It was a very trying time, calling upward 25 different practices looking for emergency dentistry to help during the stay at home order. Nik was opened with limited hours for emergency services. The receptionist was so professional, polite and friendly! My BF said that he felt safe and took comfort in the fact that the doctor was thorough in trying to save the tooth root if he could - the crack was too bad though, and they had to extract it and graph the area. The doctor was very clear when telling us what the plan was to getting a implant and the timelines needed. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the insurance coverage and gave us multiple options, providing insight as to how we could maximize our deductions and provided us with additional paperwork we could use when filing workers comp and short term disability with his work. Overall, we are very impressed with this practice. Thank you very much for staying open during this crisis. We honestly don't know what we would have done without you!

I told her I was experiencing some pain with my front tooth after my last visit with my previous dentist. She examined my teeth thoroughly to see if I had any cavities or minor fractures. Then she checked my gums, my mouth, and the condition of my existing fillings as well and she told me that my front tooth filling had fallen out. Before she began working on my front tooth filling, I told her I was afraid it would be painful for me to get the filling replaced. Dr. Koussa smiled and in a calm, caring, voice she promised me I wouldn't feel any pain and her words were very comforting and reassuring to me. I truthfully don't think the work I had done was worth $79. The main reason for me coming in was a cleaning (and I mentioned my inflamed and irritated gums multiple times in person and the paperwork) and my cleaning portion of the appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. Besides those 7 or 8 ish minutes, half of the appointment was spent discussing a treatment plan for an issue I didn't come in for, which I told the staff I wasn't doing anytime soon since I'm not currently on dental insurance, and the other half was spent me waiting on the chair for the staff to come in and discuss pricing. From the moment the dentist came in the room, I felt like they were just trying to figure out ways to make money off of me, when I thought I was coming in for xrays and a cleaning. I left with my mouth feeling pretty much the same as when I came in, when it usually feels squeaky clean and refreshed after cleanings. I looked in the mirror and I still had so much plaque in my teeth and both my permanent retainers in the back of my top and bottom teeth. There were an insane amount of people that came into the room. I was also confused with not only seeing the dentist before my teeth were cleaned, but also with him doing a portion of the cleaning. All other dental hygienists have cleaned my teeth before I saw the dentist, and were capable of doing it without a dental assistant in training who almost triggered my gag reflex with the suction and suctioned my lip.
