Quick I40 off and on and right next to a few hotels. Arrived Sunday around 3pm to a pretty empty restaurant. I ordered the bourbon chicken skillet to go and it was pretty good. I would encourage anyone who is considering eating here to find somewhere else to eat. This Denny's earned a 5+ on the suck scale. I ordered the American Slam ... a very popular meal anytime of day. I ordered sourdough bread with my meal ... my hubby got the pot roast. When our food came out ... my meal was barely warm ... obviously had been sitting probably waiting on the pot roast. They were waiting on my sourdough toast and brought it after they brought the meals. My sourdough was really white bread and one slice wasn't even toasted ... it was cold so not sure what they were waiting on. When I asked for another slice toasted... it took asking a second time for it ... they brought 2 more slices of white bread ... they were both toasted this time but this time only one had butter on it. While waiting to ask for our check ... which took about 15 minutes or so ... we watched food coming out of the kitchen ... no warming lamps... I saw food sit for at least 10 minutes while waiting for the rest of the order to come up ... there was an entire order (sitting on a serving tray) that sat there the entire time were waiting on our check and was still sitting there when we left. I felt sorry for whoever's order it was. There was no sense of urgency in the kitchen and one of the cooks was wearing his mask around his neck ... and there was no manager to expedite the orders. Idk where to begin here. I stumbled into this place after I was chased out of the Laquinta next door by a pack of wolves. When I opened the door I was greeted by a cloud of flies fleeing for their lives and I immediately made eye contact with the hostess and could not turn back. While being seated, I passed a table covered in old plates of food that had to been there for at least an hour based off of the birthday party of flies that were sitting there. Even though there were multiple tables open, I was seated at a booth right beside the party of flies. One bench seat looked like it had been ripped in half and taped back together with duct tape. The other one had fresh sword wounds all over it and had yet to receive duct tape repairs and one of the cut wounds had a French fry suck into it from the waitress wiping off the table probably only moments before I was seated. The food was slightly below being okay. I would have rated this two stars but I forgot that I ordered and over easy egg on my sandwich and it exploded hot egg yolk all over my arm when I bit into it. The water tasted like a bunch of half empty water bottles that you see in someone's car that have been there for 6 months. It took probably 20+ minutes to get my food and another 15 minutes after finishing just to pay. I'd probably never eat at this place. read more

Surprising little Denny's dinner. Cute, quaint and embodies the Route 66 vibe. This Denny's was very clean. Friendly staff, even though they seemed to run slow but I got that gist from everyone that it was just a slow pace there. Waitress was friendly, got our order right and checked with us frequently. One of the better organized Denny's l have ever been to in USA . Stopped by here for breakfast.

There was a sign in front stating "limited seating only 1 server" we got seated within a couple minutes and our order was taken as soon as we were ready and knew what we wanted. There were only a few employees that I could see looked like 1 cook and 2 servers, but, they made it look very easy. Our food was served hot and very tasty! It was worth the walk across the street. I would recommend it if you're staying close by and don't want to get back in that car after a long day on the road! I saw a few locals there as well. read more

I normally don't stop anywhere to get a bite to eat, however, I worked a double shift and I decided to eat here. The server, Latoya, was greaaat! She was very polite, and got my order quick, however, she told me that she was going on her break and "someone" will be assisting me. I never got any refills, or napkins or a simple "Are you still doing fine?" Nothing, the servers that were on duty were standing the other way until 3 or 4 more guest came in & quickly ran over to help them. Didn't feel welcomed. Pooor Customer Skills. On a stop here decided to eat here for dinner. Place has a lot of parking and gets pretty busy since it is surrounded by 4 hotels. Food was fresh and came pretty fast considering it always takes forever in a Dennys! My only complaint is that I ordered my burger with NO ONIONS and guess what??? I really liked this place because, unlike other Denny's, it had super quick service and we got our food quickly. I got the veggie skillet and the others in my party got French toast that looked so good I almost ordered it myself. If I wasn't traveling through I would be a repeat customer. It's the reason we keep coming back even though we get y service as far as wait times, being seated and greeted in a timely manner, AND accuracy of our meals. Had a large group and we were seated as quickly as they got the tables ready. We had a waitress in training which was okay. Our food was a little bit slow coming out in which I noticed that the waitresses were waiting for all the orders to come out before serving the whole group. I didn't see why they couldn't just serve us as the orders were put up. The salad I ordered had the wrong meat on it but they ended up just getting me the meat on the side. So I have traveled all over the country for years and have never come across a Denny's as BAD as this. I think the workers are on drugs. Nobody seemed to care that we had shown up. After finally getting seated we where ignored for almost 15 minutes before getting our drinks ordered. Then another 15 minutes for them to take our food order. No kidding, 45 minutes later they brought us our food. Wrong order, Cold and Burned. When I said that the food was unacceptable they didn't offer to re cook or fix it they just looked at me like I was crazy, removed my plate and didn't even offer to replace it. THEN - get this, they tried to charge me FULL price for this garbage that I didn't even eat! Do you idiots really think that it is ok to make your customers wait over an hour to get the wrong thing, and then charge them for it when YOU screw it up? Needless to say I left this sorry excuse for a dining establishment still hungry, disappointed, and absolutely astounded at how these jokers can keep their jobs. The only thing I can figure is that the manager/owner are as stupid and as lazy as their employees. Even if this is the only place open in town (or on Earth) you are better off just waiting till the morning to get something to eat. You can't beat Denny's for breakfast any hour of the day. My brother and I stopped in for some whole wheat blueberries pancakes and their chicken sausage patties. The red potatoes were fresh but the eggs were not softly scrambled. Coffee fresh as always. Our waiter was nice and attentive. We were traveling through and ate here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times the food was excellent and extremely inexpensive. My daughter loved the hot wings, the cinnamon sugar pancake puppies were delicious, my over medium eggs were the best I've ever had and the hash browns were cooked to perfection! The restaurant was really clean, there was even someone cleaning the windows inside and out while we were there. The staff was friendly too. One thing I can say is that there was a lot of chatter amongst employees and our food sat for a few ministers before being delivered to our table.
