The guy working in the pharmacy was very rude. He barely let my husband speak at the drive-thru window and then hung up the microphone and didn't give my husband a chance to even ask him a question. What ever happened to customer service and being polite! read more

Your pharmacist has been nothing but rude ugly, and non willing to work with while trying to get a prescription filled for my child. Your pharmacist on duty lied to me on the phone. She told me that she had spoken to my husband which she had not as he was sitting next to me while I was on the phone with her. She also said that she had spoken with my sons doctors office and was told that they were not prescribing him another medicine which was also a lie because I had already spoken to nurse and she had already sent a new medicine. At that point she was raising her voice and pretty much telling me she wasn't even going to try to get the medicine that my child needs to be covered by my insurance company. I will be moving all of my prescriptions and all future prescriptions to a new pharmacy and will never use your company again. I will also be letting everyone I know about the way I was treated by your pharmacist. read more

Visited this store to inquire about price to receive two immunizations. I gave my Medicare card and my Humana Prescription Insurance card to the pharmacy manager. Manager went to the computer terminal and after a few minutes told me there was no charge on these immunizations. Based on this information I asked to receive both. Both were given, I thanked the staff, and left the store. 3 months after this I received a bill from Walgreen's for over $200. I went BACK to the pharmacy and they told me they would correct this. Later they called and said to send insurance information to the Chicago office. I did this and soon after I received another bill for over $200. I then sent them a certified letter with a complete explaination and told them to stop billing me for services that I was told would be no cost to me. Today I received another bill for $233.56. Now I have to file a lawsuit in small claims court, hire an attorney, or pay a bill that I do not owe. I have never received a call from their Chicago office trying to resolve this problem. Only statements that I am sure will eventually show up on my credit bureau reports. Never again will I enter a Walgreens! read more

Stay away! My husband and I have been filling prescriptions at this Walgreens since it opened a few years ago. Not anymore. None of our prescriptions have ever been filled when promised. Every time I call ahead to fill one (even automatic refill) and go to pick it up, they say "it's not quite ready" and I have to wait 15-20 minutes for it to be filled while we wait. There is really no point in calling ahead if they aren't going to fill it until I get there anyway. Even that is only when I manage to get someone on the phone. Usually, when we call we are on hold for an extended period of time. One time, it took an hour for us to get ahold of someone and we had to call the front of the store, talk to the manager, and he went back and told the pharmacy our prescription needed to be filled. He did not offer any apology even though we had been on hold for an hour and we still didn't get to speak to a pharmacy staff member. Another time, my husband was told that a prescription he has been filling there every month for years (a very common medication, at that) was not in stock. The employee told us they would order it and gave him a few loaner pills to tide him over. When he finished the loaner pills, we went back, but they had not ordered the medication. They were completely out of it and could not provide any more loaners, but said that because they had partially refilled the prescription, we could not take it and have it filled at another pharmacy. This left us completely high and dry and my husband had to go without his medication for two weeks until they finally ordered it. Completely unacceptable. read more

I called cvs on Judge ely and I was told to hold because there was and angry patient on the other line who needed assistant. I though this was very rude a simple' could you please hold' would've done it. I called Walgreen on juge ely waited 3min spoke to the pharmacist and Zach who were super friendly and help me get the best price available. read more
