioned when I ordered the checks. 2. My Deluxe checks were supposed to be secure--couldn't be copied. I placed the order on the phone. I just looked online. The checks that were sent are not the secure holographic checks. They are just checks with a gold band. I'm disgusted that I paid for these checks and didn't get what was what I thought I ordered. I foolishly trusted the salesperson. My bank would have sent me more checks, but not the secure kind, for free. I certainly won't use this company again. They deserve no stars. read more

Quick printing service, but don't expect the shipping to be fast. They ship your checks out with no tracking number. So have fun trying to locate them. Your entire bank account is vulnerable until you get these in hand. Shipped out 7/5 and they estimate deliver by 7/20. Unacceptable. read more

Do NOT order checks from this company! I ordered checks in May and never received them, then had to cancel that group of checks with my bank. Deluxe reordered another batch that I was to receive in June, which I again NEVER received. When I called to check on them in July - there was no explanation for what had happened to my order. I asked to cancel and get a refund. They said I was out of luck, their policies have changed and won't refund for checks that I NEVER received. So they basically stole my money. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered checks form them. After one month no checks. I had to go to my bank cancel the checks and order again. It is now the 20th of the next month and still no checks. I called and they say they will do nothing until the 27th. It does not take that long to ship anything from MN. Just spoke with customer service and was fortunate enough to get the nicest, sweetest rep on earth. That being written, I'm flabbergasted by the COST. Two boxes of "artisan" personal checks for my institution/zip code -- because apparently we're all being charged what the market in our areas will bear -- is roughly $82. I could get another artisan check, one I prefer, from a different service -- two boxes for $13, but apparently in Illinois, a cancelled check is necessary when ordering -- too bad I don't have one. The bank doesn't return them anymore. Deluxe says I am paying for print quality -- which I don't dispute and 100% satisfaction, which I'm sure is impossible when I am paying something like 635% more. Ordered checks and name and address field were misaligned, about 1-3/8" from left margin instead of matching the bank logo. Rep tried to blame it on the space being for a logo. I doubt anyone looked at it before then sent. POOR TYPESETTING. read more

The product is decent but their shipping is horrid. I have ordered business forms several times from this company and never once has their package arrived when they said it would. I have asked for normal shipping as well as paid through the teeth for expedited shipping and it always, always comes at least a day past when they claim it is supposed to be here. When I call to ask why???? They tell me that they can't control UPS. If you are going to charge what you charge for the shipping, you better find a way to meet expectations. For years my business used Nebs without any complaints. Changed their name to Deluxe. Seemed unchanged until my last order with them. I was sent a reorder reminder with a discount. My order was to be $100.46. My credit card was charged $174.99. I called & their excuse was my last order was a few years ago, but the reorder reminder was sent a month ago. Seems illegal. This is Andy from A&S Automotive in Rome NY,I have been doing business with Deluxe for a long time from buying checks to oil reminder stickers and have always been treated good.I called them to reorder checks and they told me $333.04 for 500 checks,and a couple of years ago I ordered a 1000 checks for $250.00 + tax and told the associate that I was on the phone with that I paid $250.00 for a 1000 the last time I ordered them and if he had made a mistake on the price and he said no.So I had to order them as I was getting low on them and didn't have time to look around for another company to make them.Well I deal with Quickbooks for my program here at my shop and they make the same printable checks as Deluxe. Quickbooks $59.99 for 500 and a 100 free.$89.99 for 1000 plus 200 free get my drift.You might want to shop around a bit before doing business with them as there not as cheap as one would think.I will not buy from them again,thank you. read more

