They complete the work efficiently and are always on time even working weekends to get the job complete. I've owned my house for 40 years, had many repair people over the years and I feel Cabral's Walls are the top. No job is too difficult for them and they find a way to get it done. My yard had no access for a excavator so they hired a crane to lift it over my wall and into my yard. Every thing went so smoothly. The price for such quality work is well worth it.

The work was done promptly and there were no surprise expenses. My issue is that just 2 years after Cabral's Walls completed the repairs, the mortar is crumbling and falling out. My check for payment was dated July 28, 2024. It is now August of 2026 and those same steps need to be redone. They also did some mortar repairs on my chimney and I'm concerned those repairs may also be failing. It doesn't matter how nice the people you deal with are and how promptly the work is done if the repair work they do is substandard and doesn't last. I'm out $1200 which I can ill afford. I would most definitely not recommend Cabral's Walls unless you don't care about the quality and durability of their work and money is no object.

I immediately took to the internet to find a high-quality specialist w/ a 5* rating and reviews to back it as I had installed a high-quality metal roof installed 8 years ago by interlocking roofing at the time the cost was $ 35,000.00 now that same roof today would cost approx. close to $ 100,000.00 so I needed a professional with knowledge with working w/ a metal roof that looks like slate. and wanted to do the proper assessment of damage cost etc. prior to placing a claim w/ my insurance company. As that would give me a good idea of cost repairs what would be involved as it would be a lot different than dealing w/ your normal asphalt roof where they could just go up on the roof where in this case you cannot. You would either need a lift or specialized staging set up as that come at a higher cost. in order to not compromise the integrity of the metal roof and to avoid liability, so I needed to do my do diligences in getting the right company to assess and do the job once the claim was put in. Because it was the weekend, I filled out the information online and in less than a 1/2 hour, I had a response from Brian from Safe Sweep Chimney. Extremely professional and set up an appointment on the 30th of December to come out and assess the damage. Now I had a professional I then went online and filed my claim w/ Amica who I have had for many years and are the Best of the Best when it comes to insurance companies, after filing I was notified that I was assigned a claim representee, and a claim person would be coming out on the 31st of December, so now I have done what needed to be done. Now as stated Brian showed up like he said he would at the time he had stated and was here for well over an hour did a complete assessment, cleaned the chimney and the fee was very reasonable of $ 300 as stated during our first conversation. and wrote up a report in his findings. During his time at my home Brians communication was in terms that I could understand and the process that would need to take place, and yes, a specialize staging company would need to come out and set staging w/ stairs in order to not compromise and damage to my roof but also for the safety of his employees. and the roof would have to be tarped to avoid any scratching etc. Brian also asked me if I had ever had the chimney ever cleaned, I told him no, that I had been told back when I purchased my home back in 1978 that because I didn't have a fireplace it was necessary, that may have been the case back then only to find out not to be true, to my surprise. the cleaning the chimney is one of the things Brian insist should always be done regardless this way it ensures the integrity of the bricks and shows if there are any cracks etc. that can be repaired that can avoid any future expensive cost down the road and avoid any carbon monoxide from seeping into your home. This to me is what sets Brian apart from other his willingness to take the time to educate someone like me of the dangers that could arise, as Brian put it, though it is a costly repair that it's his job to make a homeowner aways of any hazards that could arise in the future, regardless of whether I went with him or not, That was all I needed to hear, I was relieved in knowing that hiring Brian would be another one of those best asset's I would be investing in knowing the job for one would be professional, two I would never have to worry about it again at least not as long as I remain in my home. one of the best choices I could have made by doing my homework and not just hiring anyone, and the second-best thing I ever did was having one of the best insurance companies to protect me with my Home, and Auto and Liability Insurance, Amica I could be happier w/ my decisions and I urge anyone looking for reputable insurance company, reputable Chimney expert call Brian, at Safe Sweep Chimneys as well as Amica, oh one last thing to Brian's credit, who in today's world does this. When it was delivered I was taken aback by its color - it was grey (instead of the dark rich black humus that characterizes compost). It was also sandy, gritty, and had many small pebbles. So I sent in a sample to the UMASS Soil and Plant Tissue Testing Laboratory. The results are as follows: *ph of 6.0 *on the lower end of Phosphorous, Potassium, and below the optimal range for Calcium *a little bit too much Copper, and way to much iron *4.2% Soil Organic Matter *Soil textural analysis: 70.7% sand, 20.8% silt, 8.5% clay The purpose of compost in farming is to add nutrients to the soil. The "compost" they sold me has even less nutrients than the barren top soil on my property. Also, a soil science expert at the lab assured me that there was no way that this could be compost. Compost, she says, "at a minimum has at least at 20% soil organic matter content, and yours was only 4%." If I had trusted Reis's assurances and spread their compost on my field, it could have completely destroyed my first year of farming. I asked for my money back. I showed them the results. They refused everything. They refused to get their compost tested. They refused to reimburse me for the soil test I paid for. They refused to give me my money back. I just lost over a grand, and they don't have a clue about what they are doing.

They sat in my house for couple of hours until i signed despite the fact that i told them i had to check with my attorney and would let them know in the morning. They refused to leave. I should have called the police right then and there. I did contact the police later that week when i saw the results of the job. I also checked with city hall to see if they had pulled a permit as I was told by them that they had the inspector coming next week. This was after they finished the job and wanted payment. Lo and behold city hall said no permit was pulled and no inspection was ordered. Their names are Freddie and Matthew. The work was done by 2 gentlemen who do not speak English. I will be taking legal action on this matter to recoup what i paid since I have to have all the work completely redone and it has comprised the integrity of our 4 season room. I also just recently lost my husband and they preyed on that. Unfortunately, i was scammed. I repeat, do not use them.
