Thought I was staying for breakfast with the wait.

I stopped here once before and did indeed enjoy eating here back then. This visit would possibly be the worst service I have ever received and I am 60 now. My server was Kameren and if you try going here, ask for different server. Some other guests from the hotel went to eat here too. They did get better service and came in after me and got done before me. All I ordered was à build your own burger, nothing special or hard to make. I waited for fifteen minutes for the bill, and sixteen dollars for a burger is too much. Skip this place and go to the king right near by. I did leave the tip based on the service I received.

Spent most of the day trying to leave Illinois and needed something to eat before we were through. This property abuts the local Days Inn and sits behind the Quality Inn and Suites. Denny's is about the best place to go when you don't know what you want to eat since they have just about everything. Fresh hot black coffee with a side of iced water... Crazy Spicy Skillet has a 5-pepper sauce plus pepper jack queso plus more cheese on grilled chicken breast on a bed of chorizo, japs, taters, plus roasted onions and bells. Toss a little Louisiana Gold on that and you'll be alright. Totchos to go were the perfect night cap.

Well all I ca say it is a building with a Denny's sign on it. We waited over 5 minutes to be seated then we waited 25 minutes for what you could call food. Husband ordered the meat lover slam eggs over easy. The eggs come out hard his bacon was raw in some pieces others were cooked. His meal was Luke warm at best. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich the top bun was old and hard. I mean you can't cut with a knife hard. The bottom was soggy and not in any shape to eat. We won't be coming back that is for sure. Hire a hostess, someone to clean table and for the love of Pete teach your cooks how to do their jobs!!!! read more

Stopped here for lunch on 3/16/2017 on our way down I-57 to New Orleans. An older facility attached to a Motel Lobby, but in decent shape. Courteous service and reliably good Denny's favorites. Only complaint is no free Wi-Fi available. read more

Very upset with Denny's. We did not receive good service. It took 20 minutes for food to be brought to us . We had no silverware. We asked waiter but 15 minutes later , no silverware. By then, the food was cold. We just walked out , leaving cold food behind. read more

Worst Denny's I've ever been to! Our table wasn't wiped off. The menu's were sticky. The food was like warm at best. Service was sub par, no refills, had to ask for silverware, had to ask for syrup even though 3 out of 6 people at our table had pancakes. & the bathrooms were disgusting as well. I left there feeling like I needed to shower. read more

No complaints about the waitress staff, our waitress was attentive and friendly, so was the manager. It was the menu that was discouraging. They really did not have a "senior friendly" or "lighter fare" menu choice. There was a very limited selection and by ordering items individually vs. a select entree, that got expensive. Sorry but I prefer Bob Evans. Much better menu choices if you don't want heavy, calorie laden food. But if you like a hearty meal, we went for breakfast, this would be a good choice for you. read more

Go to this place sometimes if I go to my brothers. It's ok. Better than some! He goes there quite a bit and especially maybe after hours late in the night due to second shift at the factory. Place overall is clean and friendly read more

Me and my best friend hangout a lot and everynight we hangout we get hungry. Well at around 330 every morning during the summer we go here and we absolutly love it. They have the nicest waiters, ive made friends with most of the waiters and some of them have already learned me by name. If you are looking for somewhere good and quick to eat i would definitely consider Salem's Denny's. read more

I went there the night we lost power and ordered a breakfest. It was like 3:30am. The place seemed clean but the lighting was on the dim side. The breakfest was ok. Can't screw up eggs and hash browns to much. The waitress was very nice. It seemed all they had was one waitress and one cook. So this waitress doing it all and god bless her they are lucky to have her. read more

Their menu proudly promotes that the bacon and sausage is from local farmers. Trust me when I tell you, the bacon was very delectable. It could have been crisper, but the flavor made up for the lack of crispiness. I choose not to take the toast with my breakfast entree, because I also ordered a half size of Biscuits and Gravy. The biscuit was not made it house, its shape was too perfect. However, the gravy with chunks of locally sourced sausage made it a true comfort dish. The gravy was a semi-thick milk gravy and it wasn't overly seasoned with salt and had the right amount of pepper. Trying to watch my sodium intake, I like it when chefs are light handed when shaking the salt into a recipe. The atmosphere is like stepping back into the 50's. You truly will feel as if you left the sock hop and stopped by the local soda shop for a bite. I'll give you a heads up, the outside is junky with a lot of weird stuff. Ignore the decor on the outside and head straight into the diner for a good home cooked meal. The service was impressive. One waitress was taking care of the entire small dining room. I over heard her tell another table, that she was relatively new. Being new, she did a great job. She was attentive and very personable. Her service alone would get me to come back.

Had Danny M. as my server and I've got to say that's the best service I've ever had at this dennys. My server was so respectful and made sure everyone at my table was satisfied and if there was an issue, he would be sure to fix it. Food came out quick! i didn't have to sit and wait forever for it. Our drinks were always refilled with out us having to ask for it, our empty plates were cleared from our table as soon as they were placed on the edge of the table. 10/10 recommend coming and having Danny as your server. you won't regret it. read more

I'm a regular at Denny's this isn't my first time going to this location. But the food is always delicious and I would definitely recommend their breakfast options (even for dinner it's never too late to have breakfast) and the waiters are always nice, their drinks are always nice and refreshing (specifically their tea) today we met a new hire who had only been their for 4 days and he was really cool and funny, definetly needs a raise. The food was spectacular to start off with. I ordered the bourbon chicken skillet and it was simply delicious. The chicken was moist and the broccolI, fajita blend, and mushrooms were cooked to perfection over a bed of crispy red potatoes drizzled with bourbon sauce. The service was good as well. I worked at this restaurant for about 6mo befor I was fired for improper use of discounts I have met 100s of people and made a lot of great relationships with my regulars the store GM Jim Claunch was the best boss I have worked for but WKS the corporate of this restaurant gives no fuckes about its staff only the money they take in I will miss all my people the the staff I worked with but I definitely do not recommend supporting this company. read more

It was the best burger that I ever had. It's a big burger and I have a big mouth but... I had to cut it into smaller bites and use a fork. It really is juicy and perfectly cooked. Clean tables, floors and very polite and friendly staff. All of our breakfast food was great and didn't have to wait long. We were pulling a 5th wheel camper and was concerned about parking.
