I'm not positive if these cabins are still being rented out, but nobody has reported them closed, so I'll share my experience there: I loved these cabins! They're right outside the entrance to the Denali trails and bus routes. The people were friendly and made sure that we got to all of our tours/activities on time. When we were worried about missing our flight, the manager of the cabins property was literally about to drive us to our tour destination in her own car...but the Denali shuttle arrived on time (as it did the WHOLE time we were there!) The river outside the cabins is breathtaking and is about a one minute walk from any of the cabins. The cabins were warm, had two different heaters so you could adjust them to your liking, spacious and had comfy beds, a great cedar smell, and the continental breakfast was great for the price (free!) The staff was friendly and accomodating, and one of the shuttle drivers even took us around driving for a late night wildlife viewing trip. I recommend this place for older travlers, young couples (which is what I classify myself and my travel partner as), singles, adventurous hikers, anyone. I would choose another location if you are looking to book a stay near Denali park in Alaska. Our room was over priced, we were charged $20.00 per night extra for a "continental breakfast" that I do not think even existed. I did see some tea bags and hot water in the lobby, but that was all. The staff was not friendly and we saw cabins across the street that were $100 per night less than what we paid! The room was very small, beds were not comfortable and bathroom was very small. For almost $200 per night, you could do much better elsewhere. Denali park was beautiful and really enjoyed the area. Pick another place to stay. Good luck in Beautiful Alaska. read more
