Sandy is now my go to hair stylist! After so many sessions with other stylist she was able to finally get my hair to where it needed to be. The pricing is super reasonable esp for the quality of hair service you get. Tucked away in a small alley this salon is not aesthetically the most posh place but that honestly doesnt matter bc you're there for your hair to look good. Ive gone to other high end places like Michael Blunt Salon and Ive definitely over paid for what I was given. I would pick this salon over and over again and will definitely come back. A little about my experience: I have super stubborn asian hair which took four sessions to lighten. But when i walked into this salon I immediately noticed the other clients in the other chairs and immediately felt calm. Sandy got the color i wanted spot on and it melted really well. I see girls who go there that have really nicely colored hair, but I didn't have the same experience. The girls were nice, but the experience sucked. I was asked last minute to come in later than my scheduled time and still waited an hour before any color was put in my hair. After washing the dye out, I was asked to blow dry my own hair. There was still dye all over my ears and back of my head which I wiped off myself. Then I sat there and waited. That's another hour with out anyone touching my hair. After 4 hours, I left with balayage that was darker in some areas and blonde in others for $185. They book way too many clients at a time and don't focus on their clients like they should. read more

Ive been here twice now and have had a great experience with Sandy. The salon is clean and modern. There is plenty of parking, although this place is a little hidden. Both times I showed up for my scheduled appointment and each time Sandy took me within a couple of minutes of arriving. Shes punctual, which is a huge plus to me. I've been going with Sandy for the past 3 years and I have always left the salon satisfied. She's a great hairstylist and knows how to do her job very well. I usually book my appointments during the weekends which are busy for her but she's very good at multi tasking and she gets great help from her assistant. I was treated very rude by Sandy. I wanted a bayalage. In the middle of foiling she walked off 3 different times to tend to her other clients even though I had an appointment. I was left unattended. When I asked her to check my hair to make sure it's not falling out she got snippy with me and said how about you let me check when it's ready let me do my job. During the rinse, she tugged on my hair and began yanking my hair even after I told her it hurt. I told her it wasn't what I expected and she said "why don't we wait for the complaining after we blow dry your hair" and tuned me out with the dryer. When it came time 4 payment she originally quoted me $145. I even showed her a pic of my hair b4 I went in. She charged me $205 instead. We argued over the price and i had to show her the text she quoted cause All I brought was $200 and said I would bring in the $5 tmw. She got upset and said she has to charge me $15 more for some other chemical she put on my hair! After all that she changed prices on me repeatedly I am never going back there again! Horrible horrible experience. Very unprofessional and to top it off, my hair didn't come out how I wanted. read more

The pictures look great, however, I didn't really have that great of a haircut or color unfortunately. I got a balayage plus cut (paid $220 plus tip...) which turned out to be extremely lighter than I had hoped. My layers were cut super short with no texture and you could see every set of layers when my hair was straightened. My hair is naturally dark brown and with the balayage the tips ended up being a brassy yellow. If you want to lighten your hair to the extreme, this place might be yours, but if you're looking for something more natural and affordable, I wouldn't recommend going here. I ended up going to another hair salon to get a natural glaze to cover the brassy yellow and cut another inch off my hair since the ends were fried. Additionally, while I was there a customer came in and discussed with the hairdresser her next appointment which included adding extensions and highlights. The customer then said "I thought you said you would give this discounted?" so the hairdresser agreed to doing that girls extension and highlights for $150 while I payed a whopping $220 for a cut and balayage?? Probably making up for the discount she gave to the other girl. Unprofessional at its finest. read more

Do not go here unless you want your hair to be fried and damaged. I had an apointment with Sandy, and while she was pleasant, she overbooked herself. During my appointment, she was balancing 3 other clients. I was in for an ombre and she left me in the chair with bleach under heat for just over an hour. What should have taken 2 hours max took almost 4 hours because she kept on walking away to tend to other clients. I understand that stylists strive to make the most of their time, but that was just negligent and greedy. I kept trying to get her attention and she'd just tell me, "I'll be with you in a minute, hun." I was horrified when she began to blow dry my hair, I could see how stringy my hair had become, it was falling out as she was blowing it dry. She said that she needed to "trim" my hair at no cost to me, and I almost cried seeing as I walked in with long hair at my navel to hair barely pass my shoulders. Her IG photos look fantastic, but don't be deceived. The models' hair are likely fried. It's taken 2 years for my hair to finally grow back to its original length, something that used to only take 6 months at most for me. read more

I went in to get my hair fixed by Monica because a previously stylist left my hair orange/not well blended and I LOVED the outcome of my hair.
