I ordered the Gallup Burger to-go; I ordered inside and it was ready very quickly after I ordered, which was awesome. The food was fresh and hot, and the patty was cooked well-done (as advertised on the menu, which I appreciated). This was my first time trying New Mexico's famous chilis, and this dish was a great representation of them; the chilis had a perfect balance of heat and were on the mild side. The only thing I disliked about the burger was that the patty wasn't seasoned at all; it could have used a tad bit of salt. All in all, this was the freshest food that I had during my short stay in Gallup; in fact, it was the freshest food that I ate between both Gallup and Tucumcari, and I would recommend it to anyone if you want some fast food in Gallup that is actually fresh. read more

I had a really bad experience here and felt like it needed to be shared. I ordered wings, and when it came out, it was clearly undercooked. This isn't just about taste -- that's a serious health concern. I brought it to the manager's attention expecting them to take it seriously and make it right. Instead, I was told that their chicken "comes already cooked" and that they just heat it up. That response honestly made it worse. If that's true, then it means they're serving food without properly checking it before giving it to customers. There was no real concern, no accountability, and no effort to fix the situation in a professional way. I love the food and how it's prepared but do find it a little bit to greasy as it cools down and you get that taste in your mouth. I will leave that alternative up to the chef but ease down on the oils or fat used to cook. Great tasting burger yum yum. read more

Service was terrible, I told the waitress I wanted a water, and she gives me a soda. After trying to wave her down she made me yell what I needed across the restaurant. She did not say sorry or anything. And had the nerve to still charge me for the soda. Food was ok, they just need to take it easy on the salt. read more

Just finished some carry-out wings and fries. Wings were perfectly crisp (I did request crispy and they did not disappoint). Fries weren't quite as crisp as I'd like, so next time I'll ask for extra crispy, but the flavor was so wonderful, I still ate several. When I arrived the young lady at the front informed me that they accidentally made me the wrong flavor so it would be a few more minutes. When she brought my order, she said she was including the "wrong" order too so they wouldn't go to waste. I told her to gift them forward as I was leaving in the morning. Farmington Burger it was delicious. It came with a mountain of fries. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We also ordered hot & teriyaki wings they were delicious as well. We stopped here at this place based on Google reviews. We are traveling and needed a bite to eat. Restaurant is small and quaint more like a diner. They were busy and we had to wait but did t wait long. Burger was excellent! I'm not a huge fan of natural cut fries but they were tasty. It is literally a burger joint or chicken sandwiches and wings. Not much in between. Although I did see one salad. Would be great if they served beer but no such luck. Would recommend. read more

I have ordered take out twice Once, I got a dozen bone in wing, half hot and half lemon pepper. Having to drive 5-8 minutes back to my desk, wings were still hot and steamy and fully cooked and well seasoned. Wow! 505 Burgers & wings was the best stop on our trip from PA to AZ. A small place in a plaza, filled with artworks representing New Mexico. Our waitress Sonja was stellar, attentive, and friendly. I had the best patty melt I've ever eaten with fresh cut fries. My husband was able to have delicious cheese burgers with fried eggs. The Gallup Burger (#1) is delicious and always my go to burger of choice. Rye bread laid out on a decent size beef patty with cheese and green chili. Some days the chili is hot and others just perfect. My mom and I usually share because of the big portions especially the fries. I usually don't eat gravy but the gravy here is delicious! We have always gotten good food and a correct order here...until this evening. I ordered two #1 Gallup burgers, but they came with no brown gravy on the fries (our favorite). I ordered mild buffalo wings for my grandkids and paid for two extra containers of ranch dressing, received one container of ranch dressing for a 12-piece wings, and two extra containers of mild buffalo sauce. The food was pretty good so that added a couple of stars to my review, but it was really irritating to get so much of our order wrong. Next time, we'll be checking the order there to make sure it's correct. read more

I don't always eat burgers and wings, but when I do.... I'll probably go elsewhere. In typical Gallup fashion, the portions of food here are anything but ordinary. If you're dining alone, you may need a box unless you have a seriously ravenous appetite. The menu here is simple. Burgers, wings and hotdogs. (Nathan's hotdogs, by the way...) While the combinations were plentiful, I settled on a plate of honey BBQ wings and some fries on my lunch break from work. I was NOT impressed. The wings were luke warm and DOUSED in sauce. The sauce was not particularly appealing either; Especially by the third wing where I bit into piece of steel wool which totally made me lose my appetite. (See photo). The fries also had a weird cinnamon like aftertaste to them as well... not exactly what I was hoping for from a place that is constantly raved about in town. Though my meal was removed from the bill as a result of me bring this to the attention of my server, I was never offered an alternate option, let alone an explanation or apology for what had happened. Service here was average... I'm not a fan of the food... and my experience was simply, ordinary. I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more
