I go to open the butter for my pita and it's not butter. It's an oil whip. I do not eat fake butter. It's harmful. To find out they have no butter in the place. So I tell my server of the situation and looks at me like he has no idea what to do. Turns and walks away. So I eat my steak and stare at the baked potato. I am a recent cancer survivor and have no ability to make saliva. So I needed the butter to make the potato edible. Or even gravy or something. Also very little excess fat, which is uncommon for ribeyes around here. The baked potato is also cooked right. The other side I've had is a side salad which is just the normal side salad. The other time here I had a pizza on a cauliflower crust which I didn't like at all. I had a friend who highly recommended it, I'm just not used to that kind of crust, I guess. My wife has been getting the fried fish and likes it. She doesn't care for the hush puppies - she says they are too dense. They seem to have a lot of servers for as small of a place as it is. So service is usually pretty good. Last time our server had a couple of tables with friends and spent a lot of time talking with them instead of watching her other tables. It's hard to get good help these days, I guess. I think this is one of the better places to get a steak in the immediate area, and I'd recommend it.
