I have been coming here to Dema for a little over 6 years. They are wonderful, clean, quick and love the shape of my brows whenever I go. I recently tried the Henna Tattoo- on the eyebrows. To fill in some spots that sometimes take longer to grow. Over the years I see more and more thinning spots. I LOVE the Henna Tattoo. It only took 6 minutes and it will last a month. I literally just walked in the door from going to get my eyebrows threaded here, and I had to immediately sit down and review this place!!! I've never done threading before. I've had my eyebrows waxed, but my skin is far too sensitive, and broke out in a horrible, raw rash after the wax. I vowed to never get them waxed again, and have been plucking them myself ever since. My cousin, who is a stylist at a salon, told me my eyebrow lengths were a little bit off, and suggested I get them done professionally. Since waxing was out, I decided to try this new(ish) threading place that opened right around the corner from my house. I can now tell you that I will never again do my own eyebrows!!! The woman (who I am assuming is the owner) was so sweet, and so friendly! I told her this was my first time, and explained my dilemma with waxing. She confirmed that my length and shape is a little bit off, but assured me I would have perfect eyebrows for my September wedding! She shaped them up for me, and showed me the places where they need to grow in more. It took her only about 5-10 minutes, and set me back a whopping $9 (pre-tip)! My eyebrows, while not perfect (my own fault), look great! I'm excited to see how they look in a couple of months! The hours are Monday-Saturday 10-7, which works great for my schedule during the week or weekends! I will definitely be back regularly! I used to get my eyebrows waxed but I hated what the wax did to my skin as I would alway break out afterward and I do not have sensitive skin. Well after trying to do them myself I finally gave up and decided to try threading. Now I have heard that you either love it or hate it well after today I am in the "love" category. The place is in downtown Attleboro right across the street from Hong Kong Treasures and as previous reviews have stated if you blink you will miss it. I went in this morning when they opened and was seated immediately. As my eyebrows tend to look like caterpillars all I asked her was "Can you do something with these?" while pointing at them. I don't understand why this place has the ratings it has. If you walk in and the owner isn't there, just walk out. She's the only one who can thread by eyebrows that are worth a 4+ star rating. I've been here 4 times and consistently left with uneven eyebrows. I don't necessarily have difficult eyebrows to thread, yet whenever I leave here my eyebrows are completely uneven. I usually get my eyebrows done in Waltham but I'm in the area for an extended time and couldn't get up there for a few weeks. I decided to take my chances and asked the girl just to clean up my brows and you can't even tell my eyebrows were done. When I asked her to shape them a bit more, I got attitude. I really could've just plucked them myself at home. I don't recommend going here and next time, I'll take the 45 minute trek to waltham. read more

I went there twice. The first time was just ok. When I got there I was told that she would be right back. So I waited and then she came in after about 10 minutes. The place looks run down but the brows were done fine. The next time I went was the last time because all I could smell was the food she was eating. It was in the air and then ON her fingers. I wanted to give the place another chance and I completely regret it. Even with the owner doing a great job, another employee completely messed up my eyebrows. I had full brows that needed a touch up, specifically told her I wanted to keep them thicker but more defined. Not only did she make them thinner but two completely different shapes. One is rounded and with a high, uneven arch while the other is straight. If Dema isn't there seriously don't bother. read more

I had an awful experience a while back at a salon in my home city (too thin and changed the shape of my brows ) and have been growing my brows so I was a little nervous but the reviews were so good I figured I would try them out! I drove 15 minutes to Dema and it was worth it. The lady that threaded my eyebrows(I assume she was the owner) was fast, friendly and I walked out with the best threading I've ever had! She's the eyebrow whisperer haha. She mentioned she had been doing eyebrows since 1994 and she was knowledgeable about the current eyebrow trends. Never had a good experience here. They are friendly when you walk in, but they rush through the eyebrow threading. It's always very painful like they are just ripping off hair as fast as they can; there have been times where I'm obviously in pain and they don't even notice or ask if I'm okay. Can't believe I went there again after that experience to give them a second chance, bad decision.
