Cute shop and service was friendly. Nice variety of items for the home, clothing, shoes, jewelry etc. They've got a small men's section and a bit more for women. We bought a couple shirts, with lovely coastal designs apparently designed by a local artist, and a couple other items. Things weren't exactly cheap, no touristy trinkets here...we appreciated the nod to local and unique offerings of quality. The men's section is full of a diverse array of clothes that are fashionable and high quality. I truly wish I could buy everything, though the prices are high. Visit this shop! Went into Unfurl to check out their cute clothes and little gifty items! Lots of styles and different unique finds including candles, jewelry, and Oregon coast merch! Sometime in the process of being in the store and being around town we lost our car keys. The two women working in the store were SO nice and immensely helpful. Our phones had died and we were so unfamiliar with the area (and far from any car dealership or public transportation to get to one). They let us use a phone charger and went out of their way to call local places they knew of to help us figure out what to do. I wish I got her name, but one of them is 100% the reason we ever got out of town and it was thanks to her calling a locksmith she knew of near town who just happened to have the supplies to help us. I went on Mother's Day weekend and they were doing a pop up from a local jewelry maker. Her jewelry was beautiful & I bought an OR agate ring & MZ basalt necklace...love them both! They carry her jewelry in the shop also. They have great shoes, clothes, hats, bags & other local products as well. The owner & employees are very nice. Good people. It's my favorite shop in town. 5/14/24: Couldn't even get into the store. They let maybe 4-5 people in at a time and then put up a barrier with a sign that says they're burned out on shoppers and shoplifters. High drool factor here.. everywhere I look I see what I would LOVE to buy. The clothing is of high quality, materials are pima cotton and bamboo that are sustainable - including items that only use natural dyes so that they do not leak in to rivers during the process for an example. Clothing that is so soft and comfortable, yet whimsical and colorful, and unique, and the way we should be wearing our clothing. If you keep looking around there are treasures all over. Shoes of every color and pattern that are made for walking in yet are just something an artist would have created for the feet. Speaking of art, they also have artwork they sell on their walls as well.. I won't even mention the fun jewelry. They also have affordable items on sale so do not be afraid to come in here. We need more stores like this that seem to spend a little time thinking about the effects of their products to the planet. So if that's hippy talk - so be it. read more

Manzanita is, in general, one street; with women's boutiques running up and down both sides, interrupted only by the occasional pub, book store or sandwich shop. There must be a city ordinance that requires a least a few square feet of the commercial zone to be set aside for men's clothing. You can find that little plot of real-estate in the rear of Unfurl Clothing. This place is a little boutique, and the selection is more unique in general than the big box retailers. I made my way, passed a sprinkling of women examining the pink coats and sparkly blouses, to the government regulated "mens department". American men mostly wear injection molded rubber shoes and tee-shirts, and that's what we find in most men's departments. Ross carries cheap tees, while Unfurl Clothing carries expensive tees. Beyond the ubiquitous tees, Unfurl does carry a few shirts in the $75 to $110 range, some cheap hats - we're not talking serious haberdashery here, and $50 flip-flops. To me this stuff is pricey, but I might pay it, if it sported a union label to prove the labor making it is getting a living wage. Nope: made in China. read more

Unfurl is a great place to check out if you are in the mood for shopping. Normally I am not a fan of store hopping in these little towns; they cater to older women who want weird knickknacks. This place is different. They have a bit of everything. They have clothes and accessories for men that I would actual wear and that are unique. My wife loves the shoes and spent some time checking them out. She has picked up several gift for friends here. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. This store is trouble for me. I love just about everything they have. I drool over the organic cotton shirts. The incredible selection of shoes is so tempting. I never leave without purchasing something for someone. Their children's section is probably my favorite. Discovered this gem last year on a rainy day during our coastal vacation. A little pricey, but the selection and quality of the items are worth it. Shoes, jewelry bags; clothes for kids, men and women (bit heavier on the women's selections.) Last year, found earrings, a non-touristy, eco-friendly Manzanita tee and Crocs for my son. This year, cool fedora and cute skirt and pedal pushers on sale (as well as son's 2nd pair of crocs). Went back before leaving the coast for one last look and left with a black modal open cardigan/wrap and my 2nd non-touristy Manzanita tee. And another pair of Crocs for the kid. :) Friendly and helpful staff, too. read more

If a boutique can make me want to buy a hemp skirt and a nice, practical thick-soled pair of Eccos, and I am absolutely NOT that person, then that boutique is doing a damn fine job. This little storefront in Manzanita is a must-stop when you're wandering around Laneda, in full holiday mode and trying to find somewhere to blow some money. With a practical, fair-trade, local, natural-fiber focus, they manage to have some really cute and unique clothes and accessories for women, men and kids. Definitely on the spendy side, but you get what you pay for, and I paid for a clear conscience, dammit. Amazing customer service! I bought some sandals at Unfurl that I LOVED! About 5 months later they broke and I figured that I would email them to see if they could get them fixed. The response was amazingly fast and the owners quickly let me know they would contact the Rep and find out if they could get me some new sandals. A few days later they told me that the company wanted to replace the sandals and kept me in the loop the entire way until the new sandals arrived on my door step. I strolled into this fab little shop, attempting to resist the boutique that was so clearly a shop for the "hippie yuppie with a penchant for natural fabrics with spendy labels"...and was drawn in. The store is utterly delightful and a wonderful boutique in any town. You are bound to drop a few bucks when your temptation cannot hold out any longer as you browse all the goodies they have crammed into this little shop. I also was shopping for a little giftie for the man in my life and they do have a small men's section. I'm with Brandon B, as he said in his review....the men's underwear with a "trophy shelf" built in cracked me up (I passed on those, though...should men begin wearing uncomfortable trophy shelf undies as women have had to wear underwires? I think not.) The inner hippie yummy in me rejoiced and I caved in and bought some hemp balm and an overpriced natural hat and gloves. All very nice. I would give them one more star but felt the prices were a bit much, even for the labels. Still, a gem of a shop that I will frequent when I am in town. read more
