    Honey wings.

The food was really good. Everything is seems fried. But worth the stop. Gator bites and the gumbo is really good.

    Pork rinds are amazing.

This place is good, if you order the right thing. My advice: steer clear of the Cajun/seafood dishes. Instead, go for your typical burger and fries combo. The cheeseburgers are very good. They're fairly thick, and hand patties. Much like a burger your Mom would make. They also have a nice burger bar with plenty of fixings. I also highly recommend the pork rinds. Every time I've ordered them, they're still popping when they get to the table. The fries are pretty solid too. And, finally, the fired pickles are worth a try. They also have a full bar with standard beer on tap. It's a nice place that is worth a try.

The grilled catfish with crawfish etouffee is absolutely five star! We ordered a salad to go with, but it was pretty pathetic. The spicy pickle fries were pretty tasty. Our waitress was attentive, quick, and friendly. Would like to get back and try some other things.

    Here come da foods!

Driving up to this place we had high hopes because we knew they serve alligator. But we had no idea it would be as nice and delicious as it was! The staff was friendly, the food is amazing and the decor is something you just have to see. Straight out of a Louisiana byou!

Never would have thought our…read morefirst night's meal would have been some Cajun Creole food in St Louis style BBQ Country We were so pleased with our decision as their food rivaled anything in New Orleans. As an avid oyster lover, never would have guessed we would have the option for charred grilled oysters in Missouri. We demolished those in minutes and quickly moved on to our entree I ordered the jambalaya and the size the spices we're so flavorful. The shrimp was on point and the chicken almost tasted like seafood plus the andouille sausage was spicy without being too hot. They nailed the texture and firmness of the rice and highly recommend My wife went with the sampler platter and it was hard to tell between the etouffee, red beans and rice, gumbo, or jambalaya which was the best. I know tough decision to choose from but that was a slam dunk that we highly recommend! Walking throughout the establishment you could tell it totally had that Voodoo deep New Orleans vibe going on that makes you feel like it belongs in the French Quarters If you're ever in the Lou and in the mood for some good Creole Cajun food, this is the spot!

Unfortunately the tram rides to the top were sold out, but we'll catch them next time. Highly recommend for a quick, educational stop! -- update -- My wife and I were in St. Louis and decided we had to do the Gateway Arch at least once. We tried getting tickets the day before and it was completely sold out, but we got lucky and snagged spots for the next morning. Totally worth the wait! The view from the top is absolutely stunning. You can see for miles across the Mississippi River and the city skyline -- it's one of those "wow" moments that makes the whole trip worthwhile. The architecture and engineering behind it are impressive too. That said, be ready for a cozy ride. The tram pods only fit about 5 people and it's very tight in there. You'll get to know your neighbors pretty well for those few minutes! If you're even a little claustrophobic or afraid of heights, this might not be for you. But if you're okay with both, it's a must-do experience. Highly recommend doing it at least once. We loved it and left with some great photos and memories. Just book your tickets in advance!

After setting up at the huge table in the corner, I stepped up to the bar where I was warmly greeted. I chose their Fish Fry, which they call a light lager. It was in a huge mug and that worked out just fine for me as it lasted a while. Oh, and some chicken wings. These were tasty buggers. Served quite hot with a rub that was more spice than sauce. Very yummy and the two sauces were perfect accompaniment. Absolutely delicious. Not long after, friends arrived and I shifted from solo laptop time to conversation. This is a call out to all locals to support places like BB's because they are getting much harder to find. Firstly, the staff went above and beyond. We were there during a Cards game, and the bartender,David, actually came out and found a place for us to park. Who does that today?? Then we got a chance to meet the chef, Samantha. She's from New Orleans and brings a NOLA menu that's as good....if not better, then anything we've had in the Quarter. Then, it was fun trading music stories with the owner, John. Overall, the best brunch we've been to in a long time!! Now.... let's talk food: - The pulled pork tamales are the best I've ever had. The pork was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. then it was covered with great chili, two over medium eggs, 1/2 sliced avocado, and chopped onions. I was in heaven. The biscuits/gravy was good, but the sample of their red beans and a sample of gumbo.... was better then I've ever had....anywhere! And then their was the beignets. Again...better then Cafe Dumonds! I know I'll get beat up on that claim, but, it's how we felt! Thanks to BB's for making our trip to St Louis a great one!!

The Pimm's cup (Pimm's no 1, lemonade, white soda, mint) was deliciously sweet, refreshing and very low alcohol. The Crawfish Carolyn had so many crawfish tails in a well balanced brandy cream sauce under a thick layer of cheese. It was an amazing dish served with buttery French bread. The Blackstrap Molasses Bacon Beignet Burger was an unexpected and creative use of a beignet as a burger bun. It only partly worked because the beignet, which was mostly air, got soggy and slightly bitter. However, the patty was extremely thick and juicy and the bacon had a smoky sweet depth of flavor. The Kool-Aid pickle was good and we loved the clementines and strawberries side dish. The only downside was the service. The waiter was nice but mixed up our order which resulted in us waiting twice as long and not having the meat cooked to our liking. There was also a long wait for the check.
