Creamy New England Chowder. 1 clam

Feeling better I had surgery yesterdayand wanted. My first meal to be special. IT WAS SPECIAL ..... Ordered from Diggers Catch in East Providence. Recieved 2 orders of clams in one box???1 Cole slaw, 1 lemon and creamy new england chowder. Pic to follow. I wanted a special meal after my surgery. They ruined it. I called them and they were nice. They were backed up. I don't want a replacement. I would like my order correct Look at the chowder and tell me if it's new england Ruined my first meal after surgery.

I wish I could give it less. Clam cakes were burnt and have a terrible flavor and soup was barely milk and potatoes.

In the area. Looking for a local fish monger. Their place was only 10 minutes away. Small place that didn't have a large selection. Ordered a pound of salmon & stuffies. $15 for both items. The salmon was grilled and was amazing. Buttery and fresh tasting. The stuffies were not as good. The tops were a tad burnt. The filling didn't have any clams.

It doesn't really have a great parking place. Place has really good fresh seafood. And they're very friendly and helpful.

I thought it was an odd lol but I love to shop local businesses. So this was right up my alley on being able to support a local business. I was told of several places that were open with shorter hours for today. Dockside Seafood was my first stop and they had everything I needed.... BUT I didn't feel appreciated by them following me around the very small store like I was going to steal something. So I asked the guy (wearing a white meat market over coat) for a spice that I was looking for while standing right in front of it. He didn't have the answer. So that was some BS. Why are you standing 8ft away acting like you're looking for something when you aren't? I don't know if their local community hurts their business by stealing or not. But if that's the case then they should have cameras. They only have two very short aisles (similar to a gas station).

I always get the half chicken with fries. It's topped with a delicious hot sauce, garlic, cilantro, and banana peppers. The chicken is flavorful and juicy. There is nothing like it around! The fries are seasoned perfectly. I tried the fried tilapia fish for the first time tonight and it was perfectly cooked and came with a white sauce, cabbage, cilantro, and banana peppers but the chicken is still my favorite. I fell in love with Japanese stuff when I was a child and this place is a wonderland of food and items. I was actually kind of jealous because I haven't even been able to find some of the fun stuff that I wanted to try from social media in Las Vegas (and we have a lot of Japanese stores in Las Vegas).
