My husband and I attended a private event at Cirrus last night, and it was our first visit. From…read morethe second we walked into the lobby, we knew we were in for something special! The welcome was aces! We were warmly greeted, shown exactly where to go, and immediately made to feel comfortable. They have this rare ability to make you feel like you're walking into something exclusive without feeling pretentious or intimidating. Before we even made it to the bar, people were introducing themselves and making us feel welcome. I mentioned that I'd seen one of the team members being super fabulous on Instagram, and we had some fun conversation. Every interaction felt real. We tried one of the vapor bags, and it lived up to the hype! The infused drinks were SO GOOD, especially the grape infusion. The food was awesome. We had the bagel bites, burrata, and sliders. Everything was rich, a bit salty, and exactly what you want after a vapor bag. You know. The space is wild. Super chill. Cirrus feels like what would happen if a luxury airline lounge, a Tom Ford campaign, and a cannabis social club had a baby. Crystal chandeliers, oversized floral prints, dramatic drapery, fireplaces, and a grand piano create a space that feels more like a series of carefully curated scenes than a lounge on Colfax. It's glamorous without being stuffy, theatrical without being pretentious, and juuust weird enough to keep it interesting. And the DJ!!!!! HUGE shout out because their playlist was FIRE and set the entire mood! Also, see the bathrooms... All four of them! It feels like if you gave Tom Ford a blunt and told him to design a social club. What really makes Cirrus special, though, is the people. Every single person we met was kind, welcoming, chill, and genuinely happy to be there. It made us want to be there. Living in Colorado, you can stop at a dispensary and sit on your couch at home or go to a park any day of the week. What you can't recreate is this experience. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the sense of community, the feeling that you're somewhere unique. They've created something really special here. Check it out!

Huge shoutout to them for guiding us through the process . We split the premium flight for $40 (If you're a pretty heavy stoner I would not suggest splitting the flight) and especially enjoyed the Black Maple and Golden Goat, so much so my wife ordered a full bowl of the Black Maple for $12. I had a bowl of the house strain for $10 which was good but obviously not on par with the premiums. We only ordered the bagel bites but they were amazing. Drinks outside of water were $6 for soda, $9 for an Arnold Palmer and those were not infused which would cost an extra $4.20 or $7.10 for a double which for us was a little pricey .Overall I would give it a 9/10 only because of drinks being a little high on the cost, Although it is going for the fine dining experience so I can understand. Perfect for Date nights or other special occasions and friendly to baby stoners as well!

That's a landmark for any organization! For a while, DPC had some ups and downs, as happens in long-established clubs. It had a season of bad leadership, mismanaged direction, and a whole lot of rebuilding to do. The ship is now righted. It again feels like the community space I got to know and call a second home when I first moved to Denver over 20 years ago. The programming has grown with monthly and quarterly events from craft nights and mixers to traditional poker Thursdays. The topics for special conversations and panels are engaging, informative, and offerings for a better understanding of current events and international policies. The guest bartenders and handful of annual functions continue as well, but there are so many more opportunities for engagement with the club and its members now, too. If you only want good conversation and good cheer, this is still the place to pull up a seat while Jim makes sure you're not thirsty! Beyond the historic setting and stories from another time, I'm glad to report that The Denver Press Club once again stands as a place to gather that honors its rich legacy, which has monitored Denver's pulse for over 100 years.

It's a private club for journalists and beyond and the oldest press club in the country! I was absolutely amazed by the old school charm and the swanky bar on the second floor. Don't forget to take a tour of the basement poker room also. There is history in every corner throughout the building from the typewriters, names of "deadline room", "poet's corner", etc. to all the notable journalists cartoon portraits on the wall. Hope to be back again some day!

During check-in they said I received an upgrade, but I'm not sure to what, because the view was a roof and the room couldn't fit one suitcase, never mind two. It was cute however. Blackout shades are irrelevant if they don't cover they can't cover the entire window. Slivers of light will wake you up, which is surprising since when you pull back the drapes, the room lacked natural light. If you stay with Amex Platinum hotel collection and receive benefits, you might be disappointed. It says complimentary breakfast, which at check-in you learn is $30 a day. This might be ok except lattes are $7 and there's a 20% gratuity included on all bills. The $100 resort credit can only be used at their rooftop bar and their "member's" restaurant (not the two on-site restaurants on the ground floor) and in-room mini bar, however half the items were expired. The gym in the basement is solid and better equipped than most, but wish there was natural light. Pool table in lobby is nice touch. Housekeeping knocked on door and we asked she come back in an hour. We were disappointed upon returning home to our unrefreshed room. The realized she did come because we had new towels. I know many hotels limit housekeeping services, which I'm fine with, if they state it. Location: A Value: D Service: B- Amenities: C

E&A is the real thing people. If you're ready to get off your couch and stop swiping this is a…read morereal quality option for enhancing your social life and meeting someone special. First of all: 1) it ain't free, expect to invest in your social life. Lets all be honest though, you get what you pay for on Tinder. 2) It ain't easy. You actually have to show up, talk to people, make conversation, get involved. If you do so this club will pay you back in spades. I joined back in January and its been terrific! My social life has moved into high gear, I've been able to develop a multi-level social circles including business contacts, casual acquaintances, couple friends and YES a steady girlfriend. I work hard during he day and it's really difficult to plan things after work and to stay connected to a dynamic social life. With E&A I can spend 10 min and plan out my whole week, or drop in on an event if plans change and I suddenly have a free evening. I'm doing things I never would have either and getting to know Denver better than ever before (and I'm a native). Yes, you'll have to hold your nose during the interview process, commit to a short contract (to make sure you like) it and be prepared to renew!

It said I have to make an appointment to get that info. I called the number. A lady answered and with a ton of tone, as if I'm doing something wrong, told me she would not provide pricing or an event schedule, I had to schedule a meeting. I asked her for a rough idea of pricing. The tone of condescension was strong, how dare I ask basic upfront questions that could be on the website. She still refused to give pricing of course. There's tons of other singles events companies out there....