I have a wedding officiant business and recently began searching for a company to design a new website for me and ran across an email from Virtual Reality about a webinar on the topic. I tuned in and decided to contact the company that hosted the webinar. I was fairly surprised to learn it was Deluxe. I should have known better but thought the only product they had was printing checks for businesses. I asked for follow-up contact and Anthony Galvin was very into my situation and answered all my questions with empathy and clarity. I decided to take the next step. Once he connected me with Kirsten Wilson, the experience went to another level. Initially, I must admit, I kept wondering when will this experience take a detour and not be so great - based upon my experiences with others. To my delight there was no detour. Kirsten is absolutely unbelievable. She guided me through the process, answered my questions, got back to me when needed in short order, gave me options and was so very, very pleasant and friendly and accommodating until the happy end. I feel EXTREMELY FORTUNATE to have had her as my Website Coordinator. As far as I am concerned she is SOLID GOLD to your company. She represents Deluxe like a true ambassador. This was MY website but she put so much thought and passion into that I remember one conversation which made me think, "If I didn't know better I'd think we're designing HER website." She is that valuable. Attempted to order checks from Deluxe on-line; their system completely scrambled the routing number, account number, and even got my city wrong I placed an order for checks for my trust account using Deluxe's website on Monday, January 13, 2013. After providing the account number, the bank routing number, and the bank, and my contact information (including my name, address, phone number, and e-mail address). I was looking forward to receiving my checks in due course. On January 14, 2013, I received a phone call from a woman in the bank processing unit, who told me that Deluxe could not process my order because I had provided an invalid account and routing number. I asked her to verify the information -- she read back a routing number that was completely invalid (more than nine numbers), and an account number that was no where close to what I had given her. When I asked how her system was able to make errors of this type, she couldn't answer. I told the employee that I could not do business with a company that made such extreme errors unless I understood why those errors occurred. Mr. Richie told me that someone from Deluxe would get back to me. The next afternoon, a senior member of Deluxe's team got back to me, straightened everything up, and said she would be able to process everything so that I get my materials in a timely manner. Overall, it appears that everything may work out; however, the process was quite a pain the the anus. read more

I would not recommend using Deluxe. Ever. The website is lacking and atrocious. It doesn't allow you to make the checks look acceptable. You cant even left justify the name and address, it is centered on the left half of the check. It just looks terrible, but there's no way to fix it. They won't allow you to see a preview if you customize the checks at all. No idea how the logo looks or the font. The only thing worse is that they're also overpriced. My guess is that Chase is getting a serious kickback for using them. read more

Terrible company. Liars and crooks. My bank's website routes you directly to Deluxe when you go to re-order checks, and the bank has negotiated some kind of special deal where it absorbs $40 or so of the [ridiculous] $60 cost Deluxe pretends to charge for a simple check re-order -- BTW, this is $60 for absolutely basic checks, no pictures, no funny graphics, no coloring, nothing. Well, okay, the bank's taking $40 of that $60, so, whatever, right? Yes, until you get to the "check-out" page, and Deluxe adds back $47 for "shipping and handling" your order. There is absolutely no way it could cost Deluxe $47 to "ship" or "handle" a flat box of checks. It's outrageous for them to pretend so. The company is mislabeling; engaging in unfair and deceptive business practices. I've notified my State Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and I urge others to do the same. read more

If I could give them one star I would. This is the worst printing company. Before I ordered some printed envelopes with my custom logo I chatted with one of their reps to make sure they could do what I wanted and they assured me they could. Their website looks very professional so I thought they would be good, boy was I wrong. After I placed my order I sent them an email again explaining exactly what I wanted with images and all, again they assured me it would get done. Even after that I had a brief email conversation with them again explaining what I wanted, again they assured me they could do it. I received my envelopes today and they were printed in black ink only, I specifically ordered them in full color. So I thought ok, let me call and resolve this issue. After being transferred 3 times I finally spoke to someone only to be told that I had to pay extra if I wanted my envelopes in color and that they out source color prints so I would have to wait 24hrs to get a quote. I explained to them that I spoke to multiple people and they all assured me they could do what I wanted. Still she said she could only get me a quote for color prints. I thought they would at least upgrade mine to color at no cost but instead they wanted to charge me more for something they said they could do. Ridiculous! I will never print with them again. Def, don't recommend them. I ended up getting my money refunded which probably cost them more than it would have to just upgrade my prints to color. They lost money and they lost a customer. read more

