Best Clamboils around, fresh prewashed clams, Micheal's brand chourico, and plenty of food, potatoes, onions, sausage and hot dogs. All at a great price! And the service was excellent, the man brought it right out to the car for me! The market was impeccable, clean and spacious! Ok this is the type of market that gets this reaction from people and they never go in and all that. Fair, it's fair to say this but it's not fair for the business. The store is small looking outside and it's really not that small. Here we got some linguica that is going to blow us away, it certainly looked amazing many rows from mild to spicy linguica to several varieties of chourico. This was total class and really awesome. Now I do wish the rest of the store was even really half as classy as the linguica area, as that could have made it a five star stop. Been going to this place since 1988 food was great prices were good .then the market was sold they put up a menu with a price then ring up a higher price talked to Carlos more then once about this he rips the menu down says that's the wrong price .next day same paper menu is back up again told him I was never going back again that is deceptive business practices had a friend go in two weeks later they did the same thing to him . Carlos is not helping this business you can tell just by the numbers of customers on a Friday this place is going down hill keep an eye on the register. I'm giving 4 stars not because the food is but because the prices are Phenomenal and the food is decent If you want a decent sandwich or a decent lunch very fast for dirt cheap this is the best place you could come to everything here pretty much comes with fries you can a cacorlia sandwich and fries for 4$ you can get a steak and cheese sandwich for about 350$-4$ they have really good cheeseburgers for cheap and anything else here as well is cheap and good great buy for Your money read more

I'm giving 5 stars for the seafood department. This store carries wild caught shrimp raw and peeled. The fish is superb quality and he always has the coolest vegetables. Someone told me about this markets quality that lives really far away so I came down a few times now to try it. My only wish is they would offer a few prime meet and organic chicken breast. This is a small family market trying to do right by the neighborhood. Their tuna was recommended by an owner of a local wine vineyard and no disappointment. All their large fish cuts were shiny and fresh with flounder and boston mackerel which are harder to find these days. Their veggies and cheese selections were extensive as well, obviously sporting Portuguese lean. Be nice to one another, eat well and buy local. read more

i have been coming to this place for 40 years and usually do the take out but today the fish n chips were nasty the fries were so burnt the fish was not cooked all the wsy so i got sll the wsy home and noticed this and called all i would have liked was ok we will owe you some fries and i mean fish was half edible but not all of it so it all went in trash omg the fries were terrible and horrid yuck so i called and guy said oh the only way i can credit you if i was to go all the way back down there and waste my gas so i was lije can you just credit me some fries oh no so you know what demellos im done with you most places will say oh no orobkem next time you are in area will take care of you but not this place -- i have been coming here with my parents since this place opened up-- so you can keep your burnt fries i will tell everyone one how not only how nasty these fries were but how you have lousy customer service!! there are so many more places to get food--- goodbye lousy customer service at demellos!!! eat your burnt fries!!!! read more

This is an awesome fish and meat market. You can see the employees in the back cleaning the fresh fish! But in my opinion, the best part is the kitchen they open on Monday through Friday for takeout food and seafood! They sell fish and chips, fried clams, scallops, shrimp, stuffed quahogs, clam cakes, chowder, soups, and many different sandwiches including burgers hand made from the meat in the case. They also have a variety of Portuguese food they prepare onsite including codfish, cacoila and shrimp Mozambique that you can purchase by the pound. They also have fresh chourico and linguica. They have generous portions and extremely reasonable prices too! They also sell, fruit, veggies and other household staples. The only con is the kitchen is not open on Saturday or Sunday. The employees need to rest after making every meal to order! I've been to most of the local places...this is always the best takeout place! You won't be disappointed! read more