Ordered checks through Deluxe because that is who my bank sent me to. Two weeks after the date that the checks should have arrived (per their shipping email) we still have not received our checks. Placed an order with them, almost $50 for 1 box of plain checks. I'd never ordered checks before but within minutes of placing the order and talking with family members I realized it was exorbitantly high-and this was with me insisting NO to all the upgrades the sales person was pushing. I think they intentionally make it very hard to order online because it's a lot easier to deceive people over the phone rather than online when you can see an itemized list of what you're paying for. Called back within 30 mins and cancelled the order, assured I wouldn't be charged, now I have a charge on my bank account. I ordered Christmas cards for my office on 11/14/2018. I was told that the card was out of stock but would be in the following week. I then received an email saying they were still out of stock and would be in before 12/08/2018. I called on the 8th and was told that they won't be "ready" until the 10th, but they would have them overnighted to our office and they would be there before the 11th, close of business day. Called today, 12/12/2018, and was told that they were shipped, but via regular mail. Talked to the manager who said that her personnel would never have said that... so basically she called me a liar! I asked her what good are Christmas cards if my clients will not get the Christmas cards BEFORE Christmas? She told me we would have them sometime NEXT week. So we should be ok with getting Christmas cards the sometime the week of 12/17 to 12/21???? We are talking over 400 cards to turn around in a day? DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Worse experience with a business I think I've had. I placed an order for personal checks. I never received any confirmation for its shipping or any status updates. I waited. I emailed customer service to inquire. No response. I waited some more. I emailed customer service again. No response. At this point it's over a month since I placed my order. I call their corporate headquarters and when I give the rep my order number, she informs me that my order's been cancelled. I never cancelled it; she said it was because they couldn't confirm the shipping address. Why wouldn't they let me know this??? I received ZERO communication from them about this and as far as I knew my checks were still being processed. I asked why did no one tell me? Why did no one respond to my customer service inquiries? Much smaller businesses than them have way better systems and customer service. There's no excuse. Save yourself time and completely unnecessary hassle and take your hard-earned money elsewhere. I'm quite unsatisfied with the customer service I received. Our company was down to our last two checks. So clearly we needed to overnight our order. When I was on the phone placing my order, I was told it was $109.99 for shipping. Yes, horrendous but we accepted because we needed them. Well we just received our invoice in our email and there is an ADDITIONAL $114.70 in shipping and processing. I called to ask about this considering that's $224.69 in fees for shipping and "processing". I spoke to the ever so rude Heidi and she told me that the 109 was to expedite the service and move the production to the front of the line. It's something "totally different" from shipping. When I called Wednesday and spoke to Lori, I was only made aware of 109 and THAT WAS IT FOR SHIPPING. I was told SHIPPING. When she told me the total on Wednesday I knew it was outrageous but just patiently waited for my invoice. I paid about the same amount in shipping and bs as I did for 500 checks. I told Heidi this morning I wasn't made aware of these charges and what they were for and she repeated what they were. When I let it go and said "okay" she sat on the phone in silence. An unhappy customer, being pretty civil, speaking to someone who works in CUSTOMER SERVICE, you'd think I'd receive a little more than that. Worst company I have ever worked with! I'm an easy guy to please, as long as you do what you say you will do. They either lie or are just incompetent. Don't waist your time or money with this company!!! They designed me a terrible site. Then after paying the $129 per month to get me up in the rankings I was still on page 4 after 18 months. I designed my own site on go daddy.com and was on the first page within a week. Godaddy.com is $9.99 a month btw. I talked with a different person every time I called deluxe. And every person had conflicting information with the last. What a joke of a company!!! I tried to resolve issues and was notified by email every 2 days the somebody would be in contact with me. This email would come like clockwork every 2 days and nobody would contact me. This company needs to go away. I have talked with many other "real" web design company's. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! This was our first and last dealing with Deluxe. We are starting up a new business and tried to order checks on-line, but the website refused to upload our logo and decided on its own to put our order in anyway. Customer no-service was quick but clueless, saying they had no visibility to our order from just minutes before, at which point we realized they were just the order taker. Eventually we figured out on our own that the logo needed to be in 300 dpi, which was quickly fixed in Photoshop and re-submitted. Deluxe said it would cost us five bucks to cancel and re-enter the order and apparently gave us the actual printing company's contact number. The printer pulled up the order and saw numerous errors (no spacing between words, some stray characters added, etc.) that did not show on the website version. Anyway, the five bucks for the logo omission error made by Deluxe was waived, they fixed the other ordering errors that Deluxe had made, and threw in a free check register and binder to boot. No clue how Deluxe has stayed in business, but they shouldn't be. read more

I've been in business for 14 years and never been treated in such an unprofessional manner as I experienced by Deluxe. I was exploring using their web site service, and a young man call me and immediately started asking me a lot of questions about my business. When I asked him to start by telling me about their services, how much it costs, what it involves, if they have any sites that I could look at before going into detail on my business, he refused to answer, and repeated the same questions. So I asked him to stop until he answered my questions first. He said "why", what does it hurt to have you tell me about your business first. After I told him he was a stranger to me and information about my business was personal, he laughed in bizarre way, and said "that is so silly", and hung up. If Deluxe can't handle a business phone call in a professional way, then I would never trust them to do a web site for me. read more
